Problem AnyDVD update 'AnyDVD does not work on your operating system'

For many years, I used a system called 'AnyDVD '. Today I received a memo to update to the latest version I've done dozens of times in the past.
This time, however, I have download the new item and click on "run" the file, I get a pop-up window indicating. "AnyDVD does not work on your operating system. .....
I'm no computer expert so I don't have any idea what to do... I tried a system restore to a few days, but that did not help.
In the meantime, the previous version of AnyDVD still works as always. How can the old system works but now an update does not work on my operating system. That makes no sense.

Thanks for the comments... But does not apply to this problem. AnyDVD has free updates. Problem was somewhere in the system and can be corrected within 24 hours and was able to update with no further incident. Still a mystery, but is no longer a problem.

  • Satellite P100-324 - GPU overheating due to fan does not work in the operating system

    Hello world.

While trying to solve the problem of RAM of 4 GB ([this thread | http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=28374&tstart=0]), I meet another weird thing - gpu overheating due to fan does not work in the operating system.

Now, I restored the XP MCE using the Toshiba Recovery and I was VERY surprised to see that the problem still exists! As soon as loading the system GPU fan stops, and there is only tranquility. The application load is heavy on GPU and reaching 104 results by reducing its GPU and MEMORY clock values and NOT in the activation of the fan.

The same thing happens in 64-bit gentoo. ACPI can be turned on or off, it is not serious, the GPU fan always dies as soon as the system load. In non-OS environments (bios, program of recovery, etc.) the fan works fine, GPU cooling from time to time.

This problem occurs in versions of BIOS: 2.40, 4.00, 4.20.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, since this laptop is my main working tool and I can't let go 14 days (service).

I saw in your other thread that you have updated the BIOS and you have installed several different OS.

Fact is that the BIOS v 4.2 package contains BIOS 32-bit and 64-bit OS.
Your laptop has been preloaded with Win XP MCE 32 bit. Please use the 32-bit BIOS if the original XP MCE running on the laptop.

  • Satellite P105-S6217 - 5-in-1 SD card reader does not work after upgrading operating system

    OK, here's my situation:
I installed my OS Satellite P105-S6217 from Vista Home premium 32 bit to Vista Ultimate 32-bit. I made sure to reinstall all my drivers. I jumped into an SD (2 gigabytes) and nothing happens.
I checked my host adapters Manager/SD device and it says that the device is functioning properly. I noted, however, that, under the tab other devices, something seems wrong with the mass storage controller.

I checked the status of the device and it say the drivers for this device are not installed. I swear I have install all drivers. I'm naïve about what to do next. Can someone advise me?

Do you have the yellow marks in Device Manager?

I searched Toshiba driver download page and there is the Toshiba memory Flash utility. In this package are the drivers for the SD card and the utility to format the SD card.
    If you install this.
    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com-online download-online portable => Satellite-online P105-S6217

After installation, try to format the SD card with the utilities. After that, it should work.

Maybe the SD card not work properly, then try another SD card.

  • PSE 8 does not work after upgrading operating system

I used PSE 8 for a while on Windows XP. I recently "upgraded" to Windows 7 and re-installed PSE 8. After some difficulty in finding my catalog, I had the Organizer to work. However, when I try to pass to the linker, I get a message that says "License for this product has stopped working" also tells me to restart the computer (which has no effect) and displaying the error code 150:30. I contacted Adobe support, and they were useless. I just installed this product on my desktop computer. I considered PSE 19 "redevelopment", but after reading some of the reviews, I don't really want to do. PES 10 apparently has a lot of advertising that cannot be disabled. Anyone know how I can get my 8 version to run? I'm not very happy with Adobe support or visit their web site, and if I can't get this race, I think I'll get other editors to photos. Anyone have any suggestions for an alternative to the PSE?

  • Update/install updated C3 does not work

Update/install updated C3 does not work.

Computer is an Apple C5 Desktop OS 10.5.8, Dual 2.7 GHz PowerPC, 3.5 GB of DDR SDRAM.

I use applications Adobe C3, which now requires updates.  When an Adobe product needs an update, an update notification dialog box appears.  I click ok to download and install the Adobe updates to all my products.  I saw preferences indicating the C3 and a number of other applications.  I click on continue and the download begins.  Installation does not seem to happen or at least it is / was no indication except noting a percentage of completion passing.

The problem is that this process continues and continues and continues during and in the course of every time I clicked on continue.

When I could see the preferences once, I deselected all downloads there.  I then clicked on continue.  Unfortunately, the process has continued and continues and continues whenever I clicked on continue to download, but not to the best of my knowledge.

    There is no error message.

This problem occurs for every download of the update.  I have to click Cancel to stop this process so that I can continue work on computer.

    Help, please.

Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.

    -

You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type CMD in the search box, right-click on CMD. EXE and click run as administrator. Then, from the command prompt type sfc/scannow.

    -

Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

    `

When you get your system in good working condition, I invite you to back up your system up to an external hard drive and make it regular periodic updates.

  • Cannot install Minewsweeper - this app does not work on your device

Recently I updated the day of Windows 7 Professional x 64 for Windows 8 Pro x 64, so I tried to install the Minesweeper in Windows Marketplace 8, I received the error "Sorry, this app does not work on your device."

While I install other pretty good games, including Mahjong MS and MS Solitaire, I wonder what the problem is with the windows due to the problem... Thank you.
PC configuration: 4 GB of RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo E6420, 640GO HDD with 166 GB free on drive C.
    Thank you.

    Hi Alexander,.

It seems that you have a hard time with the installation of Windows game. We need more information to help you in a better way.

    1. you are using a third-party antivirus?

    2. you did it of any hardware or software changes?

    3. is the question confined to the Minesweeper?

Here are a few methods, we can try to solve the problem with the installation of apps...

Method 1: Download and run the troubleshooter modern UI App and check.

    http://download.Microsoft.com/download/F/2/4/F24D0C03-4181-4E5B-A23B-5C3A6B5974E3/apps.diagcab

Method 2: Please follow the troubleshooting steps in the link below.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-8/why-find-install-app-Windows-store

Method 3: check if the region is correct. Follow the steps mentioned.

    a. type 'region' on the start screen. Click on 'settings', and then press ENTER.

    b. on the "Format" tab, select "English (United Kingdom).

    c. click 'Preferences of languages' > 'add language' and add 'your language'.

    d. Once added, select it and click "move up" to make it the first language. Close the window of the language.

    e. in the 'region' window, click on "other settings" and check if the values are the same.

    f. click the "location" tab and change the location of the home to "your country" and then click OK.

Method 4: temporarily disable the antivirus and check if that helps.

    a. press Windows + X, click on Control Panel.

    b. click on programs and features.

    c. right-click on the Antivirus system.

    d. click disable.

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

I hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions. We are here to help you.

  • T610 with Windows Embedded 7 - the system does not license for the operating system image

    Hello community,

I bought a refurbished computer ThinClient T610 that is running a Windows 7 Embedded English. The label on the package says, that the computer ThinClient is allowed with W7E. When I now run Easy Tools installed on the computer ThinClient hp to create a USB Image with the German language, everything works fine: the image is downloaded from the web and put on the stick.

But after you start the stick, the installation program tells me: "the system does not license for the operating system image. What I am doing wrong? The BIOS is already the latest.

Or y at - it another way to transform the operating system in German? There should be an option to download additional languages, but this particual window has no other options. And I have not found any manual way to download other languages.

    Concerning

    Michael

Sometimes it can be so easy... ;-)

    So here's my solution:

    1. go on the Web for hp Support site

    2. go in the software and driver download

    3. set the language of driver on the language of your choice (in fact: it was the main problem)

    4. download an operating system image

    5. run the configuration tool and copy the image of an operating system on a flash drive

    6. restart the workstation and install the os

    7. take advantage of your computer ThinClient in the language of your choice

I don't know, why the hp Easy Tools downloaded the image of evil, but with this solution, that I find myself at the same point, as if they did.
