Photoshop CS4 lost when the hard drive is dead.  Is is possible to download again?

I bought Photoshop CS4 and InDesign in 2008 as a student in download.  My hardrive recently died so I lost all of my installed software.  I bought these so long as I have more reception of the e-mail or serial number.  Is it possible to somehow download CS4 so I don't have to pay for the PS?

Thank you in advance!

Hi mogcat,

You can download Adobe CS4 software for direct download links available at: http://prodesigntools.com/download-adobe-cs4-and-cs3-free-trials-here.html

But make sure you follow the steps mentioned on the page before you start the download.

  • Satellite M70 - down keyboard when the HARD drive gets hot

My Satellite M70-181 begins typing "t" series when you reach the working temperature. In my case, if the HARD disk exceeds a temperature of 48-50 ° C (speedfan).
I replaced the original Travelstar with a new HDD Samsung, but it becomes so hot that precedes it and the blackout keyboard still appears.
Because the processor is idle most of the time, the fan is too slow. But the fan doesn't seem to affect the temperature of the HARD drive in any case.
Any ideas anyone? (Sorry for this kind of English...)

    Frank

    Hello

Have you noticed this problem with keyboard only when the temperature is raised to a higher level?

To be honest, I have never experience this problem and I can't believe that a higher temperature of HARD drive could affect the functionality of keyboard

However, maybe you should clean the grids and the cooling fans. The notebooks are clogged with dust and don t cooling modules work properly.
Use a jet of compressed air which should help to remove dust, I think this should help to reduce the internal temperature.

  • Out of the blow of sleep when the HARD drive password used on Portege R700

    Hello
    I just got a DLI R700 with Win 7 Pro 64-bit
I have a very annoying problem because it must be plus 1 minute to accept the password after the resumption of the mode standby. It would be faster out of the hibernation!
So he wakes up from his sleep in a second, then you can enter the password without any problem but you just can't click on the arrow or press on enter up to what more than one minute. Similarly, it will accept even fingerprints directly at the exit (you get the green check mark) after wake but then expects just over one minute to move in the opening session on the desktop screen.

Through a process of account, I worked on what was going on...
Only, it crashes when you have the password on resume from sleep. CV password sleep turn out and he throws back in Office windows in seconds of wake
This does not happen to resume from hibernation or reboot - scan of fingerprints or password is entered, then goes right into the office in a few seconds
I started uninstalling software fingerpint, vap, power, toshiba - nothing always security management the same. Then I realized the password HARD drive - which was defined using the security of Toshiba and deleted using the same, has been still enabled in the bios. I have this off and everything works fine. I reinstalled the vap, power management and fingerprint software and everything is always very well, so it was defnitely the HARD drive password.
Now it's really fake I want to have a RESUME from sleep password and HDD password protection - I have to choose between one or the other, unless I want to wait more than a minute each time he wakes from sleep which is a real pain! So it's clearly a bug in HARD drive password settings, probably in the bios? I have the latest BIOS installed.
Any ideas on how to get this sort?

Does anyone else have this problem with be either 32-bit or 64-bit. Or everyone doesn't have this problem, that is to say that they hear HARD drive password AND he wakes with password ok in a few seconds?
    Thank you

    Hey Buddy,

It's really hard to say something about what I can only say that I can t noticed this problem on my Windows installation.

By the way: you are using the version Windows from Toshiba or your own installation of Windows?

Theoretically, it could be a problem to install Windows or disc itself are you able to test another installation of HARD drive or windows that you can make sure it is not a software problem?

  • With the help of product recovery CD when the hard drive replaced

    Hi all

It seems that my hard drive is defective, so I bought a replacement, installed in the laptop OK and tried to use the Toshiba product recovery disc. The laptop started with the disc OK and recovery of product starting screen appeared and I started the process. The process starts, but then crashes and no matter how much time wait nothing further happens.

I put the defective hard drive, back to and started on the recovery disk and it started and the process started OK.

The recovery disc can not be used on a replacement hard drive? Surely, this is possible, as hard drives do fail and must be replaced.

Can someone tell me how to fix it please?

    Thanks in advance!

In General, you can use recovery image after replacing HARD drive. I did the same thing on my machine.
It was: is the new HARD drive recognized properly? After Exchange of HDD enter BIOS and check this.
Before you begin the recovery image installation if please try to set the BIOS to the default settings and try reinstalling the recovery image.

  • Tecra M5: How to use the HARD drive password when the HARD drive is connected as an external device?

I have a Toshiba Tecra M5 with MK1032GSX hard disk. I put a bios password and HARD drive password. Every day I turn on my laptop with my password a number only once: unlock the disk and bios. The password screen is before windows starts.

One day my laptop motherboard is broken, I bring my pc on the Toshiba support center (less disc) and I'm waiting for him (2 months ago). I need to read my date of the disc, but it is locked by password. The drive is a SATA drive, I put it on a desktop computer and I see it in the bios and in windows resource device, but I do not see in the Explorer.

None of the software I've tried (HDD unlock, atapwd...) will not work. I have my password, I have not forgotten.

How to read my date? Can you help me?
    Thank you.

    Hi Oscar

Hmmm I m not 100% sure, but I think that it s not possible to remove the HARD drive HARD drive password if you haven t your laptop.
I know that if the HARD drive password has been set the HARD drive is not more accessible and more usable.

  • Dv5-1190eh hangs at the HP logo when the HARD drive is inside

    Hello world

I have a problem with my laptop. Today, I have reinstalled Windows and after the first reboot it freezes on the HP Logo and did not meet any key. I tried with other drives 2.5 "hard and did not work at all. Without HARD drive, I was able to boot from a Linux live cd without problem.

Could it be linked to the motherboard, if so, is it repearable?

    Product name: HP Pavilion DV5-1190eh

    OS: Windows 7 64-bit

BIOS: F.14 (I know it is obsolete, but it did not seem like a problem, and I don't know how I can update now).

    Hello

Thanks for the reply. I disassembled the unit, it is cleaned of dust (there was very little) and reassembled the laptop. The SATA controller somehow obtained and ready, and I was able to boot from the HARD drive.

    Now everything works fine.

  • Portege 2010 - clicks of death? -Perhaps the HARD drive is dead

    Hello

A few minutes ago, I tried to start my portege 2010, who worked a few hours ago. Now, I do not even past the BIOS screen because the disc is of strange noises, as leaders try to enter the post, but fail. I have to admit that yesterday the system froze for no obvious reason but I didn't know that this was due to a failure to come, I just rebooted the machine and it behaved like any other day. So I'm rather perplexed, how the disaster could hit so suddenly. The portege is out of the warranty period, so I guess there is no way get around to buy a new drive. I wonder if this problem is a common problem among the Portégé series, I think I remember an article published online by indicating this.

    Hello Steffen

If Toshiba STAS 10 000 or more laptop computers Portege 2010 and you find one or 10 other users with the same symptoms of HARD drive, it cannot be any kind of common problem. Common problem is something else.

According to your description, is it really possible the HARD drive shows signs of dysfunction. All you can do is to watch carefully what happens in the next few days and if the HDD feature fails, you must buy a new HARD drive. All that s!

If you will be able to start it in some way I recommend you back up all your data (e.g. on USB key) before the HARD disk fails completely.

  • Which version of Windows Vista do I have? I can't read the sticker because it is worn out and the hard drive is dead.

What version of vista OS x 14-39682

I can read 25 characters of Vista on the coa sticker numbers, but the name of the version of windows has dissipated. The hard drive is unreadable and dead. I have another hard drive and the number, but I don't know which version of Windows Installer. The number, I can read is 00148-128-072-097 and the other is x 14-39682.

The 14-39682 X is the part number of your copy of Windows Vista and it is Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 OEM.

  • Portege R200 - how to replace the HARD drive

Fundamental questions about the Toshiba Portege R200 (purchased model birthday Thailand August 2005) are:
    (1) Please provide instructions to remove the hard drive (non-functional) (illustrations if possible)
    (2) model has enough space inside for hard drive 2.5 inch? (Impossible to locate 1.8 inches and below, to get the results of [expensive] calls to Toshiba - of interest only)

    Background:
    (1) while 3 years warranty in force I trecked (expensive) of Malaysia in Bangok (where to buy) at the headquarters of Toshiba (if you know Bangkok taxi drivers, you'll know what a test or going around in circles and the nonsense in the fire that was)... Toshiba agreed HD vibrating but reported would take 3 to 10 weeks to get the HD replacement (!?)
    (2) I was a few weeks later to the r - u (to tie)... They told me they couldn't help; I "should contact my provider...". This is an Asian model, in Europe, we cannot... etc etc.
    (3) a week later the HD has no
    (4) I contacted Toshiba but they told me the warranty expired 7 days before...
    (5) since this time I phoned and was put on hold for Toshiba in the region of London (several times), Singapore (3 times), Thailand (well, if you know how it goes, say-no more, shots of elbow-boost)...

I got nowhere. But were invited by the media to bring it to the headquarters of Thai (yet)... It's all right, I'll book a flight and hotel etc now, shouldn't cost all that much more than the computer cost me initially...

Oh, another thing, not very important: to help out me, I bought a lighter machine at Toys R us... 300 quid... for the love of antiquity I always want to get the old dog to this shiny Silver Anniversary edition slim R200 works again...
I have a 2.5 "HD available (recond and costs all 9 quid in Brummagem) but before I destroy the old R200 dog by ineptitude... (and lost to carefree annoyance no assistance of Toshiba)... and/or on how to remove HD, please?

    Hello

I have seen words about your question.
AFAIK the R200 was equipped with the utility of the HARD disk protection. It is a feature to reduce the risk of damage to the HARD disk.
Using the acceleration sensor built into the computer drive HARD protection detect vibrations, shocks and sings in the computer and automatically moves the HDD Head somewhere course, in order to reduce the risk of damage.
But this function does not ensure that the HARD drive will not damage! It reduces the risk of damage!

However, the HARD drive can be removed very easily.
At the bottom of the unit, you will find the HARD drive Bay. It s close to the battery (on the left).
You need to remove two screws to get access to the HARD disk 1.8.

PS: You can use disks hard only 1.8. The 2.5 hard drives are not compatible.
    I discovered that you can use a TOSHIBA 60GB 4,200 rpm 1.8 HDD HDD1544BZK01

  • Satellite L350-170 - sounds of clanking from the HARD drive

My laptop Satellite L350-170 performs a kind of rattling noise when the hard drive light flashes.
Is this normal because this is a replacement one but that I had did not all sounds.

    Hello

It is very difficult to say why this noise appears.
I have two laptops. On a laptop, the HARD drive clicks and creates its strange but 4 years it worked correctly.
The other HDD doesn t create sounds

So, as you can see not really easy to tell what could cause this noise of rattle, but I recommend creating a file backup.
In the worst cases could die your HARD drive and as a result, a backup is always recommended.

You said that the HARD drive has been changed so maybe you should ask ASP for more details and maybe this HARD drive will be replaced again.

  • Replacing the hard drive and Recovery console repair turns into a nightmare of activation

I took the hard drive of a computer dell laptop is no longer used and put it in my current toshiba laptop (in which the hard drive was dead prior).

I had my laptop to accept the hard drive by using the recovery console and do a chkdsk with the repair option. After repairs the laptop now wants to be activated.

So now I use my laptop with a hard drive built to a dell computer. Of course, I uninstalled all the bloatware and replaced all the drivers with the right. the hard drive works fine with my laptop. This isn't the problem.

My problem is that windows will not activate. It is a genuine copy of windows xp home edition, purchased from dell. I got through all of the activation methods and they tell me that the installation id is invalid. I'm basically a big circle with phone support to web support.

If my product key is known to be valid for windows xp family when he was on the hard drive in the computer dell laptop, why is it not valid when traded to the computer toshiba laptop and why used someone help me with this problem. I can't be the only one that this has happened?

as a reminder, swapped a hardrive is no longer in use of the computer, a work computer. has ran chkdsk to fix disk errors, after reboot windows is enabled is no longer and requires activation. Activation Assistant will not accept the installation as id being valid and would call support, when I go to real profit online to activate it also error. How can I activate this well-known work product id? I'm not hacking because he is no longer in use, basically, I am on a windows xp home edition right now and nobody will help me.

    Thanks in advance

    Dan

The hard drive Dell has a "Dell" OEM of Windows XP version and a "Dell" product key (and might even be locked BIOS) that will not work on your Toshiba.

As with all versions once installed on a computer/motherboard OEM it cannot be moved to another PC.

  • How to remove the hard drive

My computer is about to crash with Vista and its features!  I can't put an administrator password, because I do not have an administrator.  When I try to add the Admin, I can't because I'm not an administrator!   Now since under the new additions to vista, I need an administrator to do anything, I can not update, modify delete problems or do anything.  I need to wipe the hard drive to windows 7 if possible.  Any suggestions?

    Hello

You can reinstall Vista, back to new condition (how your computer was when you bought it), and then upgrade to Windows 7 (which will save you money)

Here are the different ways to reinstall Vista:

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.

Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.
