• How can I download the previous version of Illustrator?

  The most recent update to Illustrator (2015.3) does not open. I can't even past the initial splash screen, which means that I can't open it even in safe mode. Other forums about this did not provide a solution, but they recommended to download a previous version. However, I don't see any instructions on how to do it for a PC on Windows 10.

  Also for the record, do not call it a hardware problem. I am under a Surface Pro 4, more recent model. If Illustrator does not work on this device, that needs Adobe to adapt, not me.

  Whenever I open a file that was saved in an earlier version of illustrator in Illustrator CC2015, all work in illustrator area is covered by a black square. After Zoom all the way and toggling the visibility of art all work in the layers panel, the work plan becomes visible, but there is no objects to select. I was previously using CC2014. I tried UN-installing, re-installing and rebooting my computer. I'm running on Windows 7. All solutions would be very appreciated.

  Try to disable the GPU performance by clicking on the icon of the rocket in the App bar and the de-selection of the Performance GPU checkbox.

  I have problems with Illustrator CC 2014. It is slow as hell on my new iMac. My other system, I most version 'CC' and that's fine. Can I install the old version of CC AND have 2014 on my system at the same time? (it does not appear in my small menu options in the CC Control Panel). Can I do this without having to uninstall CC2014?  If so, how?

  Yes, Yes and Yes. they are completely separate versions. Simply check the filter at the bottom of the CC app options and select previous versions.

  My Mac has system 10.5.7.   Illustrator version 10.0.3 to be able to work properly on it?   It doesn't seem to.  Any ideas why it does not work?

  Setup for Illustrator 10 will not work on a computer that is not being handled classic (OS 9). You did not specify what kind of Mac so you have this is a simplified list: Illustrator CS (11) - CS2 (12) to settle and work properly with a Mac PPC (pre Intel.) Illustrator CS3 (13) - CS4 (14) will work properly on a Mac Intel.

  Illustrator CS - CS2 has glitches when running via Rosetta on an Intel Mac and CS3 - CS4 work natively on an Intel Mac.

  There is no free upgrade to one of them. Versions numbers are always paid upgrades.

  As long as you violate no license issues * you being the one that the software is licensed, * Illustrator 10 can run on an Intel Mac through Rosetta if it was previously installed on a machine that has a classic support. You simply copy the folder of the installed application from one machine to the other. You must also copy the files preference because some of the preferences of the user cannot be changed. I run Illustrator 10 on my Mac Pro with Snow Leopard (10.6) and it seems to work well, even with the caveats on preferences.

  You will need to bring up the old copy under license of Illustrator to convert my old Freehand files.

  You can still install a newer version over the top of an older one.

  As I well understood (and no less so with CC/CC2014 not involved), install an older version would get you into a mess in connection with files shared, which would be modified fool, they could be used is no longer the newest one.

  But if you uninstall the most recent/most recent, then repeat and install more older/more alumni in the first place, you can install the most recent/most recent (in the strict order) later and have shared files update/upgrade along the way.

  I think they want me CC to uninstall then reinstall CS3, which is allowed, then use it to convert my files that uninstalling and reinstalling CC, etc.

  According to me, that they may have been too woolly or not aware of your actual need to keep CS3 for future use.

  You can have all the versions installed and even during execution, at the same time. There are funny things with other applications, such as Acrobat, where you have to leave the more old (s) go for a newer version, or if you want to keep an older, refrain from the more recent (choose according to what is not as bad, or even worse).

• Adobe Acrobat Pro XI serial number for the previous version, not for a product calling?

  Upgrade to Adobe Acrobat XI Pro to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  Get a message saying "... no product qualifying was not found on this computer.  Then entered the serial number and indicates the serial number for the previous version is not for a product calling?  I tried to enter the serial number in the accounts of my Adobe page section, but it does not recognize either.  Can you please help?

  • Processor Intel multicore with 64-bit support
  • Mac OS X v10.7, v10.8, v10.9 or v10.10

  you could install the previous cc of AI version by opening your desktop cc app > by clicking Applications > filters & releases > previous versions > install illustrator > cc

  I understand when you try to scan a document, you receive a message stating "an error has occurred in the scanner software: restart/reboot/reinstall and error 4, [(3,42,0,)]. I will do my best to help you! Thank you for your previous post where you got help, this clarify this issue.

  I found a HP document on error 42, 4, [(3,42,0)], forbidden during preview scanning is enabled which should solve this problem. Due to having a large screen monitors or set of high resolution, the DPI setting to increase the size of police/icon.

  Go to the preferences and set the correct version of Illustrator for editing. I'm not on a machine with AA DC right now, so cannot give accurate directions. For AA 8 on this machine, the settings are located under the category edits.
