  • Problem in sending the request to the server, MDS started after expired connection error

    Hello

    I have a problem when sending request to the server. I need to manage the time of connection error. When I send a request from my device to serve and connection time-out error, I need to send the request back to the server.  To test this error, before sending the request, the MDS quit and then I try sends the request to the server. After 2 minutes, the appliance up Connection Timed out Error.

    Now when I start the MDS and refer the request to the server, the request sent when the connection has expired also reached the server. (Totally 2 request are sent to the server).

    What is the behaviouir of MDS? If so how should I handle this.

    or have I missed something on my side?

    I use BlackBerry 4.2.1 JDE with SDM (4.5.0)

    Thanks in advance.

    (Note: see this link for the behavior of MDS.)

    Hi all,

    I finally found the solution.

    Everytime I go to start the net, I check that the connection is available or not by using below codes...

    HttpConnection conn=null;try    {    conn = (HttpConnection) getConnection(myURL);      if(conn == null)     {           Inform the user the process is in offline       }     catch(Exception e)      {      }      finally      {                try                {                    conn.close();                    conn = null;                }                catch (Exception e)                {                    conn = null;                }            }

    When this function is execute the connection is not closed properly.

    After that I got the connection error, start the MDS, meanwhile runs unclosed connection.

    Now, I removed the check above, its works very well.

    I made a mistake. Finally, I saw that and correct it.

    Once again thanks for all your opinions and answer.

    Sorry for my English.

    Hello

    I tried several times to upload a file to the server of the University Complutense of Madrid from the adf page, but I can't do it.

    First: I have used this method to do, but it feel that the file downloaded successfully and when I open the server I haven't found this...

  • Cannot send e-mail to the server... get alerts of demand... except on a local wireless connection

    This had led me batty since I got the phone.  My mail server is on my local network.  If I send an email from the local network without wire of the pre to my mail server quite well.  If I try to send an email via the network of sprint - or actually on the network wireless anyone, he's going through.  I can sit here a my firewall monitor and the see through and I can also see it connect to my email server, so I know not that there is a good connection there.  I don't have any problems with imap works in any situation with the pre, so I'm sure something happens.

    My firewall rules are the same for IMAP/IMAP-SSL/ESMTP/ESMTP-SSL (with just the ports change.)  I am able to send an email from my client of the laptop to my mail... Server and able to send an email from my Treo 755 p using snappermail on the network of sprint very well.

    The firewall is PFSense 1.2

    Mail server is Courier 0.62.1 running on Centos 4.7 (no firewall running ip)

    Really confused!

    Thank you

    Done this, and it still doesn't get me anywhere.

    But I end up finally solve the problem...

    It seems that my server ident checks had to timeout... who was taking too long for the final customer... so needless to say I said to my server does not perform a check ident and email send accelerated time.  good thing is this speeds also send other things too.

    It seems that the timeout for sending electronic mail of the pre is 'short' as< 30="" seconds="" or="" so..="" i'm="" not="" sure="" what="" the="" standard="" timeout="" should="" be..="" but="" my="" issue="" appears="" to="" be="">

    Thanks halula for trying to direct me towards some additional info, but that debug information was not useful... I ended up doing some pre openssl commands and synchronization between local and remote have been, well... huge... once I passed this point... a moment of work helped google in the right direction.

  • Sending a file from the server to the client

    Hello

    Inside of a table, I have a commandButton control which, by pressing on it, I call a method in a bean. Inside the method, I want to send a file that is located in the server in a path like C:\tmp\myfile.pdf to the customer. How can I do?

    Thank you
    Will do

    To do this, you use a fileDownloadActionListener you put on an existing button. Using the properties of the listener, you specify the content type of hat, a file name (not necessarily the actual file name), and a method in a bean that is called when the use clicks the button. In this method, you listen to the file (from your servers path) to the client.

  • Flash builder 4.6 - send batch data to the server (php connected)

    Hi, I recently downloaded flashbuilder 4.6 and started developing my first mobile application.

    Just to explain the meaning of my problem/question, I want to manage a local database offline (insert data into a table) and manually sincronize a database server (push a button-> add batch of documents to the Server table).

    Suite of tutorials, I was able to manage a local database sqlite, I had the connection to the database server (mySQL) with php and have populated Data/Services Panel (services test works very well).

    Unfortunately I'm not able to send local data, batch to the server. A few lines of code below (debug I got no error and no results).

    Something wrong in the code?

    Or did I take a wrong way to solve my problem?

    Thanks in advance for your interest

    protected function button_clickHandler(event:MouseEvent):void

    {

    var LocalDatabase:ArrayCollection =... < loaded from the database sqlite >

    var RecordToAdd: MydataTable;    table of server data to fill

    for (var i: int = 0; i < LocalDatabase.length; i ++)

    {

    RecordToAdd = new MydataTable;

    RecordToAdd.Field1 = LocalDatabase [i]. Field1;

    RecordToAdd.Field2 = LocalDatabase [i]. Field2;

    ...

    createMydataTableResult.token = MydataTableService.createMydataTable (RecordToAdd);

    createMydataTableResult.token = MydataTableService.commit ();

  • Problem with special characters when retrieving the server information

    Hi all

    I use a HttpConnection to get data from a server, and sometimes there are a few very unusual characters. The data comes from the server in the format UTF-8 and converted into ISO-8859-1 does not work for Cyrillic more obscure.

                byte[] buffer = new byte[10000];
                int bytesRead = responseData.read(buffer);
                while (bytesRead > 0) {
                    baos.write(buffer, 0, bytesRead);
                    bytesRead = responseData.read(buffer);
                }
                baos.close();
                connection.close();

                screen.requestSucceeded(baos.toByteArray(), contentType);
            } catch (IOException ex) {
                screen.requestFailed(ex.toString());
            }

    Everything works fine, but I really want to convert the output to UTF-8.

    Thanks for any help in advance.

    Does that help?

    InputStream responseData = connection.openInputStream ();
    ubyte [] buffer = IOUtilities.streamToBytes (responseData);

    responseData.close ();

    Connection.Close;

    String redsponseString = null

    try {}

    responseString = new String(buffer,"UTF-8");

    }

    responseString was correctly converted using UTF - 8.

    You might want to empty the bytes received using something like this:

  • Javafx 2.0 deployment request to the server web and accsess by URL

    Hi all

    I built a JavaFx 2.0 using Netbeans 7.1 application. He created an html file, a jar jnlp file a file with the name of the project. Now, I want to deploy my application on a server for example glassfish or tomcat so that any user can access the URL.

    Is it possible to deploy the application on the server. If so, how?

    I found a link
    http://docs.Oracle.com/JavaFX/2.0/deployment/deploy_overview.htm
    Here he described various mode of executions. In a run mode it say that we can launch the application from a remote server using Web Start. But I'm not able to get the steps how to achieve this.

    Thank you
    Vikas

    You deploy a client application via a network, you cannot be sure that the computer that is running the client application will have the configuration property file in the location you are trying to access (unless your application he wrote). Even if the file is there that you must sign your application deployed to have access to it, which is usually an unnecessary hassle.

    As an aside, use the code format specifiers (see thread sticky at the top of the forums) to apply inlining code in forum posts because it makes the code more readable.
    -----
    For that to work, you must package configuration properties inside your pot with the rest of your resources, then you can load it via:

    pro.load(LoginPage.class.getResourceAsStream("config/config.properties");

    OR, if you can't bundle configuration properties in the pot, for example because you want to vary the configuration regardless of deployment of a new pot, you can host on your Web server configuration to a relative location where host you your application and get it from here:

    HostServices hosting = getHostServices();
    pro.load(new URL(hosting.resolveURI(hosting.getDocumentBase(), "config/config.properties")).openStream());

    For example, if the application jar is located in the ROOT/webapps of tomcat directory, and you want to access config/config.properties using HostServices, then place config.properties in the webapps/ROOT/config/config.properties

    Now, if you have specific user rather that wide application configuration, you will need to implement a web service for storing specific user configuration and to read and write from that or you need read and write the configuration of the user on the local drive by using the jnlp FileService for unsigned application , or any where on the disk if you have a signed application.

    However, it seems that your configuration is to store only a hostname, the port and service network app path. If you can make the path to the app for your network service in relation to where you deploy your application and save the relative path as a constant in your application, you could get only the information of:

    HostServices hosting = getHostServices();
    URL serviceURL = new URL(hosting.resolveURI(hosting.getDocumentBase(), APP_PATH));
    ServiceCommunicator.HOSTNAME = serviceURL.getHost();
    ServiceCommunicator.PORT = serviceURL.getPort();
    ServiceCommunicator.SERVER_APP_PATH = serviceURL.getPath();

    In this way, you wouldn't have to define, maintain and load a separate config.properties file.
    In addition, with the path of the service against your deployment application facilitates application host elsewhere and denies the need to sign the application for network services to work when the application is deployed in embedded mode webstart or browser.

    I thought that you could load a properties with just a url string, but it must in fact be a stream, so I've updated the call to load the properties in order to take a course of water.
    Has changed

    pro.load(hosting.resolveURI(hosting.getDocumentBase(), "config/config.properties");

    TO

    pro.load(new URL(hosting.resolveURI(hosting.getDocumentBase(), "config/config.properties")).openStream());

  • HTTPS connection to the server with the host name which has its IP address

    Hi all

    I work in a development of the solution where a server application is running in a machine and hosts of Application Service SOAP over HTTPS. The server has the certificates for its IP address. My client application tries to use the SOAP Service; but when I connect to the Application Server using the HOST name in the URL, I get the SSLException indicating that the HOST name does not match name the object.

    If I use the IP address in the URL, it works well - but I do not like the server application can move to different IP dynamiccaly - if you are using DNS is our solution to hide this complexcity from client applications.

    Help, please.

    Kind regards
    Kaja

    the HOST name does not match name the object.

    The host name does not have the name of the topic in the server certificate. He agrees with host.domain name.

  • How to send a file to the server using the flash?.

    How can I send a photo for example to set up a virtual catalog and preview my album?
    I use a simple form with 5 fields of transmission and the small image after submission.

    If you want to download a file to your server using flash, use the Flash filereference class (and its upload() method) and backend scripts.
