Previous page ("Back" button)

Hello

I have this scenario: a Flex application calls another Flex application (using a menu) passing certain parameters; the new Flex application shows some results (based on settings) in the SAME window broser. Now, I want to add a Button component in the called application to behave like the browser's "back" button, I want to return at the request of the appellant.

How can I accomplish that? I want to emphasize that the called app cannot be opened in a new window (should be the same) and the "Back" browser button cannot be used (even if it is functional).

Any help is much appreciated, as usual...

History.back() () starting from Javascript.  You can try to call the function ButtonBack

through employment insurance if you use the default templates with history.

How to redirect to the previous page after update?

    Hi all!

Thank you for your kind reply. Because javascript isn't the best solution, I found a solution using the session variable. This method works simply to redirect the page or an echo to the link on the previous page.

    (1) Include on each page with insert or update link (redirect page)

    (2) in insert or update page by default Dreamweaver insert or update of the server behavior, set the $insertGoTo value to $_SESSION ['tout_nom'], for example, in this case $insertGoTo = $_SESSION ["tout_nom"];

    (3) in addition, to add go to the link to the previous page, ">[back to the previous page].

  • YouTube I have to press the button "back" twice to return to the previous page

    Hello!

FF constantly and across operating systems (I use many for most Linux distributions) fails to simply go back to the previous page when I press the button 'back' of the browser. He did it for months. Completely reset FF does not work, or not to empty the cache then restarting it manually.

It is a very irritating problem, especially since I prefer FF so strongly on another browser and do not want to hit back twice whenever I want to go to a play list/etc. To clarify, it reloads the page/video, I am currently on, then finally doing what I want to after 2 clicks the 'back' button For someone who needs YouTube to work, as well as for reasons a many great tutorials that needs resolution as soon as POSSIBLE.

Thanks in advance for any help! In my opinion, I've isolated probably the question enough that it is very likely to be a problem with my OS or malicious software.

What is the most likely culprit here?

I should also mention that this is happening not only across operating systems, but also on a laptop Lenovo G770 and an AMD FX - 8350 16 GB RAM PC desktop I built very recently.

If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit ' (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: Firefox > quit Firefox. Linux: Firefox/file > exit)

  • Why I can't to the previous page by pressing the back only one button only once?

Hi it. My problem is when I try to go back to the page previous (s) and hit the back button nothing happens. I have to hit twice or three times to force the action. What happens after the last update of mozilla. I know that in previous versions of mozilla, you have to click twice to return to previous pages, but in recent versions you might come back with a single click (double click remained as a choice for the romantic...). Is it a question of set upward? Please answer because it's really annoying...

Also, can you try to start Firefox in Mode safe to see if Firefox works correctly without error? You can start Firefox in Mode safe below:

    • Windows/Mac: choose Help > restart with disabled modules
    • Linux: run firefox-safe-mode in the Terminal/Konsole

If Firefox opens fine with no problems, it is probably one of your extensions that is causing the problem. You can reactivate your modules one by one until you find the one that is causing the problem to be re-activated.

When I left click on the back instead of the browser navigation back button, I go almost every time to get the list of previous browsing history or it will just doing nothing until I click on the new button. The history of combination of button "return" rather than a separate between the historical click of the buttons box is the problem. Combined with my arthritic fingers of aging that is. If I was as fast as I used to be I guess it wouldn't be a problem. I liked the separate history area. This action combination navigation / buttons story scenario is problematic. I'm fairly certain that if I find it quite disturbing to bring to your attention that there are others (old beards) in the same boat I am.

Use one of the following methods to open the tab history list:

    • Right-click on the back or next button
    • Press and hold the left button of the mouse on the active back or forward button until the list opens

    You can watch this extension:

  • What happened to the drop-down list of the previous pages on the back button? I see it in 'history', but it is slower to get to.

There used to be a drop-down list on the back button, and I think that the forward stop button, too, so that I could jump to the previous page without paging a descendant both. Find my story now and clicking on a page are much slower.

Use one of them to open the tab history list:

    • Right-click on the back or next button
    • Press and hold the left button of the mouse on the active back or forward button until the list opens

    You can watch this extension:

  • The Back button only allows me to return a page at a time instead of select a previous page from a drop-down list. It is a real problem: someone has any ideas?

In the previous version of Firefox, I could go back to a previous page by clicking on a part of the previous button which brought up a list of recently visited sites and clicking on one of them, might go back to this page. This installation does not seem to be available in the latest Firefox, and the back button only goes back one page at a time. It's really embarrassing, like,

it now takes longer to get to an earlier page
there is no visibility of previous pages visited
any actions carried out on webpages are undone when going back through them - this does not happen when jumping back several pages in one go.

It is a real problem, I used the old system constantly and cannot continue to use Firefox 4.0 unless there is a way around it.

Use it to open the history list:

    • Right-click on the back or next button
    • Press and hold the left button of the mouse on the active back or forward button until the list opens

    You can watch this extension:

  • The back button brings back me to the top of the previous page instead of the place in the previous page, where I was before. How does it evolve?

On a list as Craiglists which has 100s of lists on a page, you click on the link to access the item description page, after the ad, I then click on the back button & instead of back to where I was on the previous page, I went back to the top of the page. It's a lot of time, because I then locate the list I was before so I can continue my review of the list of others.

Maybe it's a problem of compatibility add-on or extension.
I had the same problem and I seem to have solved by uninstalling APTURE HIGHLIGHTS 1.6. following the standard diagnostic test not more white flashes and now my scroll position is known.
It also cleared up a bad freeze/hang up, I had after waking from sleep/hibernate.

  • Is it possible to create a button that goes back to the previous page?

I would like to create a button that is located within an interactive pdf page which, when a click, turn to my previously visited page.

As the page can be accessed through many other pages the traditional built in action menu does not Execute.

The page that will appear (at the click of a button) is a variety of sizes of mattresses that I want to be accessible by each bed product in our collection. Once the user has looked at the mattress size guide, I want them to be able to back to bed product they were looking for, without having to then do scroll and search.

Is this possible with tricks of javascript?

    I found this script:

    History.Go (-1);

But allas acrobat was not fond.

    Help, please!

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the tips!

I already managed to do the navigation above methods with success.

I have also since posting this message found the answer via a web document:

    http://cybertext.WordPress.com/2010/07/06/Acrobat-back-and-forward-buttons/

It seems that if I told him to go to the previous view, it has the same effect as a "back" button.

Thanks for the quick reply no matter!

  • How to make Firefox exit reloading web pages of several times (while I read a page), so that the back button to return to the previous page

The back button did not work correctly for perhaps a month. I have finally addressed the problem but have no solution. Updated for Firefox 43.0, turned off all my Add-ons back to header by default, then also ran the refreshment of deleted my Add-ons. This problem occurs on many web sites. I'll click on Rawstory.com (for example), and then click an article and start viewing. While the page does not appear to charge that I read, I noticed that the small icon in the tab of Rawstory winks (as if reloading the page). This happens over and over again. Now I know to pull down the window under the left arrow to see what happened. The last page I read ended show 9 times under the arrow to the left, even if all I did was click top once and read the article. I wondered if my click on the scroll bar to read to the bottom of the article is somehow cause this problem (same for the use of my fingers on the touchpad). Thanks for your help.

  • When I hit the back button to return to previous page...

... I get the dialog box: confirm: Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (for example, a search or order confirmation) that was carried out earlier. Return or cancel, is possible to disable this very annoying (for me anyway).

I know what I want to do and it annoys the hell out of me.

You receive an alert to send POST data if you return to a page or refresh a page that was requested in advance from the server by submitting form via a (hidden) MESSAGE form data.

Firefox can only make sure to get the same page send this POST form.

Firefox doesn't know what it means shape data, so Firefox asks for confirmation before sending the form data so action can you take to repeat an action and buy another article or post a message once.

A way to prevent that pop up is not to use the back button, but to open the links on a page that have been requested from a server by sending a MESSAGE form in a new tab (window) with a middle click or a Ctrl + left click.

Then you can close the tab or window to go back.

  • I touched something and now the page up key goes back to the previous page, instead of a screen. How can I fix it?

Normally, the previous page button moves a screen and the page down key moves one screen down. I hit a combination of keys by mistake and now the page up key load previous page while the next page button loads a page, I'll be back, mimicking the previous buttons and following. I can still use the SPACEBAR to go down one screen and the arrow keys, end and home work normally. The page of buttons function normally outside Firefox. What I've done and how to cancel it?

  • How to return to the previous page when I'm surfing the web; I; m used to have the arrow "back"!

In Internet Explorer, I BACK and forward arrows when looking on the internet, like to check a site such as Wal - Mart.com for an article catalog, but in Mozilla, I can't go back to the previous page without losing the entire program. It MUST be a secret I'm missing... Help!

You have the toolbar with the URL? If this bar is absent, one of them try to restore:

    • Right click on a zone empty of the tab bar > Navigation bar
    • Press the Alt key to activate the classic menu bar > view > toolbars > Navigation toolbar

If you do not have menus or toolbars, try the key F11, which toggles between full screen and normal views.

    You can get the button?

If you have the Navigation toolbar, but the button is missing, you can restore the default configuration using the personalization feature. Either:

    • Right click on a zone empty of the tab bar > customize
    • Press the Alt key to activate the classic menu bar > view > toolbars > customize

In the dialog box, click Restore Default Set.

    A little luck?

Furthermore, by default, these keyboard shortcuts also will sail "return":

    • Return key back, when you're not in an edit control (this can be disabled if it is causing problems, see browser.backspace_action)
    • ALT + left arrow (Alt + right arrow goes forward)
  • How can I stop the page to reload automatically when I hit the back button?

A few months back, I upgraded to a new laptop, and since then, when I hit the back button, it refreshes the previous page from what I can understand. On my last laptop, if I was doing some research on a site and click the previous button, the search bar would be automatically ready to hit the BACKSPACE and delete what is there for a new search. Now, when I hit the back button, I have to manually click inside the search box to do, and I hate it. When you are doing research on multiple sites, like this time savers really help. This applies to regular sites (forums, online stores, etc.), not search like Google sites.

I don't have this problem on my old laptop and does not know how to solve this problem on this one. They are the two Win7 x 64, and version of the browser is not the issue. I started Firefox on this computer that same exact on the last of them, and after the updates, it's always the same. I am currently on 8.0 but will soon be upgrading to the new.

Do you mean that the search bar on this page focus?

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).
