Possible to use acroread for direct printing?

Hello

I wonder if it is possible to use acroread for direct printing? Is it possible to use acroead to print a pdf file without having to open the pdf file?

See you soon,.

Yes, it is possible.

Try the following command line to redirect the file postscript directly to

the printer.

acroread - toPostScript-pairs <-options>a.pdf - |-lp d

The following command line creates a postscript on the PDF file.

acroread - toPostScript - <-options>a.ps.pdf of pairs

Use acroread-help to go through the different printing options from command line

available.

Kind regards

Rishi

  • OfficeJet 6700 Premium: Officejet 6700 Premium - Support for direct printing HP (Ad Hoc) wireless

Please can someone confirm if you can set the to either ad hoc printing or using HP Officejet 6700 Premium Wireless Direct. I can't find anything in the user manual.

The situation is that a friend has just moved into his own office with a connection high speed standard with a wireless router, in 'Serviced Offices'. These connections allow broadband to the office and he has to pay for a dial-up connection to the internet.

So he paid for two ethernet connections which probably come out through internet gateway of the complex. However, he lost the ability to print at its 6700 HP that has been previously set up wireless. He tried to install the printer using infrastructure mode by connecting to the network without wire of the complex, but still can not access the printer. It could be that the wireless network is on a different network for LAN connections segment.

The only solution I can think off is to let each PC with ethernet for Internet connection and install a wireless dongle in each PC to connect to the wireless printer. However, as noted above though I can't find the instructions for the Officejet 6500 to print Ad Hoc has nothing in the manual for the 6700.

    Is this possible?

  • Is it possible to use formulas (for example 'if' or VLOOKUP functions) in the "custom calculation Script?

I'm working on a PDF form fill converted from MS excel. It is for others to use who do not have MS excel required to use my spreadsheet.

    1. I would like to know, how can we have complex formulas being the custom tab calculation script calculate under properties in a menu of cell?

    2. where can I find it that the formulas will work in the calculation script custom as well as the format of these formulas work properly (tutorials would help)?

I tried to write an 'if' function but I get and error so I guess that is functions do not work in the script, or there is a different format of spreadsheet standard formats.

    .

In this case the loop would be:

    for (var i = 0; i)< 8;="" i="" +="1)">

    sum += + getField("Total."_+_i).value;

    }

So initially, the counter i is zero, so the domain name used with the getField method is:

'Total': + 0, which results in the string "Total.0". At each iteration, the variable i is incremented by 1, so the following field names are the following:

    "Total.1".

    "Total.2".

    'Total.3 '.

    'Total.4 '.

    'Total.5 '.

    'Total.6 '.

    "World.7.

The script gets the value of each field, it converts numbers and adds the number to the cumulation.

Lol and I do not know what number you encounter on the retina, but I've had success

How about the CMYK settings? I have a problem with that? Please I need an expert at that too.

N ° Flash would be one of the applications more bad substitute to Photoshop to create art for printing. If you use something other than Photoshop, you can use Illustrator, it is specifically designed to create artwork for printing.

Flash has no direct method for CMYK output.

As they don't understand the area of cropping and Bleedbox parameters so far that they are, in my opinion, useless in regards to printing.

If you try to make prepress and correct page layout work in Photoshop, you can change to use the right tools for the task as Indesign.

  • If I use a web font in my Web site can I use the same font for documents printed such as company car

I'm a graphic designer who intends to design a portfolio Web site in Adobe Muse. I intend to use TypeKit web fonts to design my Web site. On the Web site completioin, I have plan to design business cards and my CV to match the look of my site. I would use the same fonts I've used on the Web site. Is it possible to use web fonts for printing purposes? If this is not the case, what usually people do in this situation. The last thing I want to do is use a font that "similar" to those used on my site.

    Hi redsoxfan15b,

(I think I can have answered your ticket of Support of Typekit earlier today, but I'll post here the same information to be certain).

We have recently added a new feature to Typekit that can sync your desktop fonts and use them in print design. The announcement on our Web site has more details:

    http://blog.Typekit.com/2014/01/16/the-fonts-you-love-from-Typekit-now-on-your-desktop/

Font sync is available on any portfolio Typekit, Performance or Business plan.  Here is a list of all available fonts to use the Office to:

    https://Typekit.com/fonts?licenses=desktop

We continue to pay more of the library to use the desktop, but for now, you must confirm the police you want it available for both web and desktop.  And if there is a font you want to use is not available for desktop synchronization, you can also buy a license directly from the foundry.

I hope this helps; Let me know if you have any other questions!  Best,

  • Is it possible to use the internal clock for meter tasks in the buffer?

    Hello

    Hardware: USB term mass 6251

    Software: LabView 2011 SP1

I need to measure the angular lever position and speed of a carpet. For that I use two quadrature encoders. To accurately calculate the speed I use buffered from the measures of position using one of the available onboard counters. I understand that for this technique, I provide a sample for the meter clock. I wonder if it is possible to use the internal time base. Note that both of my counters are used so I can't generate a signal to clock with them.

I found two conflicting pages related to my problem:

    1) http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/EA7FFFEAFC3E1D85862572F700699530

    2) http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/775290A3121D1FFC862577140074D3B3

The first says that I can use the internal clock of 100 kHz, and the other says that I have an external clock.

    Comments/solutions?

    Javad

    Hi Javad,

On your specific device, there is not a direct route from the time base of 100 kHz for the meter (according to the routing table of MAX):

Yellow cell indicates that a route is possible but there is not direct (the "gate" terminal is used as sample clock for counters of the M series).  Mouse on the cell reveals yellow that make this route really requires the use of a counter (so it is not suitable for your application).

On the line above "100kHzTimebase" you will notice it is called 'FrequencyOutput', which does not have a direct route to the door.  This would be the way to go if you want to route 100 kHz (or some other frequency) as your sample counter clock - you can set it up the same way to a standard meter output task:

The output frequency doesn't have that many features like a meter output, but it is able to generate a continuous stable frequency.  There are only 32 different frequencies that can be generated using Freq Out on the 6251:

    {10 MHz, 100 kHz} / {01:16}

Do not forget that the resolution of your measure of frequency by using this method will be equal to how many times you update the measure (hopefully, that makes sense).  In other words, if at the end of all the 1 second, you take the total number of charges since the last second, you would have a 1 per second equal resolution change in the number.  If you take the difference twice per second, you would end up with half the resolution.  You will be sampling the account register fairly quickly, but you will need only to do the calculation of the frequency after that all N samples in order to obtain a significant number.

Another method that will certainly give a higher resolution in less time at typical speeds of coders is to set up a measurement of the frequency (the counter will count the internal 80 MHz base time period your external signal and the pilot calculates the frequency based on the result).  This method uses only a single entry - so you can just feed the 'A' your encoder quadrature signal (the method will not work if you are interested in absolute position or direction).  Without using signals A and B together, you will be susceptible to noise (which is common to have a quadrature encoder) that you want to delete (perhaps by setting up a digital filter).  Finally, you want to set a reasonable timeout on your reader calls (which will be blocked until a period of your external signal occurs), and the error-200284 handle simply report "0Hz" to make sure that your program is still sensitive even without an external signal present.

  • HP Universal print driver: printers use duplex for single page documents

Here's our environment: Print Server Windows 2008 with many different printers HP HP, using UPD. Customers running Windows 7 x 64.

We configure default duplexing for environmental issues. When a single document page is printed, the printer uses duplex; After the printer page, it brings back the paper to 'print' the empty side of the single page document!

We lack something hidden in the configuration of the printer? Or isn't smart enough to single-side print when driver/printer duplex is active and only need to print?

    Best regards

Change the driver on the print server has solved the problem. I discovered that the "smart duplex" was working when printing directly to the printer (IP). We use v5.2 PCL 6 (61.112.1.9321). Changing to v5.9 PCL 6 (61.170.1.18326), which has solved.

  • Link direct and wireless for HP4280 printer

Can I connect my HP4280 printer directly to my computer and use it wirelessly with other computers in a network at the same time?

OK, on the host computer, go to control panel > printers.  Right-click on the printer and select sharing.

On the remote computer, download the latest version of the software for your printer from the "Support & drivers" link at the top of this page and install it.

Sounds easy, but often it does not see the printer...
