• Photoshop update problems

  Photoshop update problems, reaching 42% and fails, restarted the computer and everything did its ask me, still nothing. Go to the cloud creative Uninstalling everything again and uninstall fails as well. No idea why?

  The best guess around here is that there are several things that have been deprecated (deleted in the new version) and Adobe didn't want to suddenly be without them.

  So, there is a problem with the opening of the JPEG images in photoshop CC 2014. I updated my version of the OS and every photoshop since then has been giving me the error "photoshop could not complete your request because the file was not found." The JPEG format is on my desktop and its visible in import window. I have read some other forums aged 3 years about how it was the version of the OS that is not recognized photoshop JPEGs. I was wondering if there was any solution to fixing this problem.

  That's happened?

  Photoshop now absolutely takes eons to load on a Win7 64: Xeon processor X 5650 hexagonal: 24 GB RAM: GeForce GTX680 4 GB box.

  It is used to load like the proverbial sh * t off a shovel but now:

  • 14 seconds = start screen appears after double-clicking a a psd / tif or the PS app to open (used to be instantaneous)
  • 22 seconds = open file (picture)
  • 37 seconds = desktop tools makes available
  • By clicking on the buttons on the bar menu takes also two or three attempts before they respond.
  • General 2 second delay when launching any process such as curves or Hue/Saturation. (Used to be instantaneous)

  Photoshop is not really a pleasure to use more.  It is a bit like the entire suite refreshed CC 2014, to be honest.  They are more organized now, put stuff before the feature.  I'm starting to wonder if Adobe still has as its target-work market!

  As regards this usergroup horrible Jive - but that's for another time.

  The only thing we have seen to cause a serious downturn is a bad version of Kaspersky Anti-virus, and update solved the problem.

• Photoshop very slow 2014?

  So I looked around and saw solutions like 'upgrade to latest version', ' disable smart guides ' and means to go back to the previous version of CC in Photoshop.

  Now updated to the latest version and started using for the first time.  Slow as molasses.  I turned off smart guides, but there is no help. I use the old version for now, but I'd rather be able to use the more updated with added features. Are people always problems with this, or am I on my own?

  I use PS CC 2014 on a Windows 7 64-bit PC. Photoshop is unusable due to the gel brush/Eraser tools.

  Update: problem fixed! It was one of my custom brushes. I have emptied the following folder, restarted Photoshop and everything seems fine

• My operating system is Windows XP and the display color quality setting properties automatically by default, low (8-bit) then access to Photoshop, this problem just started.

  Every time I use Photoshop CS5, the color quality setting in display properties by default on bass (8-bit), and I have to change the settings back to the high (32 bit) in order to use Photoshop. This has happened for at least a week; Why this problem persists I don't know.

• Photoshop CS5 - problems with your installation

  I tried several times to install Production Premium CS5 - Photoshop only (x 64 + standard) - on a new workstation Win10 Pro and keeps it fails with the message error "there was a problem with your installation. Adobe support insisted I download the latest version, as I did, but it made no difference. So they cannot give aid because CS5 is not the latest version of the product.

  An idea that MAY work to install or run some programs in Windows 10 old... works for some, not for others

• File save/open Photoshop CS6 problem

  A couple of weeks ago, I had a completely new hard drive put in my Mac laptop (mid-2012, 13 inches, El Capitan 10.11.5 running). I opened my CS6 today and found that when I tried to open or save files I'm done with this screen appearance.
