  I just installed Windows 7, 32-bit version last month. I reinstalled all my programs, including InDesign and Photoshop CS3. InDesign does not work well. Photoshop CS3 worked fine until last week. One night Photoshop does not open! I have tried everything I can think of-removal of preferences (it took me three days to find out where he was, and Ctrl-alt-shift does not work) and delete a new program for playback of videos which was the only new program I had installed (just in case), then "repaired" the Photoshop using the original disk.

  Finally managed to get into Photoshop BUT: everything is twisted - colors are off, PS tells me I only 1 600 MB of RAM, when I know that I have 2 GB installed, it seems really strange - everything is gray out checkerboard.

  This is my third post on this issue - CAN someone HELP me?  I've been without my Photoshop for over a week, and desperately need to get that back. I'm just now getting back on track, trying to get my site, and al. After almost a year out of service due to a broken back and the computer crashed. Now, I have my computer back and can not use PHOTOSHOP!  Help!

  In addition, my computer suddenly said "we had to go back to the basic Windows color scheme because there is a program that needs it (?), and then my office is all messed up. I can't get my color management back - in turn computer and turn it on again and then all is well. This always happens after trying to get into Photoshop.

• Photoshop CS3 won't open the image window

  Today I was scanning a jpg image in Photoshop CS3 and I received a message that Photoshop could not import due to a problem with the Clipboard data. (I can't rememer the exact message and I - currently - can't the message back to the top). The scanned image did save on my hard drive, so I opened it up with Painter X, where I worked with the image anyway.

  In any case, I thought it must be a problem of the PS don't import not new scans. However, I tried to open a PS file I had worked with and without open image window. (The picture shows in the navigation of the PS, but no real image file opens).

  I then tried to creat and open a 'new' PS file. Yet once, no the image window opens.

  For all purposes, PS seems to 'see' the image files, but it will not actually open (or visible) the image window.

  It's apparently a problem with Photoshop CS3 itself. I've never had a problem like this before, and I had scanned and opened an image in PS yesterday without any problem.

  I use Mac OS 10.4.11 on a Mac Pro with 3 GB of Ram.

  Anyone encountered this or heard of him? I appreciate any suggestions.

  It looks like the window is open off screen or on your monitor second behind your panels.

  So I was able to resolve the error I had with minimal effort. I ran Process Monitor and found that there is an application called AGSServices.exe which was a lot of mistakes, try to connect to the following folder: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\cache. I deleted the cache.db file in this folder, and the next time I open photoshop it asked me to re-enter the license information. Presto! That fixed it. In order to delete the cache.db file, I had to go in safe mode, but you could probably remove it without going into safe mode if you haven't tried to open a product adobe since a restart.

  I guess the cache.db file has been corrupted. Hope this helps someone who is having a similar problem.

  a trojan virus has forced us to get 2 of our computers. One with Creative Suite 3 and the other with Photoshop CS3.

  step 1 to install the software on computers is no problem. Activate us the licenses and restart the computer. After reboot, we have no connection to the internet and a yellow triangle in the task bar symbol. So we uninstall the Adobe and the internet connection is working again.

  Same fixed.  At executed license repair tool, Adobe - Adobe licensing repair tool, and it fixed the problem.

  If you have a problem dl'g, you don't follow all 7 steps.  the most common mistake is not meticulously follow the steps 1, 2, and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system, allowing you to download the correct version of the adobe.com site).

I have a Nikon D5200 who, according to adobe, it is taken in charge, but when I try to download a camera raw, patch 8bi it does not recognize the file format.   Thank you for your help, I have already downloaded ACR 8.7 and tried to download the converter DNG will have to back track on what does not recognize the file when I downloaded it. is the problem, now that I need to change my files to DNG of NEF files before opening in photoshop?

  I know it's old software now, but it's version has my company, and they have not updated... with this...

  I installed PS CS3 on a laptop using a volume license.  The user has the expanded version he installed instead. I tried to install it, but could not so I uninstalled CS3 and installed the CS3 extended. He didn't apply for a license and opened as CS3. So I uninstalled again and clean the registry of Photoshop CS3 entries and even search on the serial number. Reinstalled. Still did not ask the serial number and open as CS3.  I installed the extended on my computer, it came initially as CS3, but after entering the serial number extended, it seemed to "unlock" and everything changed for read CS3 Extended. I was able to connect on the cat of Adobe and they referred me to technical support.  Called them and they said they no longer support CS3 and to search the knowledge base.

  At this point, I would say that you would probably have to call Adobe support, except that they will say that they do no more than Photoshop CS3 support.  The license information is precisely the kind of thing, Adobe does not want to play with users, and they will certainly not publish information to help hackers understand how to defeat.  He probably won't be in a prominent place, and it is probably encrypted.

  This may be a case where a new operating system installation is necessary, unfortunately.
