print the decimal number

Hello

I am trying to print the decimal number, but I've always had the decimal number (between-1 to 1) witout '0' or '-0 ".

Var num:num = 0,235

MsgBox (num)

her impression: ".." 235.

Thank you

Hello OzShimon,

It's weird, I just tried your code and get this result:

I noticed that this behavior can be changed in the configuration "Regions and languages" of Windows. In Windows 7, it's this dialog box:

If I change the settings of this dialog to any of the zeros, the result is the same as you have described.

Can you check your Windows settings and confirm that yours looks the same as mine?

Best regards

Otmar

    Try something like:

    dbms_output.put_line(sqlerrm || chr(10) || dbms_utility.format_error_backtrace);

    (Hoping that this is a simplified example and you are not actually using dbms_output as an exception handler...)

  • Not able to print the decimal values in a table

    Hi all

    I created an application. Here, I have a table with three columns Col1 and col2 are numbers and col3 is the diffrence between col1, col2.

    I use AJAX and JavaScript to calculate the difference in a dynamic way.

    I am able to print the difference as for example:-1, 2, 1.5-1.5. but not 0.8, 0.8, 0.1 etc...

    If col1 col2 = 1.2 - capable of printing

    If col1 to col2 = 0.2 - error, unexpected token

    Hello

    I don't get the point to use the expensive AJAX call to the database, instead you can have the same functionality with JavaScript code below.

    function f_calulate_duration(pThis) {
      var row_id     = pThis.id.substr(4);
      var s          = $('#f18_'+row_id).val().replace(/[^\d.-]/g, '');
      var curr       = $(pThis).val().replace(/[^\d.-]/g, '');

    if(!s){
      var s= 0;
      var prev = s;}
    else{
      var prev = s;}

    var diff = 0;
    diff = curr - prev;
    var n = diff.toFixed(2);
    alert(n);
    $('#f23_'+row_id).val(n);

    //-- Remove this code
    /*apex.server.process
    ( "CALC_DIFF", { x01: prev, x02: curr },
    { success: function( pData ) {
    $('#f23_'+row_id).val(pData);}}
    );*/

    }

  • Displays the decimal number

    Dear All;

    I just want to get a decimal number (i.e. 2.5), I tried the mathematical functions, it has not solved the problem.
    Is there another function that returns a decimal numbers. ?

    Thank you;

    In the case where what you mean is you have found values in the path of 2.66666667, etc. and want to round down to 2.7, that can be performed as follows:

    var pH:Number=Math.round(140*(-ySlider/550)) / 10;

    Essentially, you multiply the value by 10, round, then divide by 10.

  • The decimal string to number Conversion, cutting necessary zeros

    I'm new to the forum, but have been using labview for awhile. Finally found something that really puzzled me, hope I can find someone who is smarter than me! It may be something obvious too, but here goes. The attached vi is the cause of the error. I have a serial number I need to convert a decimal string into a number, I use later the number of "math" so he need as a number. The system always receives a serial number of 6 characters (ie. 123456), but today the system has received a serial number with two leading figures of the scale (ie. 003456) zeros. This compensation of all the bells of alarm stream (sent 4 digits), but the error found that started the 'intelligence' at the beginning of the monitoring program. I would like to know if there is a way to force the zeros in the decimal number in string to not shave off the coast of the 6-digit value above.

    File is located in LabVIEW 2014

    Ideas or comments, thank you!

    The problem is not the string functions.  This is the display format for your digital indicator.  Change the properties on that.

  • How we can print the page numbers for the shape of the TABLE OF CONTENTS when her excluded from the form page count?

    Hi Experts,

    We have the TABLE OF CONTENTS, followed by 100 forms totally 215 pages.

    We checked in the exclusion of the option of number of form page SUMMARY form at the level of the group.

    Followed forms of TABLE OF CONTENTS forms all use FORMSETPAGENUM rule at the bottom of page.

    the first form followed by TABLE OF CONTENTS form the number starts page 1 of 215 and the last form closes at 215 215.

    Now, I want to print the Page number of SUMMARY form only.

    How can do us?  Any thoughts?

    Kind regards

    RAMAN C

    Hello Raman,

    I guess that you included "Exclude the number of pages" option in the form of table of content (TOC).

    There is a limitation in the studio. The functions of page number (PAGE NUM OF FORM / FORMSET PAGE OF NUM) will be ineffective when we choose the option "Exclude the number of pages" in the form of table of contents. Therefore, you was not able to print many pages of form as a table of contents.

    The only way to print the number of pages is to deselect the option "exclude the number of pages. Then you can print the number of pages in the table of contents in the form of table of contents normally. However, this number of pages in the table of contents will add to the Total number of pages form set. The number of pages all forms can be controlled by Postransdal using the script [FORMSET PAGE NUM = TotalPages() - 1]

    Kind regards

  • Text flow create a delay when an overflow creates a new page, which prevents you from reading the page number, in error

    Hi all!

    I create a script to automatically generate a catalogue of photos; the idea is to prepare a master document with a text block in the master full of self flowing, then insert images with their legend by the script, let the system automatically creates the following pages when necessary, by a single stream of text.

    My catalog is divided into sections, each represented by a different master spread; So I know what page I work when the script put there a picture just to link the current page in the master spread appropriate.

    To simplify what I got most of my script here, using text instead of images:

    / * load a master document, only containing a block of empty text in the master spread, connected to the main text stream * /

    var doc = app.open (new File("~/Desktop/mySampleDoc.indd"));

    / * I'm working on the story, thinking that every time that the textframe of first page will be full, we will create another block of text on the next page (automatically created) * /

    var history = doc.pages [0] .textFrames [0] .parentStory;

    / * now, I put a few lines of text in history, pending the creation of a new on the first page will be complete * /

    for (var i = 0; i < 100; i ++) {}

    / * This is the following line: * /.

    .silence story.insertionPoints [-1] = "This is line n." + i + "\r";

    / * here, I want to know what page is the line just created (the error is generated here just in the creation of the new page + block of text) */

    Thispage = story.insertionPoints [-1] .parentTextFrames [0].parentPage.documentOffset;

    / * and now I print the page number * /.

    story.insertionPoints.item(-1).contents = "current page:"+ thispage + "\r"; ".

    }

    The big problem is: when the first block of text is full and overflow is generated, a new page with a new block of text from the main text flow (as the master spread) is generated. but it seems my script requests the page number before the new page with the new text block is born and an error is given.

    It seems that the script goes too fast regarding the creation of the new page.

    If I remove the line thispage = story.insertionPoints [-1] .parentTextFrames [0].parentPage.documentOffset; everything is ok.

    I tried to introduce a delay up to 3 seconds with no effect.

    I tried also to view or zoom in the request of page number, thought new page to force the system to wait for the page is truly born, also without effect (by the way, I wasn't able to view the page in adding the script of the text!).

    Can someone help me?

    A big thank you to everyone

    Roberto

    Have you tried using myDoc.recompose () before the application for compensation?

  • Rounded at most about base 2 "set decimal number."

    If I get the decimal number 121, I want to turn that to 128. If 513, I want to round up to 512. If given 48, I would round which is for 32 or 64 (I fear particularly that!).

    The key is for all decimal entry, I want to limit the return to the 1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512 and so on '2 powers of base' (i.e., 2 ^ n)

    The ROUND function does not, at least as much as I know. Are there any other built-in function to do? Or a single SQL statement that allows to get the same?

    Solved.

    After a lot of research on reading and tests finally discovered the problem with drivers print and collate. Default settings for Microsoft Office 2010 and Adobe Reader are to gather if one that one copy is activated. For some reason any that caused printer to go crazy.  I tried the Standard driver and universal for the printer, but always had the problem of printing too many copies. I used the PostScript driver and it solved the problem.  Now just get the number of copies required. Thank you for your help.
