Photoshop CS6 PDF records gray Type

I'm saving a combination of screenshots of mobile with descriptions of types below each screen. The first line and last few lines of the type appear in gray instead of black standard. I have rasterized, the type of layers; However, this method thickens the type and requires to be "daring" in appearance.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Wynne

Looks like you save an RGB image to PDF, the PDF is by converting your RGB to CMYK black text; in general, producing a black low or muddy. There are several ways to solve everything, but if an RGB image is what you have and what you want to keep, go to the exit sign of the save Adobe PDF file dialog box and choose No. Conversion color > color Conversion: menu.

  • Seeds of Photoshop CS6 acton record path

I have recorded some actions for photoshop elements using paths and noticed something strange in photoshop cs6 13.01 on windows 8.

    .

Record of action to fill a path or make a selection from a path, does not seem to save the settings.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Select the Rectangle tool and set the option on the paths in the options toolbar.

    2 draw a rectangle.

    3. save the workpath in the Panel drawn by double clicking on the thumbnail of the path in the Trace Panel.

4 make a new action and click the record button.

    5. try to use the path to complete (in the context menu in the Panel traced) with the dialog box, and then assign him any option of your choice.

(I used 50% gray in my test)

    6. try to use the selection to do with dialogue from the context menu in the tracks Panel.

None of the measures seems to save the settings (settings).

Reading of the action using what were the last settings.

I expected the parameters to be registered as photoshop 7 (second action in the screenshot below)

Photoshop cs6 13.01 is the first specified action.

Anyone who sees this on their machines with photoshop cs6?

    Untitled-2.png

Seems to be just another bug Adobe introduce some time ago. CS6 and CS5 on Windows 7 record the path running same way filling with all the way nothing else. Work the same even with the pre-established selection CS5 and CS6 both 64-bit and 32-bit.  If you want to use the automation of Photoshop I would say you are using CS3 there less then Cs4, CS5 and CS6 bugs when it comes to automation.

  • Photoshop CS6 PDF files does not open in Adobe Acrobat

    Photoshop CS6. Windows 8

I used Photoshop to create smaller PDF files. I've never had a problem with CS6 until last week. When I click on save to PDF dialog box "error" is displayed. However, when I try to open the new file in Adobe Acrobat reader, a dialog box says 'insufficient memory '. In addition, in my windows Explorer, the file appears as just a white box in the sidebar "Preview".

What I'm not doing correctly all of a sudden? I've been sticking with the same preferences and save the settings since I started using Photoshop CS5.

You have updated Acrobat / Adobe Reader recently? If so, this update may have introduced a compatibility problem in shared libraries across the world of the Adobe PDF. Either the update never passed by correctly and you now have a sloppy Acrobat. Do other sources open PDF files? If this isn't the case, it would be a strong suspicion that you may need to reinstall / repair Acrobat. It is also possible that you have probably enabled sandbox in Acrobat security preferences (or did an update) and so Acrobat refuses to open some files, if it is unable to determine their origins. One more thing that comes to mind: have you tried saving the file twice in a row under the same name? This kind of thing sometimes happens too fast (on SSD drives and others) and is not update Windows file security information in time (or your virus scanner cannot keep up) and the resulting file is useless. Crush them with the same file would then give the correct results.

Check the picture Mode and the Bit of your document depth.

    Image > Mode

If your document is in a different depth of mode or the bits of the image, try Color RGB or 8 or 16 Bits/channel .

  • Photoshop CS6 crashes when recording

    Hi all.

I recently bought a subscription to creative and put cloud updated for CS5 CS6.

I had some difficulties with my initial installations of Photoshop and Illustrator, where they would be both cling very shortly after the opening. I thought I had solved the problem by creating a new user account on my machine with administrator permissions and by logging in as that user to run programs. Now the two programs will launch and Illustrator works fine, but Photoshop won't save.

I am able to run Photoshop and do whatever I like, but as soon as I save the program crashes. It does not save him. It will take me by any relevant before saving, dialogues but then crashes. The Task Manager shows that Photoshop does not. The only way out is to kill the program in the Task Manager. Happens with both orders save and save money, and it doesn't seem to matter where I save the file. Is interesting, except for the Web works fine.

I use Photoshop CS6 Version 13.0.1 x 64 extended on a laptop Windows 7 (Home Premium, 1 SP). Windows is fully updated.

My laptop specs are as follows:

Manufacturer and model: Acer Aspire 5742

    Processor: Intel (r) Core i3 CPU M 370 @ 2.40 GHz

Installed memory: 4.0 GB (3.68 usable)

    System type: 64-bit

Any thoughts on what could be the culprit? Does anyone else know this?

This isn't Photoshop crash report. It is a report of Windows. You see if you can retrieve an Adobe Photoshop crash report itself?

I feel that one or more of your system fonts are corrupt.

Can you verify the integrity of your fonts and delete / remove corrupt fonts and see if that makes a difference?

  • Adobe Photoshop CS6 very slow on the Type of rendering

I have a laptop with specification as mentioned below:

    Lenovo Ideapad Y470P

    • Windows 7 Ultimate x 64
    • AMD Radeon HD 7690 2 GB
    • 8. 0 GB PC3 - 10600 DDR3 SDRAM 1333 MHz
    • 750 GB 5400

I use Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64-bit) to do my job.

At the present time, I have a task to create a banner with dimension 800 x 900 cm with resolution 300 DPI and color RGB 16-bit Mode.

The size of the file when the vacuum is about 56.1 GB.

The problem is, when I add a text with the Horizontal type tool, click the tool move, appear the Type of rendering screen, and take a time very very long to finish.

I made some configurations to my Photoshop I found on the Forum from Adobe, but the problem still persists.

    Some configurations I've done is:

-Turn off automatically save it recovery information

-Set maximize PSD and PSB files for compatibility

-Set the memory to 95% usage

-Set the level of Cache to 8 and 1024K Cache tile size

-Set the Advanced Graphics Drawing Mode advanced settings, check the option use graphics processor to speed up the calculation and uncheck the anti-alias and 30-bit display

-Set the disc scratch on another partition (C:System D:PageFile E: Data F: Scratch disk)

And after all of this Setup, my Photoshop still slow when rendering Type.

Could you give me some advice to solve my problem?

    Thank you

300 dpi for a banner size is categorically not normal.  Guaranteed.

Get specific instructions of the shop that will print it.

You keep confusing ppi with dpi.  The resolution of an image file really is expressed in DPI, pixels per inch, not ""dpi ' i.e. points per inch. "  The exact terminology is:

    • DPI = dots per inch = units used to measure the resolution of a printer
    • LPI = lines per inch = offset printing 'lines' or dots per inch in a halftone or line screen.
    • PPI = Pixels per inch = the number of pixels per inch in terms of file screen/scanner.

Here is a link to a discussion which may interest you:

    k-for-print-be-done-at http://GraphicDesign.StackExchange.com/questions/487/What-PPI-should-a-large-format-Artwor

It includes the table below and subsequent comments:

"The rule is that we need 1.5 to 2 times the LPI in PPI to get acceptable results.

    "Viewing Distance   Present Study
20 feet    greater than 10 LPI
18 feet    18.75 LPI or greater
16 feet    18.75 LPI or greater
14 feet    37.5 LPI or greater
12 feet    37.5 LPI or greater
10 feet    50 LPI or greater
8 feet     65 LPI or greater
6 feet     85 LPI or greater
4 feet     100 LPI or greater
2 feet     133 LPI or greater
1 foot     150 LPI or greater
6 inches   150 LPI or greater

"No doubt, for a banner 3 m x 5 m, that would be at least, say, 10 feet. (Just the eye or the wall here). So, by this table, you will need 50 minimum BVG. That would mean that your raster graphics should be about 100 PPI or 75 PPI at 12-14 feet. Given this and the fact that x 2 LPI is conservative enough for the faithfulness of reproduction (often 1.5xLPI is 'enough'), this is in agreement with [the data] advice from 75 DPI is acceptable. »

Talk to your printer.  I suspect they'll want a card at the address under 75 dpi, or even much less.  Follow the advice/request to the printer.

  • I'm in Lightroom 5.7 and I'm trying to 'Edit in Adobe Photoshop CS6' but it is grayed out.

Straight to the point, I discovered that most of my catalogs are able to access this feature and other catalogues, do it grey. I deleted the com.adobe.Photoshop.plist and restarted Lightroom and Photoshop. I reinstalled Lightroom and Photoshop CS6 and them was updated. Yet, I can't get this feature running for all of my catalogs. The last option I want to do is recreate my catalog from scratch and lose all my virtual copies and modifications. I find it interesting that some catalogs are able to see 'Edit in Adobe Photoshop CS6' and some may not.

  • Photoshop CS6 independent: impossible to choose the installation directory (El Capitan w House separate folder on SSD)

I had to do a fresh install of El Capitan and am reinstalling all software (sigh).

My folder is located in a separate DSS (and not on the boot drive). I want to have all my applications in the folder of the startup disk, not in the folder/applications in my home folder.

When I run Photoshop CS6 setup the 'Location' field is set on / applications of the startup disk.

BUT what's really weird is that when I press on install, the software however ends in the folder/Applications my HOME of RECORD page.

What the hell is happening here? I tried three times, thinking at first I just took the wrong folder/applications, but now I see it, it's as if the record of / applications starting is wired into the installer somehow.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions

    Hi Richard,

In the case of a Mac machine the default location for all applications is Applications folder, if case you want to change this location, you will need to contact the Apple support, as they can help you change the default location.

To check and confirm whether or not it is installed on your boot drive, you can view the Application Support folder of your system library and if you see the folder of Photoshop in there it means that it is installed on your startup disk.

Location: right-click on the icon in the Finder and select the option to ' Go-To ' records. You will get a text box, type in the command below and then press the 'return ':

/ Library (It will open file System Library)

Then go to The Application Support > Adobe

Let us know if that helps.
