  Hi all

  I'm new to photoshop plugin sdk and I would like to know if it is possible to create c ++ plugin that will bring the new Panel of photoshop.

  I created plugin for InDesign. This plugin is a dockable panel with a web browser on it. Now, I would do the same for photoshop, but the documentation says that there are only 10 types of plugins that I can create:

  Automation,

  Color picker,

  Export,

  Filter,

  Format,

  Battery converter,

  Import,

  Measure,

  Selection,

  3D.

  None of this is designed to prepare a dockable panel as 'Color' Panel integrated. It is very strange I think. I also noticed that photoshop plugin sdk weighs much less than indesign plugin sdk.

  Could someone help me understand how to make plugin with dockable panel for photoshop? Where can I find the documentation for it? Thank you!

• Why Photoshop plugins not available when I open an image in Lightroom and select "Edit in Photoshop?

  Photoshop plugins are no longer available when I bring a picture in Photoshop from Lightroom.  When I work on an image in Lightroom and select "Edit in Photoshop", the image opens in Photoshop, but all Photoshop plugins are not available and, in fact, do not appear in Photoshop under filter at all.  However, when I open a picture directly in Photoshop, all plugins are available.  Why plugins suddenly vanish when putting an image in Photoshop from Lightroom?  I hope someone is able to help me fix this problem.  I am under Lightroom, Photoshop CS6 13.0.6 on OS X 10.10.5 6.3.

  I posted this question on the forums for PS and LR because I'm unsure as to who might be more appropriate.  I only experience this problem when making an image in Photoshop from Lightroom.

  There are commercial Photoshop actions available for this type of effect, if you search on GraphicRiver Photoshop-> Actions-> and then do a search for 'Paint' within these results. Here is an example:

  I am not affiliated with that one either by the way, I just did a quick search there and it was one of the first results. You can also find people offering similar actions for free, you can follow step by step and see how it's done.

  Today I installed CC (Photoshop and reflux) trial version. After that, Im manually install 'Edge of reflow CC CC Photoshop Plugin'. The plugin content is copied in the PS file.

  

  But the new synchronization features has not been added to the applications.

  Could you please check the version of Photoshop?  In Photoshop, go to the Help menu and select about Photoshop...   In the dialog box, it will say 'Version' followed the version #.  The reflow PS plugin is enabled in Version 14.1.

  If you have a lower version, as the Version 14.0, please close Photoshop and open the Adobe Creative Cloud application and click on the "Applications" tab  If you see an update for Photoshop here, please install it.  If not, please stop creative cloud (select the icon "gear" in the top right of the cloud of Creative and choose leave CC).  Then restart creative cloud, and I hope that the update for Photoshop will be available.

  If this does not resolve the problem, please respond here and we'll look for a new resolution.  Sorry it doesn't work for you immediately!

  I'm looking for a plugin or script to collect books from framemaker 10 or 11 with files, fonts, images etc. ? ("Collect for output" I believe it was called...) I am aware of the plugin by Bruce Foster, but I think that this does not work for these new versions of Framemaker. Can anyone help?

  I won't show my custom in the menu of PhotoShop plugin name. I commented the line below in the resource file:

  If I comment that line the plugin does not appear. But y at - it no other flag I put if I don't want my plugin appears in the menu of Photoshop?

  -Have there been recent changes made on the computer before the show?

  If you have 64-bit Windows, please follow these instructions to install plug-ins in Photoshop:

  If you use Photoshop CS4 - CS6 64-bit on Windows 64-bit:

  a. copy the files with the ending _64.8bf in the plug-in folder of Photoshop CS4 - CS6. For example, to add the coloring plugin for Photoshop CS5:

  b. copy Coloriage_64.8bf into the corresponding folder C:\Program Files (x 86) \AKVIS\Coloriage in the Photoshop Plug-ins folder: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit) \Plug-ins\

  c. then re - open Photoshop and check how the plugin works.

  If you use Photoshop CS4 - CS6 32-bit on Windows 64-bit:

  a. copy the files with the .8bf ending in the plug-in folder of Photoshop CS4 - CS6.

  For example, Coloriage.8bf to the folder C:\Program Files (x 86) \AKVIS\Coloriage corresponding to the Photoshop Plug-ins folder: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Plug-ins\

  b. then re - open Photoshop and check how the plugin works.

  Note: If you set the additional Plug-ins folder in Photoshop (using the command Edit-> preferences-> Plug-Ins), to add the path to a folder with plug-ins in Photoshop 32-bit on Windows 64-bit, you can get an error from Photoshop, it does not know this kind of file. Happens if the record contains a plug-in 64-bit. Photoshop 32 bit try to download, but may not recognise.

  To remove this error message just remove the 64-bit file in the folder used as the additional Plug-ins folder in Photoshop preferences. If you are using Photoshop 32 bit you need not file 64-bit.

• All Photoshop plugins have a yellow cast / sepia

  I just installed Photoshop CC on my new computer, and then after a reboot, installed the Nik and the collection of Topaz Labs.

  When I want to use the plugin filters, rendered images have a very yellow distribution / sepia. Menu and title bar - everything, EXCEPT the images are of the appropriate color.

  If I convert an image to black and white using Nik or "Topaz", the final result presented in Photoshop is correct. The yellow cast is ONLY in the images on the screens of the plugin.

  I'm about to reinstall Photoshop. Reinstall the plugins showed no change in the symptom.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  Have you tried to set the monitor to sRGB profile?

  It could be that this is due to a faulty monitor profile - 10 Windows sometimes installs bad manufacturers profiles and defines them as default.

  If the Setup in sRGB solves the problem, you should ideally calibrate the monitor with a standard material.

  Press the Windows key + R, type colorcpl, and then press ENTER.

  Add the sRGB profile, and then set as default profile. See screenshot (from Windows 7) below.

  Select more than one layer requires the action handler code. the DOM can not do and is slower anyway. If you use scriptlistener works, here's what you should go with.

  There is a forum script that you should ask.  When ask you the question and provide more information on what you doing.  Do you want to create a shape layer, you must add a solid color fill layer and add the path that you created to the as a vector mask.  If you fill out the pat area in the active layer to convert the path to a selection and fill the selection.

  You can also set the path in a custom form, and then add a custom shape layer.
