Playin ' to the background sounds

When you watch videos (like you tube or flash media) you sometimes hear touches of piano in the background every now and then.i know it's a notification from my PC of is something high. but when you minimize the screen to show the desktop, there is no window open with the notice. What is happening with this?

The problem disappear when you put the computer in a clean boot state?

If so, one of running programs is the origin of the problem and you will need to follow the steps to identify that one.

If you do not yet, what did a clean boot is disable all non-microsoft services and all startup programs to see if one of them is causing the problem.

You want to completely remove audio or you want to keep your audio files and only to remove some unwanted background noise in it? To get rid completely of audio, do what Dave has suggested. For only getting rid of background noise, send the first clip to the hearing and to experiment with noise reduction capabilities.

But the problem is when the user back to the previous page, the sound does not play. Anyone knows how to wow the background when the user returns without any power button etc.? Thanks in advance!

    mySound.play ();

  • Start the background sound on slide 4

I want to have the background on my Captivate 5.5 project, and audio needs a loop thoughout the project. But I don't want to start playing until the slide 4. Is it possible to do it, maybe with tip action?

There is an audio accordion in the properties of the slide.  I haven't opened it yet, but I think that he has 'stop the background.'  I used it before you stop the background music when I have voice on and then let it resume later.

  • iMovie adjust the background sound for a clip?

Using iMovie 10.1.1 I can't adjust the sound down to a clip. I used to be able to define markers on the soundtrack, and between the markers I could drag the volume bar upwards or downwards. Is he past?

    Can not believe it...

No, it's still possible.   Make a selection from the soundtrack (can be attached or detached from the video) then adjust the position of the black line horizontal volume:

It is the spirit after recording a few words

Hey! :) right click on the speaker in the taskbar button. Click recording devices. Double click on the microphone inside. Then you should see a checkbox that says enable audio enhancements. I know I've seen somewhere that I could check things like "bass boost, noise reduction, etc.". But I can't remember where, unless I see more... but it's what the audio accessory... so, it should reduce the noise. :)

  • How to leave the background sound?

    Hello world

I chose accidentally Audio > record for > slide background. I just wanted to select slide. Is there a way to exit this window without Force Quiting Captivate? I did a lot of work and that you have not saved recently.

Here is a screenshot of the window that is displayed. I didn't have it at all.

    Help, please!

You can usually hit the keyboard ESC key to exit a dialog box.  However if you do you will lose any audio signal you may be saved in this window.

Your screenshot of dialogue does not appear to display the usual buttons at the bottom that allow you to record audio or close the dialog box.  What happens if you click on the tab change?  That gives you options to save the audio recorded and close the dialog box.

  • Cut the background noise but keeping the narrative

    Hi people,

I know I can create an audio mute with Actions button but I can put up an act conditional that will cut only the background sound (music, for example) but keep the blade and the sound object play?

    See you soon

    Steve

You can not exclusively mute background music, but you can stop the background sound on a slide with a narrative (audio slide) or audio of the object.

  • Disable the background audio when entering the slide

I put a check mark on stop the background sound to a slide. However, if a person continues forward and then return to the slide, the background sound plays. I want to have one on enter Action that will prevent this situation. Does anyone know if there is a way to stop the background sound in an action on enter?

There are audio slide in the slide, so I won't stop completely all the sound elements, just the background sound when a person returns to the slide again.

Publication corrects the problem. Thanks for your help.

  • Import the background music for the first slide

I imported a background music, but I need only for the first slide. It should be an introdcutory with music background and recorded spoken text flashfilm.

How can I limit background music to the first (and last) slide only?

    Thank you, Miriam

    Hello

Rather than import the background sound try importing audio to the slide. If you are using Captivate 4 or 5, you will then have an option for audio looping. This will allow you to have the loop on any number of individual slides. In your case, the first, and last slides.

I saw a demo in Adobe Help Viewer 2 for adding background sound to a slide. I had to use the menu item "Movie. However I don't have a 'film' menu item The name of the application in the demo is "macromedia Captivate. Is this another application? I've searched for macromedia captivate on the Adobe site, but did not find.

    Hello

Macromedia Captivate would have indeed been version 1. We are now up to version 4 and Adobe is now owner of Captivate because they acquired Macromedia years.

If you want to add the background sound, click the Audio menu and select Background Audio.
