photos in Albums in iCloud disordered library of date taken

Hello

The pictures in my photo albums on my Mac all appear in order of date taken.

They are not in iCloud library iCloud.com on the web.

They seem to be in order added to the album and another weird way, like a photo of 2009 next to 2015 - and the date of the photos is well reflected in iCloud.com - they are not sorted in the order as they are on my Mac. Would not be synchronization then - although all the elements are there.

Simply not mirrored in the order of date taken as they are on my Mac.

I noticed this time before and an update to iCloud took care of it - now photos in albums seems to be down again.

I have no timing devices - that my Mac to iCloud.

All the world and thank you in advance (I posted earlier but my question was not clear and I couldn't change it. Hope this makes sense).

Happy Friday,

H

Just to check that you are using iCLoud photo library-, this sounds rather lime iCLoud, photo sharing

  • Sort order of the photos in albums to iCloud

When I add the creation of an album using Photos shared on iCloud, pictures are sorted by date, oldest first, any order, they were initially classified as.  Is there a way to change that to preserve the original order of the photos, or at the very least, use manually in the order, I want to use?

Shared albums are sorted by the order, they are added to the album if you wish in a precise order add them manually one by one.

  • Problems of sorting photos in a folder "in «date taken"»

I have a folder of large single file of photos, taken with 2 different cameras taken during a recent trip.   I want to sort pictures by date taken to be used in the preparation of a slide show in temporal sequence.    Although it seems that this sort option "date taken" is, Windows sorts all the pictures from a camera by date, and then the other.  The photos should be interlaced by date, as the two aircraft were used on almost every day.  Why does this work?  With such a big file, manually marking to force the desired result would be very demand a lot of work.

    Thank you

  • I can't see albums in iCloud photo library

I just moved my library of Photos from Mac to use iCloud photo library. All my photos (over 26,000) transferred successfully from my iMac library and I can see them on my iPhone and iPad. However, none of my smart Albums appear at all. The only albums in the iOS app are "All Photos", ' Selfies', 'Videos', recently deleted ' and a folder called "iPhoto", containing a small number of old imported albums in iPhoto. These albums are working but they are created by the system in a matter of a y. I created dozens of smart Albums on my Mac, some in subfolders in 'Albums' and some 'Albums' root, but none of them shows at all. The subfolders containing the albums appear but when I open them, I see is "empty folder: this folder contains no albums'." Does anyone know how to fix this?

  • iCloud Photos per album?

Hi, I have a few thousand pictures in my PHOTOS app, and I installed several albums where I arranged all my favorites that have been published.  I want to put in place the iCloud 1 TB to back up all my photos, but I would like to know if I am doing this, iCloud copies the structure of the album that I have on my Mac (and download the version edited by album), or he'll just download all the photos in their original version of UN-edited in one big file?

I would like to make sure I have back up copies of the modified version, and I can find them easily (i.e. album)

Would be very grateful for any information...

    Thank you very much.

If you enable iCloud photo library, it reflect the structure of the album on your Mac and display versions edited photos. You can see the www.icloud.com library in the Photos app.

  • Solution of fast backup, photos of google or iCloud photo library?

Hey there Apple community, im in a bit of a situation difficult and need a few thoughts. My iPhone more than 6 s is fully charged to 64 GB of photos and applications. My iMac is fully loaded with photos in iphoto, Yosemite. I have 10% left in my iMac HD. It won't let me save my iphone. I know I go through my iphoto library and organize and delete some photos and consolidate the events before migrating to the new application photos and then move it to icloud photo library, but I'm very limited on time in the next few months and won't be able to do. I wrestle on a quick temporary solution for backup, but don't want to spoil or lose my precious photos and other data.

But this is what im thinking, tell me if this would mess things up.

I would like to either temporarily back up all my photos on Google photos for now from my iphone, and then when I'm ready, I'm going to migrate my iphoto library all on my imac to the photo library to icloud and then transfer my photo library from google to the photo library icloud (but not sure. If it works Someone at - it experience with google pictures and Mac?).

Or I simply activate the iCloud library of photos on my phone while it backs up my current pictures on my phone last year and then optimize my storage on my phone. Then a few months starting now to migrate my iphoto library 268 GB of Photos app on my iMac running Yosemite and then migrate the library of Photos in this same icloud photos library that I opened a few months back from my phone (I understand I will pay $10 per month for the size of the library). I feel like the latest one is the best option, but I'm not sure if I do it my icloud library won't sync and consolidate properly because I started with my current pictures on my phone and then brought in my library of photos together for the last 5 years at a later date. How do you think any community?

Why not get an external drive and move the photo library of the computer to the outside. If successful, you can then remove the library on the computer, or just keep it as a backup.

The article is for iPhoto, but the basics are the same.

  • How to remove a photo from an album shared iCloud without remove it from the camera

    Hello

I use an iPhone with iOS 9.2.1 6s

I'm trying to remove some photos in an album of iCloud shared with my sister, but every time I clear a photo she it removes also of my camera.

I want to keep the image on my phone that I don't want the image in the shared folder over.

How can I remove the album image, but still keep it on my phone?

All I can think is that you're doing (or do not do, if any) something different from what you think you are. Photos in the camera are not the same as those in a shared album photos, they are 2 separate elements, a delete will not delete both.

Make sure the photo you want to delete is actually in a shared album and not the album photo streams, make sure of one) have a camera and b) is where you want the other image.

  • Duplicate photos are automatically set to the library of iCloud?

I changed system library. After that I named the new library as the library system and reactivated iCloud, Photos began to download all my photos to the photo library (yet) to iCloud.

Do not exceed the storage limit for my iCloud plan, essentially the new library system is a duplicate of the previous, but he is now on a different drive.

By train to group photos in my photo library, newly designated system with those of the iCloud existing photo library, will be automatically solved duplicates? Or I have to manually delete the duplicates in some way?

Photos is to merge the new library system in your library to iCloud.

Once the pictures are downloaded, they are compared to iCloud.

Open the Console.app (in Applications > utilities). The Console will show you, done what iCloud.

You can type 'photomodel' in the search field of Console. Then I see the process that makes the double check:

Try the settings/iCloud and remove the synchronization. Wait a few minutes and then resynchronize.

Try to go into System Preferences/iCloud and stop synchronization. Wait a few minutes, then recheck the timing.

Have you tried the signature to iCloud and then reconnect?

  • Library of Smart to show photos in albums NO?

Is there a way to show all the photos that are NOT organized in albums?

I see smart albums have an option to display photos that are/are not referenced. Would you do that? What does "referenced"?

I put in a significant amount of work to organize my photos into albums, but there are a lot of them and there is a lot of disorganization, so I really wish I could clean up, prune and organize quickly.

Referenced is the recommended change the preferences to not copying inmported items in the photo library

  • can photos and opening to share a library?

Can photos and opening to share a library?

I want to share so I can use photos to back up the library in iCloud, but want to do all my work photo still open... is this possible?

No, I cannot open to open a library of Photos.   It is only one-way: migrate an Aperture to photo library.

Once the photos or Photos you can send them to your Aperture library to edit using the command share > add to open "", if you want o send to open for editing.

  • Why are my ineligible tracks for iCloud music library?

Recently, I turned on the Apple music on my Mac and turned on iCloud music library. Most of my songs have been downloaded without problem, but there were some, including some of my favorite pieces, which is apparently not eligible for the cloud.

These songs are songs that I bought years ago while they are protected AAC audio files and I bought the on another Apple ID as I used to share one with a family member before me to be my own. However, my laptop is allowed to play the songs of this ID, and there were many other tracks protected in my library bought with other Apple ID, that have been matched / downloaded without any problem.

In addition, all tracks are 128 Kbps, so that they are in the range of quality to download. None is more than 200 MB, so the file size is not the issue.

All tracks are still currently available on the iTunes Store and Apple's music catalog.

Is there another reason they might be inadmissible? And, if so, is there a way to solve this problem and download them to my music library to iCloud?

    Hello

I own a small number of titles that I could not be upgraded. While some of the songs where still in the iTunes Store, they have been republished on / remastered versions of the same album.

I suggest you burn these tracks on an audio cd and rerip them. You can get a match.
