Preview of folio

So I produced a folio to show an application of the concept to a client, all big word, up until I have unplug my iPad for the mac - then I can't seem to load the folio, it has an icon (I guess) indicating that it has to be wired to the mac. I said there's a way to get a glimpse of the folio away from the mac, how!

Looks like you are using the Preview on the device, but noticed article only, not in the folio. If you use sighted on device for an overview of the article, it is deleted when you exit. But if you preview the folio, you should be able to open it again.

Another option is to connect to the Adobe Content Viewer using the same Adobe ID lets you connect to the Folio Builder Panel and then download the folio.

Here is my answer to a similar question on another thread:

Are you on Windows or a Mac? I'm going to assume Mac for now:

    (1) check and make sure that the Adobe Content Viewer is in your Applications folder. Otherwise, run it, then try the preview again.

    (2) when it is installed but still works overview not try to fix up the Association of file type for .folio. See http://forums.adobe.com/message/4617478.

    (3) if it is not installed, try install in/Library/Application Support / Adobe / installers / AdobeDigitalPublishingCS6 / ContentViewer / Adob eContentViewer.air

If you are on Windows the installation in step 3 location is "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common ontentViewer.air".

  • Preview of Folio on a PC

I work on a sheet to be used on an Android device and the customer asks if he can see it on his PC? It would be just for purpose of verification. I know that you can use the content viewer Adobe on a Mac but there at - he an equvalant to PC?

The desktop version works fine on Windows, but the user must have

    InDesign and tools DPS.

Why not just share the folio with the client so that it can display it on the

    target device?

  • Folio Preview error with the Vertical Articles

I'm trying to build a basic folio.

I get an error noticed when I try to preview it on an iPad.

After several sessions of trials and errors, I created a new brand folio, allegedly with guidance a portrait and landscape.

If I insert a section of landscape, it works as expected.

If I load a portrait article it throws the preview error dreaded.

    Here are the details:

    • InDesign CS6 (8.0.1)
    • Mac OSX (10.8.5)
    • Folio dual orientation, containing:
    • A single, single article page (standard 1024 x 768, in vertical)

I have rebuilt the folio as the article page probably 6 times in the last three days trying to isolate this problem.

    Apparently, Miss me something.

    Someone at - it recommendations?

    Layout.pngFailure.png

If you preview of Folio Builder Panel you * must * have a portrait and a landscape of article of the folio version when you have selected the double direction otherwise, you will get this error. If you preview the Folio overlays Panel, it will be just a glimpse of the open document and everything that is on your folio is not serious.

After typing this... don't do a folio dual orientation. It doubles your time of design, almost double the size of your folio and does not provide any benefit to your reader. To do this, choose a direction and design.

  • Preview of a shared folio

    Hello guys!

I would like to share a folio with someone who needs to view in Desktop (Windows).

I fell on the viewer who has been launched for Windows 8.1, but I don't know if I'm able to preview a folio shared in it.

So, am I how to get a glimpse of this folio in Desktop?

    Thank you!

If the user has 8.1 Windows then Yes, the ACV to which would allow them to discover the folio after signing with the identification code Adobe

  • iPad Folio Overlay preview only shows direction both

I have an InDesign doc two simple page created from the ground up for DPS. It has some text, image, cursor overlay and integrated video and has a file_v vertical (portrait) and horizontal (landscape) file_h.

My problem is when I saw it on an iPad connected, only one orientation is presented in preview at the same time. I double checked my iPad, its orientation is not 'locked '. I also tried it on another iPad and had the same results. For example, only the portrait version is presented as a preview on the iPad, it doesn't matter how I try and change the orientation of the iPad. In order to get an overview of the landscape version, I need to go to my doc, scroll the page where begins the file_h version and click Preview of folio from there.

If I saw on the desktop, the Adobe Viewer displays correctly the two thrusts of layout and I can switch between them.

Only, I had this problem after recently renamed the doc. I tested an older version of the doc and had this same problem.

My question is: is there a setting or preference somewhere to lock a preview of iPad for only orientatation? I really want to get the preview feature two directions at the same time to see how they compare.

How can you look at the article on your iPad? My guess is that you use the option found at the bottom of the Panel inlays. This shows that the current provision. Instead, select the article or folio Panel Folio Builder and preview from here.

  • I can't see the option for the iPad in the preview for overlays or folio Builder.

I can't see the option of the iPad in the preview for folio overlays or the promoter of folio.

I have the content viewer on my iPad and I'm connected to it.  It worked before.  Get a new version of the app works.

    Help, please.

If you update the Adobe Content Viewer on iPad (as well as your tools), preview will work.

  • Folio preview does not?

I use InDesign CS5.5 with the last updated with the last Folio Builder Tools v20. Trying to get an overview of the articles using file > preview of Folio to Folio overview Panel opens and is empty. With the help of the preview of the Overlay creator I have Adobe content viewer for opening and there is an overview. Is this a bug or am I missing something. Never had this problem before.

Yes, it is a known problem in CS5 and 5.5. See http://forums.adobe.com/message/4399358#4399358 for more details. You can call the Folio Builder Panel preview and it works perfectly.

  • I don't see my android device in folio Builder

I don't see my android device in folio Builder to preview of folio.  I have the unit connected to my PC via USB and content adobe reader is running (same login as indesign) usb debugging is enabled. It is a tablet of nexus 7. InDesign CS6

    Thanks for any help

Your Nexus 7 probably has a version very, very, old Adobe Content Viewer on leave before we made the move to a native Android visualizer, which was almost (more?) than two years.

We do not support overview directly from InDesign to Android more.

  • How folio overview DPS interactivity in CC2015

    Hello:

Is there a way to make an overview of Folio DPS in CC2015? I need to test interactivity before creating the .article file...  Thanks for your help!

    Cordial greetings,

    Leo

No, it is not yet a way to get a glimpse of interactivity with InDesign CC 2015. If you want to preview DPS folios, you need to use InDesign CS6, CC or CC 2014.

Export article of InDesign file, download it and then use the preflight check to make sure it works.

  • Overview on the unit Panel inlays folio is blurred

I am new to DPS, so I do not know there is a setting somewhere that I haven't checked, but why the blurry text on my iPad when I spotted my article? I have an iPad of the retina, my document is 1024 x 768, and I use the "Preview on iPad XYZ" function at the bottom of the Folio Overlay Panel. What I am doing wrong? It seems as if I saw the folio in the Folio Builder Panel - what is the difference?

If you use Control Panel overlays folio preview you get only the

section and is to be rasterized in 1024 x 768. Preview the folio

generator and you will get the entire folio.

I guess you have using the PDF and you have defined with text overlays

    Vector.

  • If the file of my folio works correctly on the desktop and on my device via the cloud...

It should work when it is published. Fix? I was wondering if there is some kind of talks until it became a folio. Thank you!

If you use Adobe Content Viewer to preview the folio by downloading it from within the ACV, then Yes, you see exactly the same content of folio that will be activated when you publish. There is no need of proof it another way.
