• Page view initial Overide w / download?

  Hello

  I'm having a problem with my initial page display settings. I put them in two places (cover page) I can see very well as can some of my colleagues that I sent. Now, the problem occurs once I have download the spread on our ftp site and try to download on our website (as our customers will have to do). Once downloaded, it is by default only. Someone at - it the same problem?

  Open settings: 'Restore last view' is not clicked on

  I have cleared my cache

  I have created a book using blurb for InDesign template. After finishing the book, I exported to PDF and I wanted to see on my laptop and iPad, but Acrobat displays only two page mode (the 'spread' like InDesign refers to it).

  I tried a vew options in Acrobat whose unique page view but so far, have not been able to make it work. In addition, although I chose the option in Acrobat to have a space exposed between pages when you view pages 2, space still does not show.

  Any ideas as to how this can be accomplished?

  I need to be able to see this PDF on both instead of page 2 page spread as Acrobat displays now.

  If the InDesign layout uses pages face to face and you have selected "spread" in the export to PDF dialog box, then that's what you get - pages in the PDF file with the imposition of two places. Change the display in Acrobat mode has no effect, you need to re-export from InDesign with the double option off.

  several ways to do this... one way is to cut the section is based in the arrange window and use them gaps to show this gap as remnants or hide personnel. You can use regions muted in exactly the same way, if you choose...

  Below shows the two staves to measure 13...  They were cut out of the arrange window and I can have them appear in the staff or not based on the box fill up the gaps.

  

• Can I lock in a zoom level (e.g. Page View), so it won't change?

  I wonder if there is a way to prevent Adobe Reader to change my zoom level.  I prefer to read with equal zoom level to move Page.  Each time I click a bookmark to jump to another page in the document, the zoom level changes to adjust the width (I think).  This is extremely annoying because I have to continue to change the view back to the Page to adjust.  In preferences, I put the zoom by default for the Page Fit, but who determines how it happens at the start.  When I click on a bookmark, it changes again.

  I do not understand why the zoom changes when you click on a bookmark at all.  Why would I want the zoom to change about me?

  FYI, I use reader XI (11.0.08).

  With the help of Acrobat (not the free Adobe Reader) you can set the expansion of the page (and many other things) for bookmarks, links, annotations of comment and more.
  So using Acrobat (but not the free Adobe Reader) you can create bookmarks.

  Need to know about Adobe Reader:

  The free software Adobe Reader cannot create PDF.
  The free software Adobe Reader cannot export the contents of a PDF page.
  The free software Adobe Reader cannot manipulate the content of a PDF page or add/remove features like links, bookmarks, etc..

  Acrobat help you will need to configure the properties of bookmarks to provide the magnification of desire page / page view.
  Sometimes place a feature (bookmark, whatever) translates to a default setting that you may need to reconfigure back in the properties of the feature dialog box.

  Remember, at its core, that adobe Reader is a "viewer".

• JavaScript to add dialogue 'Specify the preference open' when linking with "go to a page view".

  Hi all!

  We will need to file a brief with the Tribunal.  In our brief .pdf, we connect to the exhibitions and transcripts.

  For exhibitions, we hyperlink to help "open a file" because the first page of the piece is very well.  Here, after selecting the files, we have given the 'Specify Open preference' dialog box, where you can (a) go with the user setting, (b) mandate to open the link in the same window, or (c) mandate to open the link in a new window.  It's perfect - we always want a new window.

  However, for the transcripts, we need to go to a particular page, so we use "Go to a page view".  It works fine, except that it's ALWAYS and ONLY with the preference of the user.  We want it ALWAYS and ONLY open in a new window, so that the Court can close the destination and be in the same place in the Source doc.  I realize that they can set their preferences or use "return to the previous display", but we can't really communicate that.

  Is there a javascript - or a plug-in, we can buy - or anything - that somehow we will set "Go to a page view" open in a new window?

  After clicking on the tab Actions, you will see the action "go to a page in another document" you set up. Select it and click on Edit button and you will see the above dialog box.

  The solution is on the side of InDesign since what appears to be two pages is really a single page in the PDF file. Export as single pages, no gaps. For example: http://indesignsecrets.com/interactive-pdf-from-indesign-cs5-always-has-spreads-on.php

• HUGE default page view

  Just installed Firefox for Windows8. The default page view is, I guess, 140%. In fact, I have to zoom out to get to a normal size. Is there any sort of SETTINGS that will allow me to set a smaller default view for web pages?

  Reset the zoom of page on pages that are causing problems.

  I would like to know if there is any way to count the clicks on a link within an application (link to page), or count page views. I saw the feature "click the account" in the Navigation list, but it only mentions the click to an external page. A mysterious "Z" is alos mentioned in the online help, but I couldn't find in the documentation of the API.

  I found no mention of this on the forum possibiliy.

  I'm under APEX 5.0.3.

  Use the information in the view APEX_ACTIVITY_LOG to control the use of the application. You should capture the required information in the views in your own tables APEX custom on a daily basis, using a scheduled task. I would like to set the page to scroll as a parameter instead of what we call 'page view' by default. Is it possible somehow? It's annoying when I scroll the page down with my mouse and page changes.

  You could launch the PDF > Navigate to Edit > Preferences > Page Display > Set automatic Page layout.

  Click OK and see if that solves the purpose.

  Just installed Acrobat DC Pro (Mac OS 10.10.2) and to change the light grey background for a dark gray standard page views but see no way to do it. Preferences are only the background color for the full screen display, display standard of the tools, menu, etc. The screen is too bright.

  Update Acrobat DC published today (May 10, 2016) introduced a new darker theme. Please open Acrobat DC application and select help > check for updates to apply the latest update (2015.016.20039).

  Then go to view > screen theme > dark grey and restart Acrobat.
