  As stated above, I have a 620 Inspiron with a Core i3 2120 which is a Sandy Bridge processor. I have the opportunity to get a Core i5 3570 for a very good price, which is a processor Ivy Bridge, but the word is that the Ivy Bridge processors can be used in some of the Sandy Bridge motherboards with a BIOS update. According to my system in the Device Manager devices, I have the drivers for chipset H61. However, I can't have an answer directly from anyone or not an Ivy Bridge CPU will work in my computer. I thought that maybe someone from Dell could help me this clear up because I'm not sure I can return the CPU as soon as I remove it from the box. It would be a fairly expensive mistake.   I don't think that it will be possible, because Dell does not have a BIOS for your specific model supporting Ivy Bridge. They may have sold a 620 with Ivy Bridge, however the more specific model number will be different, and they contain different parts and require different BIOS. For example on the number of specific model, the original Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series had a model number of 7537, the new 15 Inspiron 7000 (same model) series has a model number of 7547 (different specific model number)

  Hi, I and Inspiron E1505 and I was wondering how much it would cost to upgrade to an Inspiron 1525 comparable.  The 1525 is replacement of the E1505 is not it?  My E1505 has Vista with a CPU T7200, 2GB of RAM, 120GB HD, built in WiFi G Intel, Mobility Radeon X 1400, upgraded Sound Blaster Audigy.

  I've been upgraded to a Dell Dimension C521, that I use as a general computer and play games.

  I know that he will never play in recent games, although with the x 1300 pro that was in it when I got it I have successfully played 2 games or 3 years and more.   Hello, I am looking to update my map of current wireless (AR9285) for the ATHEROS AR9280 network so I can use my signal of 5 GHz of routers. It seems that when you shop, the AR9280 and AR5BHB92-H model number are interchangeable and I'm a bit hesitant to buy one on eBay because I don't know if they are really the same card or not. Another approach, that I took was looking in the maintenance manual for the part number of HP for the AR9280 and lists 518437-001 and it pulls up to some more expensive options to eBay.

  For me, to go with the item listed indicating the number 518437-001 HP substitution feel safest, but it's because I don't know much on the subject, but I don't want to be a sucker newbie who buys the article itself at a marked up price.

  My questions: are AR9280, AR5BHB92-H, 518437-001 the same card? I'm going to face problems of 'white list' with all the options? Also are there better options that I can look?
