Photo extensions

Can someone help me to convert a few photos I AAAA.fxp in AAAA.jpg?

Thank you very much, Bob Bottomley

See if Irfanview can help - www.irfanview.com - it is free and can read most of the graphics and save others, and has the ability to batch conversion.

EML is the format of the e-mail file.

Save the photos to a folder on your hard drive and the photo
extension will probably be .jpg. See the following articles:

  • No file extension, manually add?

I have Photoshop CS6.  I have an iMAC 13 desktop running OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.4.  Four pictures of Photobooth that I had opened individually in Photoshop from the Finder and published individually and then "recorded under" had not, so file extensions.  I was not aware at the time.  Three were saved in the PSD and the fourth has been saved in JPEG format.  I know because Finder said they were PSD and JPEG, although they had not yet all extensions.  I have other photos of photo booth that I have edited in PS and they have extensions.  (PSD, TIF, JPEG)  I may have forgotten to flatten the layers before I saved or something.  I don't know why they were left without file extensions.  My question is: is it possible to just manually add the file for these edited photos extension? Or would it be better to re-record as?  (I think I tried and the photos had not yet any extension!)  Or it doesn't matter.

    Thank you for any information,

    Thank you very much

    Sandy

    Hello

Is it acceptable to just manually add the file for these edited photos extension?

Maybe you have renamed these images and erased the suffix by accident. You can re - nominate them once again adding the extension.

  • Adding objects to background jpg png?

I got a signature of author to put on photos that I publish or print.  It was sent to me in the format .png with a gray background, which seems to me to be transparent.  I tried to change the color of the text, but could not in the file I was sent.

I would like to know how I can add this signature to a jpeg file once I edited the photo for publication?  I would be able to change the color of the text in this place so it fits the color of the photo?

I use OS x 10.11.4, so I can no longer use iPhotos and must work with the Photos app, which is very limited with regard to the use of photos as e-mail attachments or put them on Web sites.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Photos can't stand graphic composition.  You cannot combine photos inPhotos.  You will need an external editor to add your signature to your JPEG file. You can do a preview, for example.

    • Open the image with your signature, enter ⌘A to select all, enter ⌘C to copy the selection, and then open the JPEG and paste the signature into the other photo.  Drag it to the desired position. and drag the corners to resize it.

You can call preview directly from the Panel of photo editing, if you buy the "external editors" extension of the AppStore. The current price is 99 cents.

  • Developing tab is grayed out

Anyone know why the tab 'develop' along the upper part of Lightroom app will not allow me to click on it to open?  Maybe because I am using the 30 day free trial it won't let me edit photos extensively?  Please let me know!  Thank you.

No, your 30 days trial is fully functional.

Make sure that you create a catalog and import the images that you can not work directly on the file system. LR is a destructive and as such should the images referenced in a catalog until you can work on them.

  • Photos not appearing Extension not

    Hello

I tried everything and I read literally all articles about new extensions for Photos, but I couldn't work on my Mac.

    I installed OS X 10.11.5 on a retina of MacBook Pro 13 "mid-2014.

I downloaded the ' open in...» "- extension available for free on the App Store, as well as"Super border"just to check if some extensions work on my Mac at all because the extensions of Evernote and Photo of affinity (not purchased through the App Store) do not work.

I followed all the steps described by the producers of the apps but no extension does appear.

If you're back on El Capitan 10.11.5?

For extensions to store with OS X, you must first launch each application offering extensions.

  • When I save photos a lot of their extensions are capitalized. How can a backup files in lowercase?

After surfing the web and saving the photos, the photos saved many file extensions that are. JPG. Is there a way to make all the pictures are saved as .jpg?

  • Extensions in Photos El Capitan

    Help, please

I tried to activate two extensions in Photos. One of the DXO optics. When I try to use this extension, I get a ball rotation and I have to force the program to exit to close the program. Further, I tried the pixelmator extension and when I try to use one of the utilities of these extensions the program crashes and I can't do anything with the program except the strength to quit smoking. Are these common problems or is the solution.

    Harry T

I tried the extensions of Pixelmator in Photos and it worked fine.

There may be something in your installation that is the problem.

I would first try to restart in Mode without failure, then normally once again and see if this is enough to fix it.

    Let us know.

  • Opening to the Photos: what extensions do I need?

    Hi all

I see the time will come when I'll need to leave the opening. I am using as almost day 1 and I am quite satisfied. But the writing on the wall. I'm a serious amateur, work with RAW and make especially nature photographer, landscapes and animals. Does not suggest that I go to Lightroom - not interested. I have Photoshop but it's more that I need for 90% of my photo editing. I really like the manipulation of file opening but I do a lot of tagging, etc.

I played with Photos. Simplicity is nice, but it's not opening. I don't see that I can load in Extensions, and I've been surfing on the App store to see what's out there.

So my question is simple: I want to add in the extensions in order to reproduce the tools, controls and treatment that I have had with Aperture. I can learn a new interface, if that's what it takes to get the fine-grained control that gave me opening. I am particularly interested in the exhibition order and usual settings for tone, contrast, etc. Can I use curves if the extension gives me this opportunity.

So - what extensions? I don't want to buy more than I need (of course) but I'm willing to pay for the real tools as opposed to fluff. What extensions to give me the command that I had with Aperture?

You can not "do not have" extension is an external editor for Photos that lets use any program directly from Photo retouching Photos - this includes PhotoShop, preview, etc. and costs $0.99 on the App store

In addition, you need to look at what is available and choose - Léonie (which I think will have more specific suggestions) has set up a Board to the user about what she found extensions and what they do - Photo editing for Photos for Mac Extensions
