Photo Import numbering is incorrect every time
I had to get a new computer. My old computer used to import from my camera and to maintain the numbering sequence. So, if I import numbers he would label as IMG_2351, IMG_2352, etc.. The next import event would call back and pick up where the old numbering left. Thus, the following import would be IMG_2353 and so on. Now, when I import pictures, it starts each event 001 import. So, I have several numbered photos 001. I want to tell him to keep the numbering sequence, as did my old computer. Is this possible?
What is the brand and model of your camera? Most of the cameras I know make the internal numbering file (i.e. before the files are imported).
Photo import software can usually be configured to save files in folders named with the date, that the photos were taken. Exactly how you import pictures from your camera? You use the software from the manufacturer of your camera (for example, Canon Zoombrowser EX) or you are using the Windows 7 built-in Assistant (assuming you have Windows 7)?
If you use the Windows 7 photo Import Wizard, make sure that 'File name' in "Import settings" is set to "Original file name. See http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/change-settings-for-importing-pictures-and-videos
If I were you, I would also change the folder 'Take Date' rather than 'Date' imported

The photo Import Wizard - no new photos are can it be reset?
I imported my photos with the wizard, but I chose to keep the subfolders option... Well after seeing how it was organized in too many cases, I've changed my mind. I then deleted images from the PC and ATTEMPT to redo the import.
Now every time I have insert the SD card, I get a popup saying that no new pictures have been found. Normally fine, but I need them to be imported again. I know I can just manually copy, but I want that they arranged according to date taken and which would take a lot of work manually.
Y at - it anyway that reset so that the pictures are recognized as having never been imported. The images are on my SD card only, they have been removed from the computer (same trash). No new pictures were slow to be taken using my Panasonic Lumix digi cam and SD card
I have a card reader in my laptop HP G62. Windows 7 64-bit.
I had the same problem. I saw a few asking indicated to rename the database of photos from Windows Live Photo Gallery, or Windows Photo Gallery. I solved my problem by going to the Windows Live Photo Gallery - and then manually selecting import photo and it will give the opportunity to every new import or organize existing. Selecting the existing organization in the Import Wizard brings all the photos.
If you want to go on the way to rename the Photos DB, see this link:
http://www.Vistax64.com/Vista-music-pictures-video/74007-re-import-pictures-using-Windows.html
Note that in this link, it refers to .pd4 files - Windows Live Photo Gallery has moved to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Photo Gallery and the type of file .pd6.

However, many photos in the list are old photos that supposedly already have been imported. These same pictures appear in the import list every time. Their import * one-more-time * does not help. They reappear next time, too.

How to import photos into Lightroom? I get an error every time.
I tried to import pictures from my camera card, on desktop and my "photos" on my Mac. I get an error every time which includes: not able to copy a file to the requested location. Help, please!
Make sure you have the destination (TO - the column on the right in the import screen) set to a location where you have write privileges on your computer. The level of the root of your hard drive is usually not writable with the standard user on mac os X configuration. Generally, you want something like the pictures folder in your home (/Users/

Every time I have import photos high resolution and place them on my program of 12 items - they are all BLURS.
12 elements makes the pictures for images in full resolution after importation and use. In your case, what is the size of the files you are importing. Once the files have been imported, can you please check their resolution from the 'Information' section on the right side, or "View file information" option on the right click context menu.
You import these images Revel? If Yes, then you must download an original image of right-click context menu of the image.

I flip between Firefox and Chrome, I like to keep the bookmarks on both browsers as recent as possible.
I wonder if, every time, I imports if he'll duplicate bookmarks already installed?
Thanks for your help
Yes, the import of a file bookmarks.html in Firefox would result in duplicate bookmarks, but there is an add-on Firefox called of CheckPlaces that will locate and remove duplicates.
https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/CheckPlaces/?src=SSXmarks is the only program that I've heard that will synchronize between Chrome and Firefox.

When I wake up the computer in "sleep" or "hibernate" mode, only the photo Office rises, not the icons, so I have to restart with a hard off every time. What can I do?
Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE and bring up the Task Manager > move in process > select Explorer > end task and it will restart and if all goes well it will bring to the top of your screen properly.
Your computer is completely up-to-date with all the updates?
Note I'm not a fan of setting hibernation or sleep a computer there, it can sometimes lead to problems (as you see)
I hope this helps.

Reset Windows Media DRM has allowed little to solve similar problems.
Reset Windows Media DRM by deleting all files in the Windows Media DRM folder. Note that the Windows Media DRM folder is a hidden system folder. To view hidden folders and files, follow these steps:
a. Click Start and then click my computer.
b. on the Tools menu, click on Folder Options and then click the view tab.
c. click Show files and folders and then click to clear the Hide protected operating system files check box.Location of the Windows Media DRM folder: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\DRM
If you can't find the Windows Media DRM folder, the exact location of the folder on the computer is stored in the following registry key. Ensure that this key points to a valid path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DRM\DataPathNote By default, the path is displayed in binary format. To view the path to plain text, double-click DataPath. In the Edit binary value dialog box, the path is displayed in the right column.
