Play recordings of RTC on endpoints.

Hi all

I read the user guide for the CTS, it seems that we cannot play recordings of content server on H.323/SIP endpoints.

(As you know that we read on endpoints using the VCR-intellectual property)

Can we play recordings on PC, Mac or iPad?

Best regards

Kotaro Hashimoto

Hi Kotaro - for playback of Content Server to endpoints, to enable the feature requires resolution Premium option key on the content server in order to activate the function.  If you have it, you can set this in the site settings page.

View recordings from an endpoint

Happy recording, made with 5.0 Server can be viewed on an endpoint using a H.323 ID reading or recording of your endpoint E.164 alias. Addresses of reading records are posted on the registration page of change and the e-mail sent from the content server when a call is completed.

To enable playback on a resolution Premium content server, the Site managers must first enter a prefix reading H.323 or E.164 gateway in Management > Configuration > Site Settings.

To enable playback automatically for new records created with your personal check aliases, change your alias record, and then select make finished recording available for play on the endpoints.

To read an existing record of an endpoint, by selecting record available to play on the endpoints in the record set on the endpoints of the registration page Edit section and save. Read your record address appears below the option you just buy.

If you read your recordings on the endpoints that support the presentation, you can switch between layouts. You can pause and resume playback by pressing any key DTMF.

Reading from endpoints is available for H.323 and interworking calls only, with a maximum of two calls by content server.

  • TCS recorded video playback using video endpoint

    Hello

I've deployed a Telepresence from Cisco Content Server (TCS 5.3) and met with problem regarding on how to play videos recorded by video endpoint.

Under modify records, I don't see an option or the option 'Make check-in available for play on the endpoints '.

Referring on the Administrator's guide TCS it is said that "If this box is not on the page of registration of amendment, a site Content Server Manager has not configured the prefixes necessary to an alias of reading E.164 and H.323 reading ID to communicate with a site manager for more information. What does that mean?

And where I can configure the reading reading alias/H323 ID?

The TCS is registered as SIP and H323 (E.164) on the control of VCS.

Recorded content have been updated with the recording of "publish".

Thank you very much for the help.

    Best regards

    Acevirgil

    You must do the following:

Key 'Premium résolution' option must be installed.

Record configuration, see the Site settings, such as 'Bridge', not 'Terminal '.

Enter the prefixes to use for recording, and also for playback, it may not be the same.

Note that prefix of reading options will be unavailable unless the resolution option key Premium is installed.

Also note the playback using the SIP is not supported at this stage.

  • Error in Duplication of blackBerry Smartphones

When I try to sync my Curve 8310 vs 4.2.2 he begins to play recordings on the calendar.  After reading the he come and told duplicates found on the device.  Any suggestions on what to try?

The conflict is associated calendar that I presume?

There is another option of synchronization - lying which is to replace the data.  In this case, since your Outlook is updated, you can perhaps try overwrite the data of your mobile phone.  What happens to this option, it is that it is not a conflict resolution - you are erasing the phone and replace it with Outlook data.  This will overwrite the current schedule phone completely (and contacts and etc..)!

If this does not work, then you will probably need take a screenshot of the error and send it across to the Blackberry support.

  • I can't play movies remotely. Is it a question of copy protection?

    original title: WMC

On one of my remote laptops, I can see and play all the TV recordings except movies.  Is this a copyright thing or what?  Is it possible to play movies recorded?

LOLz.  Happy that you got including (and it was simple.)

To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to read a disk (on the server) to a client.  But, you can play torn discs.
Some MC users swear by the media browser for this purpose; others swear by MyMovies.  I like MyMovies.  I have installed on my main MC client/server and the client installed on my desktop & laptop.  I can manage the collection of any one of them and all my rips play on any of the three, as well as my two Xbox 360 (running as Extenders to the main MC.)

Now, tear may be a bit of an art (and there are a lot of personal preference, too.)  I rip a movie (main title only, w / English 5.1 or better acoustics) using DVDFab (free); I then point video again (currently 75 $US for Suite TV, you need to do this) at the level of the rip and that convert DVR - MS.  In this way, I maintain full compatibility with all what I use and keep the FF/Rew features on the extensions.

You can rip & convert to many other formats (AVI, WMV, or leave as mi/gal) with other (and free) tools; but Extenders are limited in what they can play natively (or, with playback controls complete.)

  • Windows Media Player 11 has stopped playing some of my MP3s. Any ideas on how to solve this?

I have a desktop Dell Dimension running XP. I uninstalled Real Player and Rhapsody, just in case they were causing problems, but that did not work.

    Here is what I noticed:

WMP plays still files were extracted a CD, the songs that were purchased from Amazon, but not:

-The MP3s that have been purchased by third parties (for example, recordings of teleseminar I bought

-Downloaded free MP3s (once again the teleseminar recordings)

-WMA files that I downloaded (records of my seminars)

All this has played before. I can't put my finger when he started, although I think that things started to get weird when I downloaded itunes months ago, but I don't remember this particular problem from this time.

I searched the Web for similar positions, but found none.

So... any suggestions would be most appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    Hello OutbackDAL,

Thank you for your message.  There is an option in iTunes to convert all the songs to the .aac format.  This might be the reason why you are not able to play in Media Player, because this format is not supported in Media Player 11.  Right click on one of the songs that can not play and check the format of the song.  If the song is the .aac format, you will need to convert it to another compatible format or .mp3.  If the song is already in a readable format, you can watch download or install a new Codec.  Sometimes, they have several players (that is to say real, Rhapsody, iTunes, etc.) can damage your Codec.  You can get the Windows Media Player Codec from the link below.
Please let us know if it did or did not help to solve your problem.

  • Pavilion G6: Registered host will not play DVD

I've been recording videos on DVD RW disks that play fine on the DVD player but I can't play on my laptop running Windows 8.1 (or an older Office XP).   I checked all drivers etc and saying up to date and work and although I'm not technical interested believe that it is possibly a compatibility issue?    I checked the properties for the drive and with the disc, it is show that nothing out there but it is certainly as it plays on the DVD player!   When I try to play on the media player on the desktop, it says ' insert disk ' (the disc is!) and on computer portable Cyberlink DVD player is saying the same thing.  I downloaded VLC and that says: cannot read the disc.  I tried to find the answer on the internet but nothing seems to quite answer my problem... it was suggested to make sure discs are finalized after recording, but this is done automatically and confirms this title so I know it is not that.   In the end, I want to get on DVD recordings saved on the laptop so that I can modify it them and record clips of little bits of sequences of each disc so any help would be appreciated.

    Edit # 3
I turned on the power and everything started working as usual.
except that I still have the problem of keyboard.
    Thank you

I guess the problem with the Windows Audio endpoint builder, it's that you have disabled the Windows on Windows 7 power management.  For some reason, the audio services cannot start if power management is disabled.

I was going to install the software for my UPS APC power management and requires that the Windows power management is disabled.  I disabled the service and rebooted the system and noticed that the audio services is not started.  You try to start their hand gave the errors you mentioned.  When I started the service of power management, I was able to start audio services.

Microsoft does not mark as services that depend on it, but there is a relationship.  I know that in Windows 7, which they said he optimized use of energy for the audio and I guess audio services are looking at power management to see what type of profile is in use.  Because power management does not work, it is unavailable and terminate the audio services.  Again, this is just a guess, and I can't find definitive answers to this topic.

  • Users hear MoH when RTC hang up communication

IP phones begin play at the Ministry of health when the PSTN phone hangs up. After hearing the Department of health for about 10 seconds, the call disconnects.

The system is CUCM v10.5.1. The PSTN gateway is a 2951 (IOS 15.4 (3) M) with T1 - PRI related CUCM by SIP trunk.

If the call comes from PSTN internal IP Phone, then RTC hang up, IP phones will hear the Department of health for 10 seconds. Wireshark on phone shows that the Sub CUCM sends a guest of the SIP - SDP Protocol to the IP phone. It gets finally a BYE 10 seconds later.

If the call is launched with phone IP and PSTN hang up, then call end as usual. Wireshark shows that the CUCM subscriber sends a SIP BYE on the phone.

In both cases, debug the CCSIP Messages on the bridge which shows the gateway sending a SIP BYE to the Subscriber and the Sub you immediately respond with OK

SIP Trunk gateway and phone enter the same peripheral pool CUCM and Subscriber. Device pool has MRGL with the MTP software and hardware. This happens with SIP and SCCP phones. I'm not requiring the SIP Trunk to use MTP

    Any ideas?

    Thank you, Randy

    Hello

Is the phone you are calling is added as a remote destination on CUCM for unique number?

According to the guides of the options:

When the remote destination is hung up, Cisco Unified Communications Manager puts the related state of hold office phone, allowing the user to resume the call by pressing the resume button.

  • Media Center won't play recorded video

All my recordings are protected recorded video HBO on my hard drive of the PC. When I read them to my PC using Windows Media center only monitor, all play. Charles, I looked towards the top of the map that you said that you used in the first thread you

    HDCP is consistent.

I read a few pages of the magazine for this device on Amazon. Most people

    not HDCP.
