Preparing for the exam 1Z0-058

Hello

I would like to know which is the best reference book to prepare for the exam 1Z0-058?

Thank you!

As much as I know there is no practical tests allowed for this test.

While originally for apex 3.2... This review has been upgraded for apex 4.0

In general, likely a careful reading, Research and practice of the topics of the review.

It is a hasty response from me.

  • preparing for the exam 1Z0-052 and practical real...

    Hello.

I have passed the SQL Fundamentals I exam recently and my new goal is Administration I. I bought the 1z0-052 necessary corrected by John Watson, but without practice, it is impossible to obtain skills or to take the exam. Will it be enough to try to apply what is in a book on Oracle 11 g XE which was released recently? There are different versions of Oracle 11 g which are available for download, but I'm not really sure what is sufficient for the preparation. Should I pay for these versions?
I kindly ask you to advise me, systems applications that might help me get skills for certification and actual practice.

You must accept the OTN license agreement in order to download the Enterprise edition of the database, Yes.

From a functional point of view, there is no difference between the software that you download from OTN and the software that you get when you purchase a full license. The only difference is that you are allowed to do with the software. It is interesting to read through the OTN license agreement to see what you and may not do with the software you download - I will not attempt to summarize what is and is not allowed since this is a legal agreement and I would almost certainly leave something important on.

  • Good preparation for the 1Z0-051 exam book

    Hello
I would like to know if there's a book recommended by Oracle to prepare for the exam 1Z0-051. Thank you

Here's the Sybex book which covers OCA Database Administrator certification. I.E. exams 1Z0-051 AND 1Z0-052...

  • Just passed the exam 1Z0-060 needed for OCP 12 c

I just passed the 1Z0 - 060 upgrade exam required for OCP 12 c a few days ago.

The following link is all that you need to prepare for the exam.

Country Select Oracle University & lt; / title & gt; & lt; meta name = & quot; Title & quot; content = & quot; Oracle University select neck...

    Good luck

Please note that is not only the class, I already have the official Oracle University course material, hands on experience and to know the 12 docs is also a must to pass this exam.

I think that the classes (with instructor or lvc) will start early next month.

  • How can I access other demo sample such as sh (sales history) patterns similar to hr & oe I use to study for the exam SQL?

I installed Oracle 12 c database on my Tablet Windows Pro 8.1 and I chose to install demo (sample) patterns in an additional download of oracle.com/downloads.  Then, on the instruction of the book corrected Oracle, I've unlocked users 'HR' and 'oe' using the following commands:

    ALTER user HR account unlock identified per hour;

    ALTER user oe account unlock identified by oe;

I've been connecting to connections HR and oe to write and execute sql commands following fundamentals of SQL as well as the book in preparation for the exam successfully.  Now, in Chapter 10 of the book, he mentions the "sh" (historical sales) pattern.  I tried to launch a slight spin on orders above change/unlock to unlock the 'sh' user when logged in sysdba, but I get an error message indicating that the user "sh" is not found.  So I've navigated to the .sql file sh_main.sql and opened it with SQL Developer to run it, but it requires parameters that are not in the book, as if they were in Chapter 1 of 'oe' and 'hr '.  I know put sh as password, USERS, TEMP and V3 for version, but I do not know the path of log file to use (or type as a parameter).  Maybe I go about it the wrong way at this point?  It is not as simply by running the command user unlock, because it does not recognize the "sh" user even if that user exists in the directory tree under connect sysdba "other users".

What am I supposed to do to connect to the less common, but still useful demo schema "sh" (sales history)?

    Thank you

  • Exam 1Z0-058

    Hello all-

I am preparing for the 058 exam 1Z0. I see that there are two sections and 77 questions.
    My question is that

    (a) is it 77 questions in each section?
    (b) if it is for questions 77, (total), then do we know if how many questions of each section (percentage wise).

    Thanks in advance.

    user11142794 wrote:

Nope - 77 total. It is a very good thing, because if there are 154 questions to answer in 105 minutes, you would only 41 seconds per question to answer all.

    (b) if it is for questions 77, (total), then do we know if how many questions of each section (percentage wise).

OE does not provide this information. However, there are 47 grid Infrastructure: Clusterware and ASM topics and 32 topics CARS. With 77 and 79 issues, you can expect the two sections to separate close enough percentages of topic, this figure approximately 60% of the trial (46 questions) being about Clusterware and 40% (31 questions) being about RAC and you're not far off.

  • Resources in preparation for the review of control of B2B?

Nobody knows all the right resources to help prepare for the review of control of B2B? I finished the course a few months ago, but have not circumvented for the exam and I'm trying to freshen up on the material.

    Hi Andy,.

The study recommended resources will include your guides to the student, classroom exercises, and lecture notes that may have taken. Good luck to the review of 2016! PS This review should be available before the end of January.

  • The similarity is the performance and tuning 1z1-064 (12 c) the exam 1z0-054 (11g)?

I had Oracle 11 g performance and Tuning of Oracle class.

I wonder how close the 1z1-064 will be the exam 1z0-054.

I'm also a student at the exam 1z1-064.

Is he still released books, or simply the material of the RTO.

    Thank you Roger

Oh - and regarding the materials on 1Z0 - 064, there is not yet any material of third parties specific to 1Z0 -054 out right now.  I am sure that there is no output for 064 yet.  I will create a guide for it shortly... I hope that I will be able to complete before the beta and take the exam at the end of the beta.  However, I concentrate on my exams to practice at the moment... so I don't even know if I'll make this deadline.  I certainly will not post before the end of the beta review and probably not until the review of the production is released.

I have windows xp and whenever I click on an installer of winows icon comes out and says it: preparation for the installation and it takes a while to come

    Hi DanBourque

1 does the problem occur when you click the icon of the exe file or any application shortcut icon as well?
    2. for how long have you been faced with this problem?

    3. did you of recent changes on the computer?

You can re-register Windows Installer and check if this helps-
    a. Quit all Windows programs.
    b. click Start, click run, type msiexec /Unregister in the Open box and then click OK.
    c. click Start, click run, type msiexec/regserver in the Open box and then click OK.
    d. restart your computer.

    I hope this helps.

  • Preparations for the launch of Oracle Universal Installer from/tmp/OraInstall2014-02-25_01-35-08 PM. Please wait... Error in CreateOUIProcess(): 13: permission denied

    Hi all

Im getting below error when installing on RHEL 6 12

Preparations for the launch of Oracle Universal Installer from/tmp/OraInstall2014-02-25_01-35-08 PM. Please wait... Error in CreateOUIProcess(): 13

    I got permission to

    mkdir Pei /u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/db_1

    chown-r oracle: oinstall/U01

    chmod-r 775/U01

    permission on temp

    Bash profile

    export TMP = / tmp

    export LD_LIBRARY_PATH = $ORACLE_HOME/lib: / lib: / usr/lib
    Export CLASSPATH = $ORACLE_HOME/jlib: $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/jlib

The link refers to the TEMP variable as so defined.

I think you would have to remove and back up/tmp at all the less for the new permissions to take effect.  I would not have thought that it is a dynamic change that takes effect by simply changing the file.

  • How well the class prepare you for the exam?

I'm looking at planning for the installation of VCP5 set up class (not the fast track one).  I have given the task up VMWare ESXi and run for my group.  I will do this on Cisco UCS.  Even if the Cisco class is supposed to help me get started on getting installed ESXi, I plan to pay on my own to go to VMware installation you configure class.  What concerns me, it is the class getting ready to review?  I got several Cisco certificates over the years and have found that classes don't really help you with what is perhaps reviews, as a writing group at Cisco exams and one other group wrote material for classes.

I would like to hear from those who have gone through the classes for your printing.  I am watching 3 third-party sources for other material that would help me as well as establishing a "lab" server using vm workstation or fusion and ESXi running on this.

    Thank you

    Ron

The class teaches you the product so it will obviously help, but the objectives of the training are only a partial match to review.

You can compare the objectives of training compared to the objectives of the review by downloading the form of training and the examination plan.

There is lots of useful information and links on my blog, including links to some practical examinations - click on the VCP5 tab.

Regarding the labs, I would look at Autolab and build the ultimate vSphere lab.

so I can't learn a Center course, I finished 9i and 10g certifications without and coaching, just looking for a book to review.

This is a review of the OCE... There is no book directly to the assessment of how sam all OCA/OCP exams. It is perhaps not so easy, and you must make a lot of preparatory work.

Furthermore you have to make a practical course for your OCP (OK it may well have not been associated with your OCP)?

If I can prepare and appear in the review

Good luck in any case. I would say that the book I suggested is useful, that was part of my suggestion.

  • I just did the exam 1Z0-047 - what's next?

I just spent my first (internationally recognized) exam Oracle 1Z0-047. Hmmm, I got 83%. I think its good since its my first review, I felt I could do better up to 90% +. This article shows 9 chips of topics can I show review. The subjects, they mentioned that I know really well. I'll take the exam again? I don't think it's a big deal, probably 83% is good. Anyway, the test centre gave me a paper printed from my total score. They said that oracle will send another Certification to my address. Which Certification is official? The one that was given to me by the exam Center is a printed cert (black and point). We must I show employers?

I'm happy but also sad because I knew that the mistakes I made are stupid (I want to get rid of the bullet points argghhhh) + I did the review after having at least 3 months College hands on experience.

Congratulations. You did, and that's all that matters (except your pride).

Realize that issues are sometimes sensitive - the wording is intended to encourage the wrong answer, unless you're very careful. Thus, the "bullet points" can be simply a way of telling you to read more carefully.

Having said that - your next step is to decide what other certifications you want. http://education.Oracle.com/pls/web_prod-PLQ-dad/db_pages.GetPage?page_id=141 and this depends on if you want to become an administrator/operator or a developer. (To take?-ask a career Advisor, not us.)

As for who you show your employer - does not display unless asked. And when you get from Oracle, is the official, it's as well as to the need to present a passport.
