Power AC Pro yoga 2 compatibility

I just got 2 Pro Yoga, I have also more old Thinkpad 65W 20V power supply with one cable conversion electric Slim ThinkPad, so it will fit, but is it OK to use? All specifications correspond except my new Yoga 2 adapter has no power in this matter. Thank you!

Yoga 2 Pro also uses a 65W adapter:

20V * 3. 25 A = 65W

You should be ok!

  • Anyone know how to use the recovery Pro Yoga 2 media?

    Hey guys,.

Technical support is not useful at all. I paid $60 for some recovery disks recover my accidentally formatted Yoga 2 Pro. The disks came with no instruction, and their use is weird. First of all, there are two disks of 1, disc 2, but there is a disc 3 and 4. Support has confirmed that this is normal. There is also no prompt between 1.1 and 2 disks, so that it my best guess when spending, I can't confidently say I'm not screwing things up.

When the process is complete, the bios can not find a bootable media.

Tech support confirmed that I'm missing a small step, but won't disclose what it is, unless I pay for premium support.

Can anyone provide instructions for the recovery media? Tips or pointers you can remember when you install?

    Thank you!

Well. It seems that I solved it. Significant progress will now on recovery. The missing piece for me was that I had the bios mode of existing startup instead of the UEFI. I don't know much, other that it's another way to start, but I started Windows in this mode before. Apparently you just cannot restore in legacy mode.

What really irks me about the Lenovo support, is that the person on the phone today spoke with the technical team and immediately identified the problem I was seen as "a small step of missing", but would not disclose what it was unless I paid them an extra $60-100 (I don't remember the exact amount).

In any case, for those who are like me - here are my steps:

    1. turn off the machine

    2. press the Novo button (the small button next to the actual power button)

    3. go into your bios and make sure the UEFI boot mode is selected instead of the inheritance

4 F10 to save and exit

    5. If you have a DVD - ROM drive with the recovery media, ensure that it is hooked to restart

    6. start with Disc 1 (or the other apparently)

    7. When you've waited long enough and the progress bar seems to be not to move and your DVD - ROM drive has stopped turning, insert the other Disc 1

    8. Repeat step 7, and then insert the disc 3 to the end

9 Disc 3 will ask you when it's over

    10 insert the disc 4.

The rest of the process will occur at startup, and I am currently going through it now.

Thanks a lot for your help guys, and I hope that Lenovo reads this, because it was a terrible experience. The hardware is impressive, but I can't justify a future purchase where I have no recourse if something happens to my machine

  • Driver Pro yoga 3 for ACPI\VPC2004 in Device Manager

    Hi all, first post here...

I am re - install Windows and drivers needed for my Yoga 3 Pro 8.1 (to get rid of Superfish, started the task until the Lenovo tool came out...)

I'm close to, with the exception of an unknown device in Device Manager, which has a code on his ACPI\VPC2004.

A quick google gives me a link - Lenovo http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht071645 - a page that says "download and run the energy management of the Lenovo Web site with its own version of the operating system. This will install the chipset INF files so that Windows correctly detects the controller virtual power/ACPI VPC2004. »

Everything seems clear. However I am not quite clear on what file on the relevant yoga page ( http://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/yoga-series/yoga-3-pro-1370-laptop-len... ) Should I use? -J' already installed all the drivers on this page (other than the intel LAN wireless and bluetooth as the yoga Broadcomm).

Any ideas or some direction would be massively appreciated!

    Thank you!

It seems that the power comes from a key optimizer. Can you install and let me know if the driver installs as well? If this isn't the case, I extract from my installation.

  • No power MacBook Pro MagSafe dim

    No power, Sun magsafe MacBook

    Hello

Then 2 days ago, I bought a used MacBook Pro, model 13 "2012.

I had planned to replace the hard disk drive for an SSD, wich I went to. and... Since then, it won't power, at all. I put the old hard drive, has nothing that I could think of, still no power. When I plug my magsafe (I checked that it was working with another computer) the only thing I see is a really small green light on the connector.

    Could someone help?

    Thanks :)

The usual recourse is to perform a reset of the MSC. Please read reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac for the procedure. Follow all the steps, even if they seem inapplicable or trivial. Do not try to remove the battery from your Mac's battery is not removable.

  • Questions to power MacBook Pro 15 "

My MacBook Pro is getting pretty old (8 almost 9 years), and at that age, he has some weird problems. I already talked to Apple about this and they can't pin point the issue... all they know is that it is NOT a software problem. Basically, my computer has some weird and random hiccups

    Data sheet:

MacBook Pro (15 inch, late 2008)

    OS: El Capitan 10.11.4

Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

    RAM: 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

    Chart: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M 256 MB

Hard drive: 320 GB Toshiba HDD

    Questions:

    • Stops at Midway during the start unless constantly, you press a key on the keyboard
    • Request chance to stop, restart, sleep in the pop window crept up I pressed the power button and will stop if Cancel is not pressed within 5-10 seconds
    • Randomly goes to sleep and stop unless you immediately wake up
    • Stop when the lid is closed (insomnia will not fix it... list of things I've tried is planned)
    • Caps lock light does not work (possibly related)
    • The lighting is uneven in lighting (possibly related)
    • Reader superDrive cannot read, write or view the disks on the desktop (possibly related)

    Solutions, I tried (but not):

    • Reset the NVRAM
    • Replacing the HARD drive
    • Installation of insomnia
    • Reinstall OS X
    • Boot Safe Mode
    • Disk check and repair authorization

I have no idea what to do and I don't want to make a new MacBook. If any of you can help or tell me what the problem is it would be greatly appreciated. If worst comes to worst I'll bring to a local Apple certified repair shop and get it looked at. I don't get a new computer (if it is repairable and not as compensation of $500). I want to wait until the computer is 2 years late. And yes I know the MacBook will not be able to get MacOS Sierra 10.12.0 in the fall, I'm willing to wait for OS X 10.14.0 (2018) to get a new Mac.

    Please try resetting the SMC.

Reset the SMC. Choose the method for "If the battery is good behaviour."

  • Power Mac Pro 2010 problems

So I just bought a Mac Pro 2010 and it ran fine for a day or two and then I noticed that when he falls asleep the light never blinks and turn even a problem.

If the unit is off, when I first press the button there is a click but the led stays off and nothing happens. I have to hold down the power button until there is another click. When I press the button once again, there is a click and the power of fans on and the machine finally starts. Although the chime time seems very long.

However, when he goes to sleep, the monitor turns off, I can hear the fans turns off but never flashes as it should the. Subsequently, the computer cannot be awakened from his sleep. This happens if the timer is active, I press the power button or choose to sleep in the menu. I have to hold the power button to turn it off completely, then start it again. Also, when I press the power button to restart the same as above occurs.

I ran Onyx to flush all caches that I left my SSD (OWC E2) my Mac Pro 2008. I also reset the SMC and the LANDAU and also ran the Apple Hardware test. Nothing has helped and no errors not found in one of these trials. I tried simply have a HARD classic in this drive and removed all my cards accessories but that does not make a difference. Even when I start windows via boot camp the same problem occurs with sleep.

    Any suggestions?

I had a similar with a 2010 6 core Mac Pro problem except that the Mac I never sleep, so sleep was not involved. An Apple Store Genius diagnosed as a button battery failure and, eventually, the PS. I asked that the two be replaced since the support for that Mac ends. It's worked OK since then and at Pick-up, engineering was agreed that, while the battery needs replacement, the real problem was the PS.

Until the repair, one of the things that helped aims to let the Mac disconnected from the AC line for about an hour. Immediately after it by plugging in, he would sometimes start and then work.

  • Questions "non Pro" yoga 2

    HY

I am really interested in buying a Yoga 2 "non Pro" in its edition of "stronger" (i5, 8 GB Ram & SSHD). Unfortunately, some sites show different pictures inside the laptop and so I'm not really sure how it actually looks like.

The money of the Pro edition is only silver outside but entirely black inside (keyboard, touchpad & surrounding area) with décor a little "rough".

On some Yoga 2 "non Pro" product photos in money is exactly the same (for example the site of Geizhals of German), but on others, it seems that the Interior is also in money and completely even (do not "rough").

Here are 2 pictures that should clarify what I mean:

Yoga 2 pro on Lenovo Homepage: http://shop.lenovo.com/at/de/laptops/lenovo/yoga/yoga-2-pro/

Yoga 2 "non Pro" on Lenovo Homepage: http://shop.lenovo.com/at/de/laptops/lenovo/yoga/yoga-2-13/

I really appreciate all the answers that can clarifiy how inside of the "non Pro" is in fact designed. It is silver or black, it is "rough" or not, and it is the same for all colors (especially Black & Silver)?

Moreover, the fact the keyboard on the "Pro not' have the same backlit like on the Pro version?

Thanks for all answers & best regards,

    MIK

2 13 color of the palmrest Yoga depends on the model of your choice color: gray, black or orange. And it is not textured with Yoga 2 Pro.

Yoga of orange 2 13: black Palm
Black Yoga 2 13: black Palm
2 13 Yoga gray: gray wrists

I think that these are the colors. Just look at the pictures.

Yoga 2 13 has a backlit keyboard, you can see by looking at the space bar, because there a torch icon or a flashlight printed on it. I think he's using the same keyboard Yoga 2 Pro.

Also, feel free to buy a sleeve or the official slot in the case. You must treat her well. The slot in the case is my favorite to protect my Yoga 2 Pro when they travel.

  • [Solved] After changing the mode of power Ssavings on Yoga 13, mouse blinks constantly

Before today, I've never had a problem with 13 of the Yoga. However, I changed the energy savings mode before my class to go to balanced energy and changed the life of the battery of life longevity. Since then, no matter what I do, my mouse pointer appears constantly as if he tries to run something (ie the blue loading circle bit). This occurs about every three seconds. However, after looking in the Task Manager, I can't represent what it would cause.

I rebooted the machine thinking that would solve the problem (as does most of the cases with Windows), but the problem occurs again. Then I thought, well, I'll put the power settings to what they were before them, I changed. Unfortunately, who did not resolve the situation either. The mouse cursor always appears at random with the loading screen.

I don't know that it won't harm anything, but it is incredibly annoying to see all the seconds. So, I was hoping someone might be able to help me and help me with this. I do not think that this is caused by any software I loaded on (I only installed four different programs since I have the laptop, which are on my desk and do not undergo the same question) and it occurred after playing with an OEM Lenovo software, I have a feeling that this could be the cause, but... I do not know.

I'd appreciate any help that you offered.

    EDIT:

    Resolved, I found this link:

Since the installation of Windows 8 PRO my incredimail Plus program e-mail does not work even in different compatibility modes.

    Thank you to

    Hello

The two models of laptops are old enough, is not easy to find some useful information on this subject. I remember that some P100/A100 and A200/P200 / X 200 models were offered with these keyboards.

I m not a technician but I think these keyboards with keys have two cables must be connected to the motherboard and keys touchpad without buttons have a flat cable only.
(I also believe that models with and without this touchpad have different numbers) model numbers) so it is possible that they have different mothers.

What you need is a professional help with this. I mean, if possible, try to contact nearest Toshiba authorized maintainer and ask for help. They have access to the database of Toshiba and can check the specification for your laptop model but also data base for all hardware components of portable.

They may be able to help you with this.

  • Satellite Pro A10 drive compatibility list?

Hi all, I have a hard drive to be replaced for the House of /2.5Ghz/30G/256Mb/XP Satellite Pro A10.

The pins of the connector appear more highlighted than many 2.5-inch hard drives. Don't want to take the risk of buying an inconsistent player. Is there a list of compatible drives anywhere, or someone may one suggest that costs about £50 - ish. ? Not too concerned about the size, 30-40Gb would be perfect. The original MK3021GAS is hard to find or expensive or repaired, and I'd rather have a new.

    Cheers for any help.
