• Meeting by videoconference on TMS portal user - Questions

  Hello community,

  We have Cisco TMS 14.6 and we use for planning of video-conference sessions.

  I'm just curious with the other feature when you use the portal user to TMS during the creation of calendar.

  1. under additional settings > Meeting Agenda, if I put something in this what are the expected results? Does show the message on the screen of endpoints that was planned for this specific video conference? What is the purpose of this?

  2. how to PIN meeting? End points automatically composed will be should enter the PIN once the Conference begins? Or it is used to dial in participants only? Please explain.

  3. What about the billing Code? What is the purpose of this service and how we use it?

  MSD sends the invitation to the Conference in person, Conference planning, while the user will transmit this invitation to all those who need it.  E-mail templates are configured by default for you, you can change the different models of e-mail following your needs if you choose to do under administrative tools > Configuration > edit the e-mail templates, refer to the section "Email Templates" in the administration of TMS 14.6 Guide starting on pg 73.

  You can add endpoints CUCM managed in TMS, the admin Guide "adding Unified CM and endpoints registered" starting from the pg 268.  If you aren't able to add endpoints, it would be possible that TMS will have to be updated to support these points of termination.

  One thing to consider too is CWA (Central Web Auth) instead of what you are doing is LWA (Local Web Auth). It's always better to CWA, there are many benefits to it.

• Cisco TMS 14.5, some user is not currently unavailable

  Hi team,

  Our portal user TMS does not, when using https://TMSSERVER/tms/booking. It is giving error that "the TMS user portal is currently unavailable. "Please try again later". Even on the web page administrative MSDS MSDS portal user icon is not available. Please advise what can be the reason.

  It does not have the TMSPE, but TMSXE, we installed on the same server TMS.

  You're arbitration to the booking of TMS admin page, or user portal (aka TMS Planner)?  If it's the Planner TMS portal and not the booking page admin, which was deleted in TMS 14.2 and replaced by what is called "Smart Scheduler" in TMSPE 1.0 - see the release notes below.  You will need to install TMSPE to use and requires no license to install or use.

  Recently upgraded from a previous version of TMS to 14.5, and that's when you noticed the portal icon was missing?  If so, what version you are migrating from?

• Hide portals TMS (Smart Scheduler or FindMe) Options

  What determines which of two Smart Scheduler and FindMe options in the TMS portal users can see?  I had not connected with a user who has absolutely no permissions set within TMS, and they could see Smart Scheduler, however it wrong on when I clicked it.  Is there a way to hide the smart Planner and only show FindMe or choose what users can see two options?

  I don't think it's possible. All users can see both, but (from TMS 14.3.2) only users that are part of a group that has

  'Booking'-> 'Misc'-> 'Booking' permissions in TMS can plan actually by using Smart Scheduler.

  In Oracle Portal, users are not users of the database. They are called light users and are defined in the server of unique access code.

  You can use the Portal accounts or sleep to connect. Note that this portal is not the same as the portal user database. The password for the portal and sleep is the same as your ias_admin password.

  You can create new accounts in the application oiddas: http://:/oiddas. Replace and with the name of the server and port of your infrastructure.

• Cisco VCS does not show the user account option

  We have 7.2 VCS server control, I'm not able to see the option of user account under maintenance-Login accounts. Please advise.

  We don't have find me and TMS provisioing Extension service license, don't you think that's the reason.

  I just started my first deployment of VCS, MCU and TMS and I must add customer movie, cisco Jabber video for Ipad and integrtaion with CUCM. CUCM has some end points of polycom and C40 and C60.

  You precious advice will give me comfort during this deployment.

  It's probably because that VCS runs in TMS PE commissioning mode, in which FindMe is managed by the portal user in TMS, meaning there is no need to set up the maintenance > logins on the VCS.

  Edit: You added information that you do not have the keys option Device Provisioning and FindMe. Because user names relate directly to FindMe, the absence of an option key FindMe would explain also unable to see maintenance > login accounts > user accounts.

• Portal provider does not

  I have posted 2 other themes on the portal, have received emails that they are on sale, but they are not displayed on the AppWorld, is there a channel that I can use to this address with portal provider? or the AppWorld store manager? To add to that, I can post is no longer request of sale from the vendor portal, because the links on this page do not respond to the click, I don't get a message or the success error response "nothing happens" when I click. I think that RIM should have a link or a way to receive responses with questions like these to the supplier portal users... It's really discouraging perfected me to a device and the brand I love somuch!... I have 12 requests more I hesitate to present due to this challenge.

  I'm going to try from another browser, I use IE and Navigator devices (9800), I'm going to reformat my phone as well, and give it a go, thanks!... will let you know more.

• What is the meaning of 'Support user' in vCAC 6.0

  Hello

  I wonder vCAC 6.0 there is no 'Support user' feature where the group administrator can impersonate the user account and audit logs or other specific problems of the user.

  Is there any configuration, I'm missing, or this feature is taken out of VCAC coz I have found no information I have documentation as well...

  When you connect to the portal user management, it is said in the name of in the top right box where you can choose the user you need to impersonate.

  Or by deploying the machine, there is a field that said owner where you can select any user in this group of companies and deploy the machine for them.

• Unable to access Mirage file Portal

  This is the GUID of resourceType. If you create a global assets in s8bba98ff_4cbb_40b8_beee_296c916a23ed keep the default GUID provided by DesignWebCenterSpaces.

  For the new folder structure created for the assets, for example \DesignWebCenterSpaces\WebCenterSpacesResources\public_html\oracle\webcenter\siteresources\scopedMD\\siteTemplate\

  One option is to get the first Template_GUID is to create a Page template locally on your portal at run time. Download from the Administration console and check the decompression the. EAR. MAR siteTemplates GUID file. Create a folder using this GUID.

  The best option is to create the runtime of the Page template and upload it to your Application DesignWebCenterSpaces using the Upload/Download server option, it will generate it automatically (instead of manually as shown above).

It is my understanding that each user connects to the database as a 'Portal' that is configured by default in the dad under PlsqlDatabaseUsername.   Oracle Portal users are not defined in the database. They are defined as inputs in your LDAP server (Oracle Internet Directory) below the tree defined as a basis for research of the users in the Oracle Portal:

  Portal generator > Administration > global settings > tab: SSO/OID

  Therefore, there is no mapping between users defined in Oracle Internet Directory and the users defined in your database.

  To connect to the database, Oracle Portal uses the authentication of the Proxy (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/java.111/b31224/proxya.htm). Connections are made mainly by the user PORTAL_PUBLIC (who is often mentioned as part of the database schema in the user properties). The schema of database in the portal user profile defines the schema that is used to perform the procedures in the database of Portal metadata repository. Theoretically, you can use a different schema than Oracle Portal, but I have not seen all cases where this has been helpful.

• Assign the new manager through Web portal

  I am trying to assign a new manager through Web portal for all users (by going to the people-> assign to the new Manager-> set new manager and date in v7) and the system does not change the Manager. He's not even plan a change, at least nothing shows in respect of deferred operations. In looking at documentation it says it is STANDARD and there is no global configuration setting for this. Everyone knows about this problem before?
