  Glad that you were able to determine what text frame, it has been. We have not yet isolated the source of the bug, but in the next update (due soon), some information about the offending text block (title page and a short excerpt from the content) will be saved in the MuseLog.txt file (located in your Documents folder).

• Only 1/3 of the movie preview appear when I record audio.

  Hi, when I try to record audio (very often across multiple slides), my trailer does not appear.

  The window remain the same rather than spend. I can still see the Ok, cancel and apply. I don't see that 1/3 of the preview (file attached). I have to save, then press ENTER to close the window, then go back to the audio file for editing...

  Anyone has an idea on how to solve this problem?

  I am running Windows 7.

  Hmmm, Windows 7. This could be just one of the problems that we see with Captivate.

  I am aware that Windows 7 offers a possibility to run applications in Windows XP mode. Unfortunately I'll have to rely on others to tell how you do it. But I would suggest that you look at this option.

  See if you can run Captivate in Windows XP mode and see if it changes how things behave.

  Out of curiosity, is also 64-bit Windows 7?

  I have a Mac and everytime I try to save the program crashes. I contacted support and through troubleshooting with no determination was then invited to find my records and remember. I called and have now been in this forum.  I need help please ASAP!

  Please help, yesterday as I tried to save a new page on my site I started getting the following messages. After looking through the forums, I tried everything to separate EACH .svg file in my site to try to return to the last saved page correctly, which then begins to give me the same error even once. I don't really know what to do more. It started after the use of 2015.2 and I have since updated to the latest version, 2015.2.1.21, and I'm STILL having this problem!

  Bill - Thanks for the reply! I dug a little deeper and (finally) noticed the option to show track keyframes in the timeline panel. It was exactly what I was looking for and there all along, but I was not aware of the option icon to activate track keyframes.

• MainStage retains "Copy Audio files" during save

  MainStage guard do "Copy Audio files" then to save it. It copies the audio files temporarily in the concert file and removes them. I don't know why he started to do so. I tried to do a "save under" and set the options in different ways for the project to avoid this but these concerts have done the same thing: whenever I click Save starts copying files and can I have a coffee break.

  When I perform a "Save as", I get a bunch of boxes of digital resources to include or exclude from the backup. See the checkboxes in the gray box at the bottom of the screenshot below.  Leaving the "copy EX instruments in concert" box unchecked prevents MainStage to copy audio files (at least for me.)

  Funny you should ask. I move to the Office to have a clear space. Made no difference.

  Finally I just made a new doc with the same characteristics, which took about 60 seconds, cut and pasted the content by propagation. 64 pages, it's 33 cut blocks. Each 16 pages or so I exported IDML, until it crashed, and I thought that it was page 60, so I divorced from objects on this page, images of reset to allow text on top, and it was fine.

  It's a document originally created in 1998 in QuarkXpress, translated by Q2ID and content and design redesigned last year, so I guess that a gremlin cruft is not something to really complain. I was pleasantly surprised to see that cut and paste sheets imported style and properly linked images (nice work Adobe!).

  In the Console window, select

• Preview crashes when editing in png format

  Since I got El Capitan, my preview Crash when I make changes to a jpeg file, after it has been converted into a .png file. When I reopen it the .png file, deletions I did are all black. It is not still sane the file as a proper .png file.

  I am so tired of this improvement in the system, and keep losing more in addition to the applications which I can not afford to level to deal with changes without end of Apple. I miss the day when software Mac was known for continuity.

  Can someone tell me at least just how to fix an excerpt, an Apple application!

• Audio quality in Photo Story 3

  I use profiles customized Papa John's for Photo Story 3, it says the audio is supposed to be at 320 Kbps, but when the video is finally created the audio is very fixed, is it possible to improve the audio quality until it should be? I use it for videos from YouTube because it allows me to remove black borders and have the image full screen of the player, if it can not be helped, there there other video editors that allow to remove black borders?

  I also tried to use mp3 files but had terrible audio results.

  Then I read the WMA or WAV files work best. I tried several WAV files and the sound is beautiful!

• Photo Story 3 Preview error on Win 7 Pro

  I have photo story 3 install on 15 desktop Dell, Windows 7 Pro.

  When the project is presented as a preview in the PS3, an error saying he ran out of resources (or words to that effect). The device has a dual core processor and 1 GB of RAM.
  The preview works very well on my and the machines of teachers (same spec but I have 2 GB of RAM).
  Has anyone seen this error before?
  Machines are fully patched, with Windows Media Player.

  Also... Since you are in Windows 7... you could
  review the Windows XP Mode:

  Basically, this means that you could run a virtual machine
  This includes a copy of Windows XP.

  You can open and run the VM as is it
  a program on your system in Win 7 but it would be a
  full operating system that you can install programs,
  updates, antivirus, etc... on.

  IOW... you would launch Windows 7 you always...
  and when you are ready to run an XP app... Just run
  the virtual machine as you any other program.
