photos of the iphone has continued to migrate to iphoto

Last week, Comcast switched my e-mail from a POP account on one account of IMAP. This has created a lot of problems with mac mail such permanent total loss of my Inbox. Between visits to the Genius Bar and calls to the technical support of Comcast in order to correctly record my mac mail folders and subfolders, I lost the ability to have pictures taken with my iphone migrate to iphoto. How do I trouble shoot it emits? Thanx

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 10 different versions of the operating system. Tips and tricks for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the operating system. In order to get help, you need to give as much information as possible. Include things like:

-What version of iPhoto.

-What version of the operating system.

-Details. Full, a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with export, then explain by describing how you try to export and so on.

-History: Is it going hard? Everything has been installed or removed? -Are there any error messages?

-Have what measures you already tried to solve the problem.

-Something unusual on configure your? Or how you use iPhoto?

Anything else you can think of that could help someone understand the problem you have.

  • Remove photos from the iphone after import

Hi, I'm new on this but I can't find an answer by reading the previous posts.

I always was able to import my photos and click the button "erase after importing" and my photos would be removed from my phone, but recently it tells me there is an error during this operation and the pictures are still on my phone using a lot of memory. Anyone know why this feature no longer works? I'm really not what although it is complicated with my pc, everything is usually automatically when I plug in my phone. Can someone give advice?

    Thank you

You have iCloud library enabled on the iPhone? (in settings > iCloud > Photos & camera)?

So you can't delete photos from the iPhone, because they are actually stored in iCloud and only in reverse on the iPhone.

Disable the iCloud photo library, if you want to download the pictures manually by USB.  But be sure, that optimize storage is disabled and all the pictures were downloaded again icloud before disabling iCloud photo library.

  • How to remove photos from the iPhone after import in Lightroom on Mac

I went back to Lightroom after opening was abandoned by Apple and I'm happy to be back. I can easily import photos from my iPhone 6 on my desk, but what to do with the pictures on my phone. With opening could easily automatically delete photos from the iPhone. I don't see anything similar in Lightroom. Do I have to remove my photos manually by selecting one at a time? I don't want to delete the folders that I created.

I'm not stored on the cloud or automatically sending my photos in Lightroom.

    Thank you

This function no longer exists in LR as Adobe says that it was originally people loose photos, accidentally I think, so it must be done manually. To be honest I never used no deletion automatic, I want to import and check all is well before any withdrawals!

  • Photos of the iPhone continues to display "video download" when there is no video to download

iPhone with iOS 9.3.2 6s.  Photos app continues to display "Video 1" when there is not download videos.  Have restarted the iPhone, a hard reset on iPhone and shot Photos market app in settings.

You say that there is no video at all on the phone? Or you think that the video has already loaded?

  • Import all THE Photos of the iPhone

    Hello

I am trying to import all the photos currently on my iPhone 6.  The unit is showing that it is about 18 000 photos on the phone (under the settings-> general-> has comments).  However, when I connect the phone to my MacBook Pro and throw iPhotos, ImageCapture - or even Adobe Lightroom - I gives me only the opportunity to import the last 4 500 images!

How can I import ALL the pictures on the device?

    Thank you

    B.

What are the parameters for iCloud > Photos on your iPhone?  Is iCloud library enabed storage "optimize"?

Then, your photos are actually in iCloud and not all photos can be imported from your iPhone.

If iCloud library is not enabled, the photos on your iPhone could have been synced to the iPhone via iTunes.  Photos you sync with iTunes on your iPhone are not in the film and you can not download using a USB connection.

  • Photos of the iPhone for iMac

    Salvation;

I am trying to download pix from my iPhone on my iMac. It has been so easy with iPhoto or Adobe Bridge. But now, nothing seems to work.

Same AirDrop does not work. I use Airdrop often between my laptop and my iMac, but I can't seem to do it between my iPhone and my iMac.

With the USB connection, the iMac does not recognize my iPhone. I have the latest or next to last OSs for each.

I resorted to emailing of small lots of pix for myself.

Any ideas would be very appreciated.

    Thank you;

    Chris

Importing Photos works exactly the same way as he did in iPhoto, connect your source, run Photos, see the sidebar menu display, select your iPhone in the sidebar, click on all imports.

You can also use Image Capture in your Applications folder.

  • Cannot access all of my photos of the iphone from the pc

When I plug the iPhone to the PC I can't access all of my photos. When I navigate to the DCIM folder the subitle said "long ago" and then I navigate to this directory and I don't see that on 7 pictures? It won't let me not delete more PC? I don't know what has changed. When I go into the cloud I can see everything?

Try to import photos instead of looking for them under the DCIM folders (there are probably more than one). See if they appear that way.

  • Photos of the iPhone would not import Photos on Macbook

I went to download my photos from my iphone to my macbook and I continue to make 'unreadable file' and ' database error: could not persist version. I download my photos several times in the past and a few weeks ago, I have download some pictures before I updated my mac to the latest version of the software. No idea how to fix this error? I am able to put the photos on my computer very well and in a snippet view, but will not import into mac photos. I even tried to import other images (not my iphone) and nothing will not import pictures for mac.

As a test Pictures of launch with down option and create a new test library.  Import photos and a test to see if the same problem persists. T it?  If he doesn't want to say that your current library is damaged.

So, try to repair the library according to the instructions in this document from Apple: Repair Your Library.

Warning: If you use iCloud photo library with Photos, this operation will lead to Photos to upload all your pictures again (of difficulty missing or incorrect thumbnails in photo - Apple Support).

  • 3 months of missing photos of the iPhone download

A few times a year I plug my iphone on my laptop to transfer photos, in case I lose my iphone. I plug it into my computer and when the pop-up box I click Import pictures and it does everything for me automatically. Last download I did was in June 2015. Today I went to do another upload but it only downloaded pictures of October until today (December 2015). I disconnected and reconnected, the popup's come, I clicked on import images, and he says no new pictures to import. I went into work stations, has chosen the icon iPhone from Toshiba, a click on the internal storage, DCIM, and there were two folders - 100 and 101 of the Apple Apple. The two files contained photos of October until today and nothing else. I also tried clicking on "Import settings" after that the popup asking if I want to import photos, but because the new popup appears saying 'no new photos to import' it stops the option import settings before I can click on it. I also right click the Toshiba Iphone icon and the selected import images, but it does also some new photos to import. The phone is also unlocked when I plug so it's not that either. I've been watching the previous discussions, but none of the solutions seem to work for me.

I wonder why two 100 Apple and Apple 101 records show only pictures from the last three months, when I have two years of photos on my iphone. And above all, I wonder why my photos from July, August and September 2015 appear not anywhere, and how can I find them on my computer and download them to my computer?

    Thank you

When you import the photos on your computer, they generally go in the photos folder in the main folder of the user. Here you may find all the photos that were previously imported. For your other question, it would be useful that you gave us more information on the computer and the software allows you to import photos.

  • Photos of the iPhone syncs to Lightroom Mobile in original quality or smart preview?

From my iPhone, I want to get the original (high quality) of my camera photo in Lightroom on my desk. Currently, I am doing this in my Dropbox camera having read and use the WiFi, sync all the new photos in a Dropbox folder. Then, when I run Lightroom on my desk, I have configuration file shows that imports of all new photos Sync of Dropbox in Lightroom.

I recently downloaded Lightroom Mobile, which has the ability to import new photos of the camera directly on Lightroom Mobile. I created this Sync to Lightroom on my desk with my cell phone from Lightroom. What I've read online however, Lightroom Mobile synchronizes only 'intelligent Preview', not the original image. This logic for RAW files because they are huge, but what about regular JPEGs?

My question is, if someone sets up Lightroom Mobile to sync in this way (the iPhone, camera-> Lightroom-> Office of Lightroom Mobile), it synchronizes the original photo (high quality) on your desktop, or just a smart preview? I wonder if I can now eliminate the Dropbox sync and just use Lightroom Mobile instead.

When you import photos from your camera via Lr Mobile, then the original is synchronized to Lr Deskop. But when you open the picture in Lr Mobile you will see a smaller kind of intelligent preview. Hope that answers your question. -Guido

  • Photos on the iPhone 6, that I can't erase

Inadvertently shortly after I bought my iPhone 6 lots of photos of my Mac Mini was downloaded to the phone.  I now have about 50 old photos on the phone I want to erase and I do not understand how to do it.  I asked representatives in Apple at the Covent Garden in London, and they're baffled too.  The photos are not recognized by "Image Capture" and the trash icon is grayed out and it says in 'Edit' the photo is not editable.  Photos later (after October 2014) are erasable.

    Any suggestions?

All the symptoms apply to photos synced with iTunes sync Photo (see part 2 of this help file: keep your photos safely stored and updated on all your devices - Apple Support)

If the photos have synced by iTunes can be deleted or modified, nor that they are visible in the Image Capture.

If this is the case, sync your iPhone with iTunes, but select this option to sync photos to an empty album to your photo library.
