  Just to let you know that my problem disappeared when I upgraded to Eclipse (from 3.4 to 3.5).

  Seems the Blackberry Pack repository is not so compatible with previous versions of the eclipse...

  I'm trying to debug my app on a 9530 BB, and there the 4.7.0.167 software version. I get two errors that this guy is, but there is no 4.7.0.167 simulator version - closest is 4.7.0.181. Since I am not able to upgrade my OS to 5.0 version, I always use the 4.7.0. *.

  The first time I run Debug as > BlackBerry device Eclipse, my program downloads to the phone and I can launch successfully without any problems.

  If I try to run a second time, the device - reset hard. It's a very long edit/compile/run cycle (up to 2 minutes for a full reset) and I don't think that this should be the case.

  You specify your proxy when you try to create a command-line debugging token?  What is the error you're seeing?

• Broken debugging via IDE

  I've developed using the SDK 10.2.  A few days ago, I downloaded the SDK 10.3.

  Unfortunately, when I tried to launch my app, it would break not immediately, or sometimes a second or two after opening. Debugging doesn't seem to work.

  Given this failure, I decided that I would stick to 10.2 for now.

  I edited my project preferences to use 10.2, did a clean build, started the Simulator 10.2 and ran my app.

  Now my application crashed immediately at startup, or sometimes after a few seconds. (while he was sitting on the screen do not nothing)

  When I run it in debug mode, the app seems to start (the black screen of 'Blackberry 10'), but the IDE is there forever and never actually initializes the debug.  The "Debug" mode is completely empty.  Here is a screenshot.

  Your Z10 also runs BlackBerry 10.3?  If this isn't the case, you must use the SDK 10.2.  The SDK version must be equal to or lower than the version of the OS.

  Both devices were connected simultaneously (WiFi device and Simulator directly)?  If so which could explain it.  Or do you mean that you have had your device connected via the USB port, but the app could not launch until you have turned off WiFi?

  I'm currently developing the eclipse + component 4.5 BB, you have the problem when going through the debug mode.

  When I run 'debug', I saw a lot of message in the window of the console and BB Simulator also lights up, but I can not use those debug command, such as intervention,... etc, they are disabled.

  My helloworld can run on this Simulator.

  In my view, is not a turn on the debug feature, but have no idea to get it resolved.

• Impossible to debug in Eclipse

  I'm trying to debug an application in a true smart phone BlackBerry. I use Eclipse for a 8703e with OS 4.2.1.110.

  When I run the debug option, he tell me that I lack the net_rim_app_manager.debug file. I saw on the forum I need to navigate to the folder of the Simulator and select the correct file. I tried with all version of Simulator and Eclipse always telling me that I don't have the right file. I've read elsewhere that I need the exact os version of the Simulator, but there is no RIM Web site. I use the 4.1.0.359 version so that the Simulator for the 8703e.

  If I ignore the error message, as I read in another post, debugging starts, but my breakpoints doesn't work.

  What can I do? Any ideas? I really need to debug on the real device, cause all works on the Simulator, but I have problem in the actual device.

  I found the problem! The version was not quite the same thing (only an IP in a change of HttpConnection) so the debugger do not stop.

  For all the people who have this problem, make sure you have the exact same version of the application installed and use in Eclipse (do not add a space online!).

  This message appears when I try to debug a procedure of the SQL Developer. I have concluded that the database cannot connect to the debugger on my pc for to proceed with debugging. I have security problems in our network for open access on the database side to my pc.

  Oracle has put this question in concern the preparation of the debugger? Is there a way to set the debugging procedures and functions to be server-side? or suggestions to work around the security concerns.

  N.B.:

  1. Toad both server-side options, and client-side debugging
  2. There are a lot of request for access will be issued to allow the databases to connect to client computers and it is an application of type of unreasonable for people to safety.

  I opened my pc access over the network to the database, so now the database can connect to my sql developer debugger when you are debugging.

  I have an application in which I use Java for elements of database as abstract objects and handle most of the processing on the server side. This is done by creating a Java via CreateObject() object. The Java then connects to a MS SQL 2005 database using the JDBC 1.1 driver.

  In my case the problem was caused by multiple NICs on my development machine.
  ORA_DBMS_JDWP has been set at ip_address of wireless adapter which was on the other network segment as the oracle server.
  Rotation of the wifi adapter and then restart visual studio solved the problem.

  If you are using vmware workstation that ora_dbms_jdwp can also be assigned to the IP address of the virtual map of vmware.

  Hi all

  Greetings to you.

  I am a little new app bb10 development and try to develop an app my application has modules that runs as a service and a module that uses this service every time that it is run.

  After running my service when I run my other module to use the service, nothing happens. so I wonder if we have some debugging method/tool/solution workaround available for debugging this type of scenario to understand what is happening and where the guilty are in my application.
