• Printing list of keywords used (xml file)

Hello!

Back again after four months of 'quiwt' with the result of the syndrome "empty brain": how to print the exported list of list of keywords, the xml file?

Thanks for all tips (= re-basal gray cells)...

Alexander

I guess that you are referring to the XML file created by keywords > + > tags keyword save to a file.

If you have Excel 2007 and you are quite commonly with Excel, you can import the XML file into Excel and then filter and merge the different columns in which appear the keywords.

Alternatively, you can download the utility free psedbtool and use the option - csv to extract the contents of the catalog, including keywords, in CSV Excel files or other tools can import more easily:

• Special characters external text files

Help, I have a dynamic text box that calls in an external text file. My question is how can you write the code for special characters i.e. & and ' "in the text of the file so that they work! Normal tags work < b > and < li > but I can't the others.

Example of the sentence:
The local store of T & S has a good turnout "jolly".

I tried:
The local T & amp; S store had one & quot; Jolly good attendance and quote:

Have I written badly! Can someone help me?

• Printing with special characters of APEX

Hi all

Thanks for any help. I don't know if this is the right place to put this but I work in the APEX.

I use APEX 4.2.

I am creating a report of data within the Apex. I created my template rtf in word. The question is one of the elements contains data that has special characters such as (& :,@,()) in the field and when I try to run the query from the rtf model gives me an error.)

Is there a way to escape all the characters if I can put the data. When I remove the material the report works very well and characters that are in the field are the only problem I see.

Thank you.

Hi Mary,

Look at the apex api reference apex_escape FRO the ways you can escape to date.

• escape special characters in xml format

I have an XML file that has answers to a questionnaire done in Flash and HAVE 1.0. One of the questions a responses as "> 1" "< 1". This response relates unless one or more than one year. The < appears quite in the form of answers, no doubt because it needs to be escaped. Is that possible or I need to clarify the answer. BTW, is in French I don't speak so I am opting to keep the responses that they are, and work around the problem by taking the leak, if it had been Spanish or English I would rewrite responses comfortably. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Encoding for the XML file is xml version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8".

• XML - text form loading external text contains special characters

Hi @ all...

in my projects, I often use xml files to load external text that I can format it in css and it worked fine until now...

I have a site that I am prograaming in Italian and German and in both languages, there are amount of text that contains special characters like ' to' 'o'' 'e' 'u' 'a' 'u' and so on... the problem is that when I write a text with characters in xml file when the text is loaded into this flash of special characters are not recognized , and instead of them appears a small square...

I tried to load the text from a html instead of an XML file (because in HTML, I know how to write these special characters and let them display right in my pages html... for example = & agrave; but not way... the flash now loades the text & agrave; instead of to...)

How can I solve this problem?

a big thanks to everyone!

Hello

You should probably incorporate the fonts that you use in your FLA file before you publish the SWF file. Just go through the steps in the video @ http://blip.tv/file/2357619 if that helps.

Thank you!

• Windows Search - search for special characters

Hello

I didn't chance for this search for this kind of things via the interwebs/googlebing (probably due to the wick to 'Search'...

In any case, I'm looking in the files for the XML files that contain specific characters, and when I'm looking her apparent there are many parts of these (INDEXED location) are ignored...

for example:

content: ~ "change."

Does NOT return the file that starts:

you are simply looking for a 'Change' returns this file but also returns files that have things in it that I don't want...

Research Action = 'Change' returns nothing...

The CustomerOrder search also returns nothing...

What is the secret for including things like - mark, equal to, oblique, oblique, braces, brackets, single quote, double quote and so on...?

Indexing is not necessary for the search function. It is only necessary for the use of the libraries feature and to be able to search for files in the search/ORB box start and also to allow to change the options to search for specific file types. In any case, I did a test earlier - apparently Windows 7 search search files for all the texts present xml content. I found this link which describes the hoops to jump through. We must be able to search xml files in plain text to the search, not the default filter special MS to xml files.

• Special characters on Custom XSLT model cause error when printing PDF

Hello

Environment:

• Request Express 4.2.5.00.08
• Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.4.0
• WebLogic Server Version 10.3.6.0
• REST (ADR) 2.0.10.289.08.09 Oracle data services
• Altova StyleVision Enterprise Edition 2016 sp1 version

I created a presentation of the State using Altova StyleVision and XSLT version 1.0. So that the model works, I had to manually remove several special characters in the generated .xslt file; some of them added automatically by the software (for example & #160; and & #x200B ;) and others were part of my model (p. ex. & amp;).)

After producing a work plan, I decided to put back the original ampersand (&) I removed the template of the header which is a plain text:

<xsl:text>A & B</xsl:text>

However, I have tried many solutions I found on the web and all of them produce an invalid PDF. Here are some of the approaches that I tried and none of them worked:

<xsl:text>A & B</xsl:text>
<xsl:text>A & B</xsl:text>
<xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes">A & B</xsl:text>
<xsl:text>A & B</xsl:text>

Does anyone have an idea or a suggestion to solve this problem?

Thank you

Erick

The APEX motor is making a number of substitutions with the layout of integrated report. Depending on how you generate your PDF documents - and I guess you try this via the printing API, you must perform some of them in your own code, try the following, hope it solves your problem:

'%' => '%25'

'<' ==""> ' % 26lt;

' > ' => ' % 26gt;

'&' => ' % 26amp;

• Problem with special characters loaded from XML

I have a XML with elements that contain special characters (for example: n, N, a, A, etc.), when I load the code XML and do a Trace () the element responsible, I see that it is loaded correctly, but in the text field is not special characters. For example, in the XML file, I have the Bañostext, but in the field indicated text Baos.

I also tested with stop System.useCodePage = true in the code, but does not.

• Using XML with special characters - not rendered

Hello

I use xml to fill the contents of a Flash file, but we located the contents for different regions of the world. Thus, when the content contains special characters like 'e' that they don't appear at all in flash. I tried using & eacute; but making just the actual code...

Is there a solution for this?

Thank you

Rothrock,

With your help, I was able to determine exactly what was going on. You hit the nail head when you mentioned the police include parameters. The people who originally created the file not selected one of the Latin glyphs or no matter what foreign glyphs, so I changed it and republished.

Another problem was that the XML of files that I saved in Homsite were detects not properly register with the UTF - 8 encoding as default does not read Homesite file encoding when you open a file. I changed the setting and now correctly saves it in a file encoded in UTF - 8. (for those who need to know how to change this setting, go to the top in the Options > settings > file settings > check the box ' Enable non ANSI file encoding. ")

Thanks for your help, might not have thought of it otherwise!

Edit: This accidentally marked as the answer, but Rothrock was indeed the answer n the post above...

• In v31.0, I can view is more 'raw' XML files with line breaks and ' < ' and ' / > ' characters. Is there a setting that will give me this option?

Until a few days ago when I opened a file XML with Firefox, I see the content of the file appears with line breaks and ' < ' and ' / > ' and elements. Like this:

fixed image in < typeOfResource > < / typeOfResource >

<genre authority="marcgt">picture</genre>
<genre authority="nmc">Print, Photographic</genre>
<originInfo>
<dateIssued encoding="marc">1884</dateIssued>
<dateIssued encoding="marc">1884</dateIssued>
<issuance>monographic</issuance>
</originInfo>

Now, it will display like this:

still image picture Print, Photographic 1884 1884 monographic eng electronic

No tags or line breaks. I need to see the entire XML file. How can I configure FireFox to display this for me? One of my colleagues uses v31.0 and XML views with tags and the line breaks for him.

For example, I was looking at files sitemap.xml (search Google for inurl:sitemap.xml). For those who have not declared a style sheet, you should always see the classic "source highlight: presentation

Example: http://www.website.com/sitemap.xml

Are the files that don't appear as similar planned by not declaring a style sheet?

As a temporary workaround, you can view the source to see the original. Either:

• CTRL + u
• Right click > view Page Source
