Printing of brochures in pdf format

Hi all

I am trying to print a pdf file in a brochure with a HP Officejet 8500 A909a in Windows 7, Adobe Reader 10.1.4. The printer double-side booklet, but the pages do not line up, as in the first page is oriented normally, but the reverse is rotated 180 degrees, while the booklet does not work. Does anyone have a solution or workaround?

Try changing the edge that the printer switch the page on. If it's on the long edge, put it on the edge and visa short verse. If this does not work, try using a different driver. Instructions that are below. Let me know what happens.

To use a different print driver for printers HP with Windows 7:
1. click on the start menu.
2 click devices and printers.
3. right click on your printer.
4. Select printer properties.
5. click on the Advanced tab.
6. click on new driver.
7. click on next.
8. Select HP in the first list.
9. Select Deskjet 450 in the second.  If this driver does not work or does not support a feature you need, use the Deskjet 990c printer driver.
10. click Next.
11. click on finish.
12. click on apply.
13. click OK to close the window.

  • Problem of image quality when you print the brochure in PDF format

    Hello!

I searched the whole web, trying to find a solution for my problem, but I couldn't find anything...

I created a vertical page A5 document in InDesign CS6, filled with high quality photos. Now, I want to print in a brochure (in PDF format) in order to save it and print it in a professional facility.

The problem is when I do this, the image quality turns out to be terrible...

I checked my print settings and I can not find something wrong...

Installation - A4 horizontally, and Graphics - Images - send data - is set to all.

Is there anything else I can / try? What can I do it wrong?

Here is a picture of my print settings:

    printsettings_ind.png

When I export the document normally in format PDF the image quality is fine, but it doesn't have the booklet layout I need, it exports all single A5 pages one after the other. If I try to print this pdf file as a booklet in Adobe Reader, the same thing happens to the images, they lose quality.

    Help, please!

    Thanks :))

Have you checked withthei 'professional establishment' as to what they want. Printers will not, in general, impose you the document. It's their job and they do it in a way that corresponds to the study and the equipment they use for printing.

That said, your problem with low quality images is probably the default PDF settings. Change them to something useful in Pringter in the Windows properties, or click the settings button in the print dialog box to access the driver from there and set them as you want. I'm sure that when the default installed PDF printer is 'standard' gives you the output of RGB 72 ppi.

  • Print the brochure in pdf format?

I am trying to export a .pdf file, where the pages are in the print order, do not look at an order (that is, where they are already imposed).

The print booklet in InDesign feature (file > print booklet) works fine for reorder pages and then print, but I'm trying to reorganize pages and save them as a .pdf file.

Another discussion, I've seen on this topic, recommended using the booklet printing and selecting "print to PDF" in its list of printers, but for me, this option does not appear.

I don't know that it's very easy to do, as InDesign has 1) the ability to export to .pdf and 2) the ability to rearrange the pages for printing, but somehow I just don't see how to do this.

    What I have:

    -InDesign CS5

    -Photoshop CS4

    -Windows 7

    Thanks for any help.

The virtual AdobePDF printer is installed as part of the process of installing a COMPLETE of Acrobat version. If you do not have Acrobat, it's why you do not. You could print to file, and then use one of the freeware PDF converters, maybe, but I don't know what the outcome would be. As you work with a file flat, it will probably work OK.

  • Save a brochure in PDF format and keep the structure typical of brochures (NOT for printing)

    Hi guys,.

I've created a brochure using Indesign and I want to save it as a PDF file and email it to people (if I don't want to print it) and thus it must retain the 'typical' folders structure (front cover of the single, then double pages and one page) - so I want to keep it exactly how I created it in Indesign.

But if I export it I always get only the single pages (so double pages are NOT next to each other).

I'm sure that there is an easy solution, but I can't find it and have searched for the answer throughout the day, but he did not...

Perhaps you could help me? It would be great!

    Thank you!

  • Printing of the brochure in PDF format translates into white dotted around a few placed images

    Hi people,

I came across a problem that is causing boxes white dotted to appear all around the images of some, but not all, when I use the print booklet feature and output to PDF. The boxes do not occur when I print to PDF without the booklet option. This leads me to believe there is a problem with the Acrobat version uses the booklet function, but I don't see any way to specify in booklet printing in place.

I use Windows 8.1, ID CC and pictures are the PSD files with jpg on top and the text shown on another layer. They are placed on a graduated color box that is located on a different layer again.

Anyone know how to get around?

Thanks in advance for the advice,

    JO

If it's disjointed and it shows in the press, of transparency flattening preset with a high balance raster and select on the Advanced Options tab when you print. Something like this:

On the right I used the default preset high resolution, on the left, I used the preset above:

  • Save the Illustrator brochure in pdf format

Hello, I am preparing a brochure in illustrator and using a model with 2 work plans (3 sections on each).  When I save it in pdf for printing, I select brands of pads.  But guidelines for the folds do not appear in the pdf file, how do I know where them bend the sections the printer?  Thank you

It is probably best to ask the printer how they want the folds pointing. If this is a standard size tri-fold, they may have a standard configuration.

  • Save the brochure in PDF format in order to 'read '.

I have a model in which the provision is in the order of printing for the sixteen pages

I want to save a PDF file in the order in which it should be read.

I searched online and no instructions I've tried works.

She always saves the PDF file in the print order, follows page 7 page 10

Is there anyway to save a PDF file in which page 11 follows page 10?

Not only is it located in the margins of the printer, but it seems that each Board has been implemented on a single page and pages not face to face.

He is not going to be a way to solve this problem in acrobat.

I think that the only way is going to be by a new single-page-size InDesign document and place the contents inside, either by placing PDFs in a, or by copying existing content into.

  • Need help as soon as POSSIBLE! Unable to print all pages in PDF format!

I am trying to print to PDF a 44 page document for client proofing in Indesign CS4. The selection of the print range I always click 'All' and 'Spreads '.

Week unannounced last he printed only on page 16, with the above parameters. I have all the sections or page numbers or anything that would cause it to not print certain pages.

There is no errors when it generates the PDF, in fact, it goes through the whole print dialog box very well; except the PDF "finished" appears in place early on with only 16 pages, while the printing dialog box is still ongoing. I have to go back later and print range "17-44" so that it can print the rest and even then, it will only print on page 41 and I'll have to go again and print "42-44", so I find myself with 3 documents. "

He does it with several documents. It seems to be random, too, like today, I was able to print another document in its entirety because I couldn't earlier.

What on earth could happen? I have changed all settings as the problem appeared. Thanks for your help.

I think that if there is a problem in the driver, it would be obvious. You might want to try trashing preferences before you do anything more drastic. See replace your preferences

There are scripts to impose, but print booklet is the built-in choices.  That said, unless your printer specifiacally told you to make pasta spread, or if you yourself are the printer, DO NOT. It is the printer to impose your file to fit its equipment and you'll just make more work for everyone, or even make your job cannot print, if you try to do his work for him.

    Hi COIEngineer,

I installed and opened the BullPrint example and was able to reproduce the error you receive when I pointed to a file .vi directly, but was able to print successfully when pointed at an image file. Could possibly feel in a jpg file, print this file in pdf format, and then delete the original (if you do not want the original file).

This error is generated when the pdf printer is not sure how to handle printing of the specified file type.

  • Print to Adobe PDF format generates the PDF, but also generates an error entry in the print queue

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate Edition and Adobe Acrobar 8.
Whenever I print a document in PDF format, the PDF document is generated correctly.
Unfortunately, it also generates an error entry in the Adobe PDF print queue. At each system restart Windows Live One Care detects errors and ask me to fix.

    Hello Pino Sannicolo,

Try to check your print to the printer settings. Right-click on the printer, and then click Properties. Click the Advanced tab and then click on "print directly to printer". Dave D

  • Column width set to 0 when printing to PDF format

    Oracle Application Express Version: 4.2.0.00.27

    Apex listener Version: 2.0

We have a classic report with 20 columns. Out of them, few are conditional.

We use attributes of the print to print the report in PDF format. The problem with the PDF and printed, it keeps the column width of all the columns in the PDF file, even if they are hidden. We put the column width for all columns of 20 in the print attributes section.

Can we set the column width to 0 in the PDF output for columns that have hidden due to the State?

HI - so what you are trying to accomplish? The conditional columns are not included in the PDF file. And the column width for the PDF file is set as a percentage of the available space. So I guess that what you need is for the remaining columns, i.e. those who are included, to fill the available space, but is not because even if the conditional columns are not displayed, they still use place. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to conditionally set the column width, or update the width of the columns according to the conditions. You can try your own custom report layout, or use the APIs of printing for export and under certain conditions using different presentations.

I'll take a good score to see if we can improve the logic using the layouts of integrated report to be a little smarter on the use of space when the columns are excluded under certain conditions.

    Kind regards
    Marc
