Problem in MS-Excel conversion to Adobe PDF

I'm trying to convert MS-Excel files to Adobe... but every time when I combine them, it gives me an error messege saying... you can not convert them as yo have no permissions... but it does not work for ms-word and convert them to pdf format by combining

Work around this is to use Publisher to accomplish the task.

Open Publisher and create a new document from the blank Page of the size you prefer.

Then insert a page

Insert a picture from a file

Browse to your excel file and it will insert in the page

Then save them to PDF

  • PDF to Excel conversion hangs / crashes

    Hi all

We have a PDF document at work who is 253 pages in size.  One of our managers were need in Excel format so we downloaded a trial of Acrobat X Pro to do.

When you start the conversion process, everything seems OK until around the end of the progress bar that seems to take forever.  Manager downplayed program continues with other work and after a while trying to maximize to check but the program maximize--when he finally burst upward, the window is narrowed down to just the title bar and none of her minimize, maximize or even close buttons in the upper right of work.

It must be force-closed using the Manager of tasks, and at times we can see that the CPU is more slowed down when it is closed, OR it is about 50%, but can't do anything to raise it to Acrobat and check progress.

After closing or exit the program in its non usable state, there is no sign of a created or current xlsx xls workbook file to the desired location, or on the desktop.

The system is Windows 7 Professional 32-bit and run Office 2010 ProPlus 32-bit.

Y at - it a bug known; or it's just the size of the PDF file causing the problem?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you very much.

    Karl

Very well. If you find that the PDF producer is not Adobe, try this:

File-> Print-> select Adobe PDF printer, and then click on print. Enter a name and save it somewhere.

Open this PDF fried and try to export now.

  • How to get around the problem of printing from the printer driver Adobe PDF for Notepad instead of a PDF Document?

How to get around the problem of printing from the printer driver Adobe PDF for Notepad instead of a PDF Document? I tried the tool 'Repair Acrobat Installation' and other problems listed on the forums, but nothing worked. In the Notepad document is the following ' % [ProductName: distill] % X937B6DD4 not found, using the mail service.» X07BB154E not found, by using the messaging service. % [Page: 1] %% % [Page: 2] % % [Page: 3] % % [Page: 4] % % [Page: 5] % X4EEBB81F not found, by using the messaging service. %% [Error: invalidfont;] OffendingCommand: show; ErrorInfo: CharOffsets ss %% [Flushing: rest of work (end of file) will be ignored] %% %% [warning: PostScript error.] No PDF file produced. ] %%."

The log file indicates that the Distiller cannot find fonts and besides, fonts with very weird names. (These names can often appear when printing from an application, WPF such as Internet Explorer 9, 10 or 11.)

My best guess is that the problem is with the options set for the PostScript of PDF from Adobe printer driver instance. Exit the application you were initially impression since. Open the Adobe PDF printer Properties . Then click the Advanced tab. Then click on the button default printing . This should produce a significant window default print Adobe PDF is already opened in the Adobe PDF settings tab. On this tab, there is a checkbox to rely on system only fonts; do not use fonts in the document. If this box is checked, uncheck it and press apply , then OK. Then go to the general tab and press the button Preferences giving the window entitled Adobe PDF printing preferences. Again once, look for the box to rely on system only fonts; do not use document fonts. If this box is checked, uncheck it and press apply , then OK. Then back in the Adobe PDF Properties dialog box main, press apply (if it is enabled), and then click OK. Re-enter the app you were original print and try to print again. Let us know if that fixes the problem.

    -Dov

PS: Unfortunately, rely on fonts system only turned on by default, causing problems for many applications. I always recommend turning it off (i.e., unchecking it)!

  • Problem printer virtual 'Adobe PDF' with characters PDF of Mozilla

I'm on a laptop HP with Win7x64 Pro with all the latest updates. I have this page http://www.neowin.net/news/adobe-flash-player-1700169 and I am posting on 3 browsers - Chrome, Mozilla and Pale Moon. Pale Moon is sort of built on basis of Mozilla and is essentially a stripped down version of Mozilla.

Now in the case of "Mozilla" and "Pale Moon", I try to print a PDF of the above page, by pressing Ctrl + P and obtaining the standard print dialogue. I then choose "Adobe PDF" and normally I would get a normal PDF - search web page. At least that's what happened during the last 5 years of my use of Adobe Acrobat Pro and PDF Creator called 'Adobe PDF' (I think he called a virtual printer). Unfortunately when I print a PDF of the page above "Mozilla" and "Pale Moon", I get the PDF to the following research:

With Chrome, however, when I "Print" or "Save as", a pdf version of the same page, the PDF file is OK... no problem with the text. The PDF file seems normal... the characters are in English, because they are supposed to be, only not crazy - looking as in the picture above.

In addition, in Mozilla and Pale Moon, when I try to print the same page, instead of using "Adobe PDF" I choose "Microsoft XPS Writer" *.xps outputs properly document and the text is in English it is supposed to be, which led me to think that the problem is with virtual printer Acrobat.

I had the same problem on Mozilla and Pale Moon with other sites, too. Just do not remember now who it was, but basically, it's the same thing as the screenshot above.

Also go into the language and region settings > Administration > parameters system change in order to change the language used for non-Unicode programs. He was initially attached to the English and tried other languages and then back to English, but so far without success. Maybe I should choose a specific language? He left on the English, but the problem is still there... PLS help

What I see are 2 possibilities:

    1. you have to "rely on system fonts. "selected. Uncheck the box which.

    2. (probably 1) fonts will not be embedded if is not licensed for embedding. Maybe it's a problem from a browser.

Printing configuration file should not be a problem. That attempts to embed all fonts. You can uncheck remove logs too and see what is in the newspaper after the creation of the file. The log file can give clues on police issues.

  • When I convert a PDF file to Excel is downloaded the PDF from Adobe to convert?

I bought an annual subscription so that I can convert PDFS to Excel, but if the PDF file must be downloaded to Adobe before it can be converted I'm not sure it will work for me because it's a PDF company and I do not think that security policy allows for the download of information about the company from third-party servers. I looked for a stand-alone Adobe converter for it but have not found one.

Adobe PDF, Adobe ExportPDF Pack - download Adobe.

Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Acrobat Standard - run locally on the computer.

Printing of the .pdf of the 2013 project file will stop when the name of the file must be written. Project 2013 crashes. Anyone know what the problem is between 2013 project and Adobe Acrobat 9?

The family of products Acrobat 9.x passed in mid-2013 "end of Support".
Using Acrobat 9 of MS Project via PDFMaker stops with Office 2007.
To 2013 Office support, you must use Acrobat XI (11.0.1) or newer.

  • Problem with InfoPath via the Adobe pdf printer print

    Hello

It seems that in some cases to the printer Adobe pdf makes the text box a little narrower than THE InfoPath. So we have packaging Word and number of lines in the PDF can be only in the InfoPath form. But the output area is not resolved. So the end of the text may be corrupted:

I checked this approach, but it does not help:

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Acrobat/KB/missing-or-garbled-text-printing.html

The same behavior is with different IEs.

Could you please help to solve this problem?

Must be a bug in InfoPath from the Adobe PDF printer simply reports the available printer box and print what they say in print, where it says print. Could be a problem with the printer driver change. Try to set default Adobe PDF before you start InfoPath, might work.

  • Adobe PDF printing preferences problem

We have seven machines 64-bit Windows 7 with Adobe Pro XI (part of the Technical Communication Suite).  On the same machine, we are unable to change the settings Adobe PDF printing preferences for the following:

Adobe PDF security: it is grayed out and we cannot change. No selection is available in the menu dropdown.

To Adobe PDF file: while not gray and we are unable to change and no selection is available in the menu dropdown.  On other computers, it is listed as ' output PDF from Adobe:

What should we do this one computer, so that we can modify the two line items?

I removed the printer from the machine and took the repair function on Acrobat.  I changed the default settings: article several times.  Who has not solved the problem.  I suspect that it is perhaps a difference in the actual driver.  Any suggestions?

Log in as the local administrator of the machine.  This does not mean the network administrator account or the working group administrator account.  This means the owner/administrator of the local computer ( Log using built in administrator |) Create the local admin account. 7, 8, Windows Vista ).  You are able to access these features when logged in as the administrator of the local computer?  If Yes, then it is a probably correctable account permissions problem.  If not, then you have a machine permissions problem, which is more serious.

  • Problem with the display of Adobe PDF documents

Problem with the display of Adobe PDF documents

I have a Windows 7 Home Premium computer

I read all the suggestions and I tried to download several versions of Adobe Reader for Windows 7 and Vista http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/.

Before you download each version, I would delete the current version with uninstalling programs for the control panel.

After each new installation I shut down the computer and restart the computer.

I tried to download the versions with and without going through my antivirus (CA Total defense) running.

After downloading, I thought that the version downloaded successfully.

I have read the help of Acrobat http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-reader-installation-windows.html and followed the instructions.

    None of the above helped.

The problem is that any version of Adobe Reader, download, I can't open a PDF file and read it. Or the drive itself will remain open.

    1. If I try to open the drive from the desktop link or real program menu, the Player opens for 5 seconds and then closes spontaneously. If I try to click on the Player menu (File, Edit, View, window, help, tools), then an alarm will sound and the menu does not open. Soon after, the reader is closed.

    2. If I try to open the drive by double clicking on a PDF file then the Player opens but the document is not displayed (only the grey player screen PDF is specified), then the drive closes after 5 seconds on its own.

The desktop shortcut shows like 'red icon Adobe Reader'. But the real program menu icon shows as empty a folder icon.  All documents in PDF format displayed as Adobe PDF icon.

I tested several PDF files and none will open on this computer, but they will open on other computers.

I created a word document and saved as a PDF file. It looked as if it had record properly (a the appropriate icon) but when I try to open it according to point 2 above the document is not displayed and then then the drive closes after 5 seconds on its own.

Anyone have any ideas on what is happening and how can I fix?

Could you please respond in this forum and send me an email at [deleted]

    I'm so confused and frustrated.

I would try Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, and then double-click Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
