  I work on a site of reference glossary in Muse and have hit a roadblock with my buttons in photoshop.

  I created the menu buttons in Photoshop that have two different States - an asset and working capital and another for normal and down (the button is actually saved with four layers/States, one for each, but for what the user sees, it's really only two options). I used these menu buttons as triggers of reversal for blank publications, and when the user hovers over the button, the page name will appear below and then disappears in slowing (otherwise the names ecaple and it would look very crowded).

  The issue I found is that when I preview the page in my browser, the buttons seem to work properly as they appear in the active state, which indicates that the page they are linked is one they are on.

  However, when I have the deployment, the button goes back back to the normal/down state, even if I'm still on the home page.

  

  Here is a screenshot of the composition settings that I set up for this widget. I tried the target 'hide' switching to zero, but as the target refers to the word 'Home', the word 'Home' has remained visible and more button remains in the active state, which is not what I want. I also tried selecting "triggers on Top", but the problem was solved not here either.

  

  What Miss me? How can I make sure that my button remains in the active state when it is on it is linked to the page?

  Looks like a bug that is the impact of the meaning overloaded state 'active '. 'Active' is the State used for an article with an applied hyperlink that points to the current page (or an anchor point in the current scrolling range on the current page) and the State used for a trigger or a sticker in a widget of Composition or a slide show that matches one element current assets of the composition or the slide show.

  It seems that we honor the hyperlink definition of 'Assets' on the loading of the page for a composition trigger with a hyperlink to the applied current page, but not to honor this definition of active when the transition to having no element in the composition active (or when presumable to transition to another element of the composition is active).

  The only solution that comes to mind would be the approach very tedious to reproduce this widget of composition on each page, delete the hyperlink on the 'active' trigger and put shaped manually its 'Normal' State for Quicken.

  I made a button in photoshop with 4 layers - each of the 4 States of Muse.  When I saw my Web page, the Normal, rollover and Mouse Down States display correctly, but I guess I don't understand how to get the status "Active" appear.  I want a user to be able to click on the button in photoshop and have this layer 4 (active state) appear and stay until the user clicks on the other hand.

  What am I not understanding or missed?

  It appears that you want the active State for the rectangle with image fill without any url of the page.

  Active state only works when the url of the page will be active, means that the page is active. If you link rectangle to any page and then preview, active State would work when you click on it, because clicking on the object will open the specific link that is associated with rectangle, which makes it active.

  It won't work without using any link.

  I suggest you to change the picture fill of asset turnover or the mouse down, that could work without linking the object to any page.

  For example, I have linked the rectangle to the home page and now active State would result when you will be noticed. Did you send the file.

  I'm looking to create a navigation menu (simple rectangles with text) in which the role active and several indicate the box will be larger in height.

  I wish well for on roll over the button to magnify and others to shrink, then for there great when selected.

  In the example below, this is what I want it to look for the apps page.

  I'm stuck as the menu widget only allows them to be on only one size. Any ideas how I can achieve this?

  You can add effects to an active state on the menu which items when in active State will show different from the menu SUP normal items.

  The States are just different styles applied to the element CSS, activates the linked page or anchor, they have no control over the HTML code. Technically, what you ask, it is possible but only with JavaScript, which should have be written on order.

  You can adjust the spacing between the menu items using the parameters of the gutter in the transformation Panel.

  Howdy,

  Trying to figure out a problem with one of my menu buttons. Each of them (home, about, the portfolio, services, contact) work very well except for the 'contact' button, which does not show the active state. Just on the active state of 'services '. The web page moves to the contact page, but the button stays highlighted on 'services '. Who is? I prefer not to link until the site is closer to complete but I can if I have to... to help.

  lol, no worries about the ONGOING work! I never judge sites. ;-)

  Anyway, if you move the anchor contact about 30 pixels it will work or down a bit of your content from contact page. As you can see in my screenshot if I scroll pretty far from having anchor at the top of the browser window, the button is marked as active.

  

  So play with your location of the anchor a little and it should work perfectly for you.

  Yes, you can STROKE around the button of the active state. You must select the button, then go to the States, click on 'Active' and add STROKE.

  I created five photoshop buttons that go on each page at synaxis.businesscatalyst.com that worked perfectly until I recently published the site and now the buttons, which I did not any changes, do not work properly.   I'm having a problem with the text on a composition between breakpoints.   I would also add that the active state inherits the attributes to Normal State, so if you have your normal formatting through the breakpoints set in place as desired (for example, 22px for a breakpoint and 16px for another breakpoint), the active State will, by default, use these settings.

  If, however, you're done by explicitly change the active status value so that it ends up enforcement at all breakpoints, you can return the default by pressing the "Reset default" button in the States Panel.

  With the help of Muse, I did photoshop buttons in the past and they shot very well, but it will not work.

  My approach:

  Normal state of my button is black and scroll it on the State is white. So why do I get this weird pixelation? I did black icons in illustrator and then brought into photoshop. I am duplicating my black icons, then the tool using magic wand or color range selection I am highlighting the black icon and their white paint. So, I have two layers, one white and one black. I save, go to muse, and then click import Photoshop button. I attribute the normal layer as my black icon and the scroll on my white icon. Then I click OK and adjust the icon in the muse.

  What's my bad process? Help, please

  For the curious, this time, after that I did my button in illustrator, I exported a PNG. What I had to do was to locate the PNG file in my Finder, right click and "open in photoshop."   You can set the same condition for content, and it would appear the color style, effect etc. even in all States.

  So, I placed my photoshop buttons and having type sitting above them. How can I make if the type is ignored by cursor, so it is just interacting with placed PSD button only on working capital?

  It is all hinky as it is and I want to just change indicates simply due to turnover on PSD only not the type. Is there a way to select text boxes in MUSE and tell him to ignore them?

  Some how I got it with the previous version of MUSE but CC is now all wonky and it keeps wanting to detect the type?
