Photos - albums is an image in?

Apple photos 1.3

I know there is currently no option to tell what albums is an image.

But this information is clearly in a file inside the package that I can decode...

I've actually impressed someone did not provide a work around for this (at least I can't find one).

Does anyone have information that could help me?

Thank you very much.

Not that this isn't a feature of the photo (or iPhoto for this case - or as far as I remember)-you can suggest Apple - http://www.apple.com/feedback/photos.html

If you can write the SQLite code then maybe you can do yrouself

  • Make Image in the Photo Album

I use photoshop elements 11 free trial before you buy one.  I have try the wedding photo album, but I can't to fitting an image in the 'slots' lack of a better image.  A picture I want just like a complete picture is 8.5 x 11, 300 dpi.  Photoshop elements won't let me see the whole picture.  What should I do?

Do you mean you want to drag an image from the photo tray to the workspace so that they fit into a free slot of the model?

If the size in pixels of the image slipped is much larger than the final size in the model, you will see only a small part of it in your model. If you want to resize the layer where the moved photo has been copied, you can't see the bounding box to resize the layer.

You can resize a copy of the file to move to a smaller size before you do drag, but it would be easier to use the following method:

-J' set the preference to zoom with my mouse wheel.

-Once I dragged my image to the model, I use the shortcut Ctrl-T (free transform) I Zoom strongly so that the entire image looks much smaller and the framework encompassing the new layer appears entirely. Otherwise, I can use the navigator slider to reduce the zoom range for the bounding box appears around the reduced view of the model.

-I select a corner of the bounding box and move it to the Center to resize the image so that it fits pretty much in the model; and I have the zoom in mode to normal display of the model to adjust the size and position of the layer with the tool moving.

  • Photo albums, do not sync on iOS 10

Whenever I try to sync my photo albums regular on my iPhone with the newly updated iOS 10, photos sync but not displayed in albums.

They show in the pictures under different dates tab, but not in the albums section in the appropriate album titles the they are synced with.

Ive never had this problem until the update to iOS 10 today.

Help, please! Given these photos sorted into albums is a necessity for me!

I have the same problem, had to go back to the old version of IOS 9.x

  • Photo Album using for screen saver

I would like to use a photo album for my screensaver. I did it in the past with iPhotos and Photos.

Using OS 10.11.16 on MacBook Air

    Photos 1.5

I moved my old library of Photos on a hard drive that I needed storage space.

Succeeded in creating a new photo library.

Went in system preferences to set up the screen saver as I did in the past.

Can 'see' the new photo library, but it is shaded on so I can't choose it as my screensaver.

I opened and closed applications and restart the computer.

I could choose a picture of pictures for my desktop image

Have you turned on the photo library as your system library system in Photos preferences > general tab, after you have created the new photo library?

"Use as a Photo library system" option should be grayed out in the Photos > Preferences > general, when you view the library you want to use for your saving screen and with other applications.  If 'Use as a Photo library system' is not grayed out, click it.  Then log market once again before trying to activate your album as a source of the screen saver.

  • Photo albums for iPhone synchronization

Hi, I have a little problem... I always made photo albums and then synced via iTunes. But all of a sudden today, all the albums synced on my iPhone 6 was gone... he same photo stream.

When I connected the phone and went to iTunes > and the photos selected, to check if I could choose the albums of synchronization, it is said that "iCloud Photos is on" and I don't have the possibility to choose albums I want to synchronize...

Maybe I touched something in preferences or change something without knowing it, but does anyone know how to get to choose what photo albums to sync back?

See picture for how my iTunes window now looks like...

Here's my iCloud setup in preferences:

And that's my iCloud on my iPhone:

How can I fix? Thanks in advance :-)

When you upgrade to iCloud photo library ON, you no longer control the albums must synchronize, because all the images will be synchronized.

Same thing for my photo stream. This option could be duplicating what iCPL already.

If you want to return to 'old', turn to iCloud library Photo OFF.

  • How to remove the photo albums on iPhone 5

My phone storage is full because when syncing iPhone 5 on my Mac (10.10.5) he charged 6.3 GB of photos on my phone.  I tried to change the sync settings in iTunes, but the pictures are still on my phone. These pictures synchronized in through mac have removed in the same way

Connect the phone to the mac

    On the left
Settings - Photos - check the synchronization

  • I want to reset iPad photos so it clones my iMac Photo Album via a cable. Get weird iPad 1/2 albums I don't want. How?

Something weird is going on my iPad 2 aerial, with the remains and partial albums. I have always used a direct connection cable USB-lightning to synchronize. My iMac photo album is perfectly formed, sorted, etc. I want to have pictures of my iPad to wipe all the photos, and then clone that I have on my pictures to the iMac. No muss, no fuss.

Then go ahead, I want both of them to sync.

I've tried enabling iPad iTunes > Photos > synchronize Photos (both TOGETHER and SELECTED (with all selected).) I end up getting half of the albums, they aren't right key group, bad photo, etc.

I already copied all the pictures I want from my iPad to my iMac, so I'm fine with losing everything that my iPad Photos has, as long as it takes all my iMac photos and on the copy material.

    Best way to do this?

Latest versions of iOS and El Capitan.

Bonus question. iPad Photos wants to import many (many) photos to Photos of the iMac. These images already exist. If I select all import them, is smart enough to go, synchronization "is a dup so I don't bother. Or I'm going w / duplicates ruin my iMac Photos? Having several hundred pictures showing whenever I have connect my iPad and then view it on my iMac annoys Photos app.

    Thank you very much!

I'm sure that you know--he put the photos in iTunes and then sync them to iPad - not sure from Photos - Mac directly, works

That said, I think I know that photos are stored with a specific tag, and if you import the same image twice, it will be stored again with another tag creates a duplicate

If possible try with just an image and see what happens

Also, if you don't want pictures opens automatically as soon as the connection of the iPad - there is a box at the top left which you can uncheck

  • How to import Photos album of iMovie.

I used to be able to import a photo album in iMovie. I would like to edit my pictures, put in order in an album and then imported into iMovie. It was working fine! He kept the order too. Something has changed with the how they upgraded to the Photos and the new iMovie. Now that the easy process seems to be broken. Mac is known for that market. What has happened and is there a work around? So far, it seems to export to office and importation, losing all the work to order the photos in the photos app.   (I already tried to see how it works) I make the slide show of the graduation for the entry into force of the elders in our school. Moving images is not as easy to iMovie, make sure you can see the images and keep photos of student spread so a student does not seem too much time together is easy in Photos. Will this change?

Correction: The first sentence should be - I used to be able to import an iPhoto album in iMovie. I don't think that I was able to import the Photos app.

  • Organize the former file based photo albums

I want to use pictures for its operation.  The problem is that, over the years of using iPhoto, and before that we have our big mac, we had albums based on records.  It's the style of back in the day.  So, this is the crux of the problem.  Yes, photos were not settled as of the events in the oldest in iPhoto.  I want to take the old 'albums' folder, turn them into what that photo considers that a form of organization.

These image files were probably not related "tags" or "Key words".  When you look at the older JPEG files, the metadata date taken is simply not there, and the date of creation was when we copied the PC to Mac.  So without record details, we would lose the dates.

I'm willing and able to start from scratch, based on a list of folders that contain images with missing 'date', but a clear folder with a date name and then import them into Photos.  If I did, they all end up as 2012 when we moved from windows to Mac photos.  Very bad.

Is there a good way to tackle this, even if we buy software to help?

Thank you very much for your help.

I understand the Photos method.  I want to just have successfully imported and do not lose their association with an album.

  • Change the background iWeb photo album page?

    Hello community.

I'm changing a background of iWeb photo album page but without success. I am currently implementing a gradient background thought that retrieves Html code, and directly on Inspector menu in the background of the browser, but that only works on the iWeb himself. When I download the page and test it on the browser, the page is white.

Image on iWeb and when downloaded:
    Image on iWeb: when downloaded:

I tried with a snippet of Html code, but nothing has changed:

    < script language = "JavaScript" type = "text/javascript" >

    parent.document.body.style.backgroundImage='url(images/menu-background.png)';

    parent.document.body.style.backgroundRepeat = 'repeat-x';

    elem = parent.document.getElementById ('nav_layer');

    elem.style.backgroundImage='url(images/menu-background.png)';

Any ideas how to set a background Image of my choice on an iWeb Photo album page? I have already disabled the Page background. Only the background of the inserted browser.

    Thank you

  • deleted photo albums are reproduced after every ios update

After every ios update and a reboot there is old on my iphone and ipad photo albums that I deleted a long time ago (I created these albums if you use iphoto, but I deleted them on my mac after I went to photos). To my knowledge, there is therefore no these albums on my mac more. The app iphoto and iphoto library have been entirely removed from my Mac. So, where did they come from? I do not use icloud photo sync or something. Just sync albums selected with my devices via itunes.

I found a method to remove unwanted albums of my devices first unchecking an album in itunes and then sync again. But on the next update, as if by magic they reappear. Anyone an idea what to do, then these ghost albums don't happen again after my next update?

    Hello there, hkr1234.

It seems you see sync photo albums on your iOS device that you removed from your iPhoto and Photos for the libraries of Mac. One of the possible reasons for the behavior you see, it's the folder iPod Photo Cache is created when you synchronize your phone always contains the information for these photos. The following Knowledge Base article proposes in-depth measures to remove this folder, in effect, resetting so that it is created again the next time that you sync photos to your device.

On the folder for Cache Photo iPod

Delete this folder does not remove the original images in your library, and the file will be recreated the next time you sync photos with your iPhone, iPad or iPod.

The location of this folder depends on the synchronization options you select in iTunes. In iTunes, if you change the selection in the menu synchronize Photos, it will create a folder iPod Photo Cache (and the previous record will remain).

    Photos, iPhoto or Aperture

If you're syncing from a photo, iPhoto or Aperture library, follow the steps below to find the folder iPod Photo Cache in its default location:

    1. From the Finder, choose go > home of the bar menu at the top of your computer screen. If you have moved your library of Photos, iPhoto library or Aperture library to a different location, go to this location.
    2. Open the pictures folder and locate the library of Photos, iPhoto or Aperture Library library file.
    3. Control - or right click the file, and then choose view the contents of the Package on the shortcut menu.
    4. In the window that opens, click on and drag the cover Photo iPod folder to the trash.
Don't delete or change any other file in the library package. Remove or modify other files can result in loss of data.
    5. Close the window.

    {...}

A folder on Mac OS X, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or 10

The iPod Photo Cache will be in the folder you selected to synchronize with.

    To learn more

    • The Cache Photo iPod folder may be larger than the size of the photos being synchronized.
    • The iPod Photo Cache size can vary depending on the device is synchronized. A device of the higher resolution, more iPod Photo Cache will be.
    • If you are synchronizing with multiple devices, your iPod Cache can contain several optimizations of the same images.

  • Photo Album-Photo Stream

If I had to restore a device to power or adding a new of an old installation that between Photo Album & Photo Stream would bring most of the photos of cloud storage?  I have 3 I have devices that a it shows 3 option restore from.  Normally, I keep just a few pics in the Album since there is a copy in the photo stream.

Maybe I did not understand the question, but icloud photo library will bring back more then photostream, cause library meant to contain all the photos you downloaded and photostream contains only the month last images on Apple servers. That's why Apple charges for storage of photo library and flow is free.

However if you really use device with ios 5 Library is out of the question and you just need to restore from the backup of the device that corresponds to what you want and then has older ios then on the new device.

  • Corel Photo Album 7

I use this program for about 18 months with Windows 7 and had no problem.  Suddenly she stopped to read the photo files in "My pictures" and recorded zero photos.  I tried to re install with no luck.  Some of the logs tell me that PA is not compatible, but I know it was.

Problem solved.  I decided that it came so suddenly that something has to happen, so I just used a mirror image and given at an earlier date.  The only thing I did during this period was to install a new program of Panasonic photo storage.  Photo album worked without any problems since.
