  I'm developing a simple program where you enter 2 vertical sliders on a XY chart by selecting coordinates X and then it should highlight in yellow the area between the two mentioned sliders.

  The issue I'm having, is that even if the program is inspired by the square on the graph, there is a shift, which I can't get rid. I checked the input coordinates to draw the square and they seem correct, however, the gap is still there...

  Well, I found the reason. To eliminate the offset, you must get the graph XY plot area limits and subtract 'top' and 'left' your coordinate of the cursor values

  I wonder if there is anyway to put a background to a xygraph which is independent of the plotted data. The purpose of my request is to draw a map (background) on which I can trace some POI can I remove whitout photography card reloading.

  Or. Focus on the PlotImages.Back property.  You can read an image using BMP/JPG/PNG screw reading, Pixmap.vi of Flattened draw used to create the image and which thread to the property node.

  I use the XY graph to display GPS data, XY graph also displays a map that is be pre-processed using vision functions to display a correct part of the image data, climb the ladder etc.

  Rather than drawing in the PlotImage of the XY graph, have you tried to make the transparent XY graph (which includes both the background of the chart and also control encompassing) and placing it in front of a screen of Vision?  Then, you will not need conversion.  I have not tried, so I don't know if there may be problems with the speed of drawing, flicker or aliasing, but it might be interesting to try.

• Refining circular cropping a graph of intensity

  I am trying to create a more efficient and friendly programmer to circular harvest a graph of intensity. Currently I can crop the graphic with a matlab script but try to improve the process. I would like to be able to say where the image will be cropped before executing the command. My solution was to place an invisible plot with the same scale above the graph which can draw a circle around the area to crop. As you can imagine, aligning these graphs is boring and does not lend to rearraging my vi. I'm looking for a better way to draw a circle/say where it is harvested beforehand.

  This is a relatively simple method by using the PlotImage property and a slider.
