problem installing with lightroom.  error: change of modules, number of required folder?

Hi daves.

This problem normally occurs when the files of Adobe to launch Lightroom do not have read/write permissions.

Please follow this article changing the error modules and grant permissions to required files

Here's a double thread Lightroom: "an error occurred when attempting to change modules."

Let us know if this helps

    Help.

    I can not open on my new iMac LR5. Using OSX 10.9.1, LR 5.3. I always get the message "error on the evolution of the modules", and no catalog will open. I can't create a new catalog, or open an old. I deleted and reinstalled LR, CC, all support and pref files, several times using the uninstallation, the drag and the trash, no help.

    Running the same app, same OS, MacBook Pro with NO problems. I had transferred images, catalogues of an old MacPro with OSX 10.7.5, but I do not see where that should cause a problem. I put the same catalog on the MBP and LR works very well.

    Any help is sincerely appreciated.

  • Problem installing SP2 - 0xc0190036 error code

    I know this question has been posted before, but not for a while, hoping so it could be a new reflexion autour?

    I DO NOT have a Vista dvd/cd so please do not suggest I reinstall.

    I have a HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook 32-bit

    AMD Athlon X 2 Dual-Core QL-65 2.10 GHz

    2.00 GB OF RAM

    I have 1 installed SP.

    When I try to install SP2, it hangs at a black screen error code! 0xc0190036! 2319/67734 (sceregvl/inf)

    I have to shut down and restart using the repair of the system.

    Advice on Tech forums, I ran chkdsk, tried new and no change.  I did a system scan and it found corrupt files but was unable to fix.  I denied access when I tried to see the log files. (although as an administrator)

    I suspect that damaged files can cause another error I have:

    Windows Media Center Store Update Manager kept coming with an error message saying that it had stopped working. (don't want it to run in any case, never use, so have turned off)

    My computer still works ok without the installation of SP2, with one MAJOR exception: I record now is no longer Word documents (no responses to 'save' or ' save under ' orders - no drop-down list, nothing.) I need to fix this!

    I just give up and hand the thing to someone to reinstall Vista? Can I go directly to Windows 7 instead?

    Thanks for any help

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, Acer, recovery disk/s etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
  • Problem installing windows 7 (error ACPI COMPLIANT)
    Hi guys. Recently bought a Dell Inspiron N5110. It was windows 7 32 bit installed and I wanted to move to windows 7 64 bit, so I installed it and at first start after installation is complete, she flashed a BSOD and restarted, this time, he gave me an option to enter the recovery mode (or something of the sort), and when I chose that Yet once gave me a BSOD with the error that my BIOS is not fully ACPI-compatible. Then I tried to install 7 32 bit instead, but that no longer works. So I installed xp, it has installed quite easily, but I can't find its drivers.
    Here are the solutions I tried
    Updated to the latest version of the BIOS
    Tried changing some option in the BIOS from AHCI to ATA
    Read in a forum that removing the battery and draining through power (he didn't)
    Someone said: they released their stick of Ram of 1 GB and it worked (it didn't)
    Someone said windows installation USB might HELp (it didn't)
    So yes, I'm completely exhausted have tried for two days, but can't do anything.
    However, I have read somewhere by trying a different CD for WIndows 7, it worked, who have not yet tried. That I should? Any chance of this working?
    Or should I try Windows 8 instead?
    Guys, any input would be appreciated.
    Thank you
  • Serious performance problems, base with Lightroom CC that I can't explain.
    I know Lightroom CC took some flak recently due to the recent update, personally I'm fairly happy with the dehaze brush and new camera profiles.
    However, I am not satisfied is how the simple basic tasks appear slower.
    I mean what basis...
    I created a new catalog for Lightroom 5 and each with 50 700 MB Tiffs in CC.
    I timed it export TIFF - Jpeg @80 % quality and 5000 px on the long edge.
    5 Lightroom completed in 01:58 sec
    CC of Lightroom (last) finished at 02:48.
    One thing that stands out, it's that with Lightroom 5, the CPU usage was constant from 33 to 36 percent. With CC, it is 17% and 60% and it bounced around in this beach all along.
    I7, 3930K 12 kernel running.
    The new brush Dehaze is also available in ACR 9.2. You can revert to a version of LR work and continue to use this brush on the images that need it.
    Hello
    I think I'm doing ok with my installation.  My problem is that I don't know how to go beyond this problem:
    None of the vmmon modules pre-built for VMware Server is suitable for your
    kernel running.  Do you want this program to try to build the vmmon module for
    your system (you must have a C compiler installed on your system)?
    If I answer Yes, I get the following:
    Using compiler "/ usr/bin/gcc". Environment variable CC to override.
    What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running
    kernel? / usr/src/linux/include
    The path "/ usr/src/linux/include" is not an existing directory.
    What would be the best way to solve this problem?  I really want to do this race.
    Ok
    This is not a forum for Linux, is a Vmware forum...
    When you ask for something in a forum, it is good to have a GOOD ATTITUDE...
    In any case...
    I'll do it so easy
    To see if you have installed linux-headers, all you need is to execute this comand:
    dpkg-l | grep linux - headers-'uname - r '.
    To install the linux-headers necessary according to your kernel running:
    apt - get install linux - headers-'uname - r '.
    And that's all.
