Problem loading data for Planning Server through ODI

Hi all

I am facing problem while loading data for Planning Server through ODI.
I created the interface with flat as a source of data as file below

Location data load Cube name POV cost per seat
Ctbn_PnL of Tidel Equifax, Budget, Working_2010, FY10, Wk1, Local 333
Ctbn_PnL of Tidel Equifax, Budget, Working_2010, FY10, Wk2, Local 444
Ctbn_PnL of Tidel Equifax, Budget, Working_2010, FY10, Wk3, 555 Local
Ctbn_PnL of Tidel Equifax, Budget, Working_2010, FY10, Wk4, Local 666
Budget, Working_2010, FY10, Wk5, Tidel Equifax, Local 777 Ctbn_PnL
Ctbn_PnL of Tidel Equifax, Budget, Working_2010, FY10, Wk6, Local 888
Budget, Working_2010, FY10, Wk1, PADI Ctbn_PnL Equifax, Local 222
Budget, Working_2010, FY10, Wk2, PADI Ctbn_PnL Equifax, Local 111
Budget, Working_2010, FY10, Wk3, PADI Ctbn_PnL Equifax, room 345
Budget, Working_2010, FY10, Wk4, PADI Ctbn_PnL Equifax, Local 346
Budget, Working_2010, FY10, Wk5, PADI Ctbn_PnL Equifax, Local 347
Budget, Working_2010, FY10, Wk6, PADI Ctbn_PnL Equifax, Local 349

And the target as an application of Planinng. Interface has been properly executed, but are not filled with data in the form of Plannning or Essbase.
I obtained the information in the log file after running the interface:

Please help me in this grace,
Srinivas

You are right. The table that you have described is in the format 'Generation' (the highest to the lowest level of the hierarchy). The KM of planning requires data to load in format "Parent/child". You must create multiple interfaces (one for each pair of generation) or use a view to make the transformation.

While a view seems to be the easier choice, note that ODI will not be able to perform any analysis of lineage of data on the integration process.

Hope this helps,
Matt

    What happens if we load data into 2 different plan types.

    Do need separate configurations through data charge directors in planning for each load.

    So if we have different interfaces, user should configure the planning before the execution of each adapter?

    Yes boths options seem fine if you cannot use the essbase KM.

    If you want to fetch data from the essbase planning data and load into a table of interface?
    The table interface is essentially just a relational table, there are a number of ways to get order dataexport data, report script, cdf, essbase mdx.
    You could automate with scripts, ODI, or if you are willing to pay then stars analytical.

  • Loading data to SQL server for the Oracle database

    I want to create a table in oracle db table in sql server. Table is huge that he has obtained the documents 97,456,789.
    I created the link (HS) db in the oracle database that points to the sql server. I choose this oracle db on the link table.

    Select * from 'dbo '. "T1@dblink;

    I shot below to create the table.
    create table t2 nologging parallel (degree = 3) as select * from 'dbo '. "T1@dblink;
    and its taking a long time... but its operation...

    is there any other method to do this and and fill the table in oracle db faster.

    Please notify. Thank you.

    I doubt that parallel processing will be used because it is unique to Oracle (using rowid varies in general) and not SQL-Server.

    is there any other method to do this and and fill the table in oracle db faster.

    Part of the performance overhead is to pull that data from SQL Server to Oracle in the whole of the liaison network between them. This can be accelerated by compressing the data first - and who then transfer them over the network.

    For example: using + bcp + to export the data in the SQL Server box to a CSV file, compress/zip file, scp/sftp file Oracle and then to unzip there. In parallel and direct treatment of load can now be done using SQL * Loader to load the CSV file into Oracle.

    If it is a basic Linux/Unix system, the process of decompression/unzip can be run in parallel with the SQL * process Loader by creating a pipe between the two – where the decompression process writes data uncompressed in the pipe and SQL * Loader reads and loads the data that is available through the pipe.

    Otherwise you are PQ own transformation. Assume that the data is date varies. You can create a procedure on Oracle that looks like this:
    {code}
    create or replace procedure as copyday (day) is
    Start
    Insert / * + append * / into local_tab select * from remote_tab@remotedb where col_day = day;
    -Add logging info, validation, etc.
    end;
    {code}

    You can now start 10 or more of these different days and run it in the background using DBMS_JOB.

    The PES of planning that you applied contains a new version of the HspJS.jar so that could be a possible way of this error could have surfaced. For me personally, I think you'd better get everything patched up to the 11.1.2.3.500 PSU continuing at least before that it is a known problem in this version and there are the notes I have mentioned previously, to help patching.

    It is clear from the error that there is a mismatch in versions of the Agent of ODI FDMEE with the Planning Server jar files. One thing you might be able to try on this front would be to save the current file HspJS.jar in the C:\Oracle\Middleware\odi\oracledi.sdk\lib House FDMEE ODI and place a copy of the same file of your planning server in the C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\Planning\lib folder (or equivalent).

    I've not personally seen this error before where the 500 patch had not been implemented well. Decide which approach you take will be up to you really, but I suggest to patch to 500 as best as possible and go from there.

  • Problem loading swfs to the server group.

    Hi all

    I have a SWF that has dependent files, and it does not load on the server so that it plays. It plays on my computer when I click on the index.html file that accompanies the swf file that I want to play, but not when I load it on the server for my web site.

    The file I was sent to load on the server includes

    a subfolder with the swf file that I need to play, but also

    an index.html file,

    a file menu.swf

    a file debug.swf

    a file exit.swf and

    an AC_RunActive Content.js file.

    Everything on the site, no matter what path I'm going to get there, loading appears a white screen. The files are there on the server, I can see them, and the size of the file is the same as on my local machine, so I think they have loaded correctly, they just don't play. The closest I've seen is when I make the path to the menu, but a progress bar appears for the menu and he never finishes loading.

    I don't do flash files myself, so I don't even think that I have the vocabulary to ask the right questions. Y at - there a name for this kind of grouping of files (as described above)?  How can I load it on the server so that it plays?

    I work in a Dreamweaver site. I don't know if the problem is how I do the path in Dreamweaver or how I'm loading the files on the server... or something else. I tried to ask this question in the Adobe Flash forum and they sent me here.

    We strive to distrigute data feature to load basic users.

    However, it seems that in our tests of this kind of users can only use the option "replace it with security.

    If they try to run the load of data without selecting this option, the system returns the following error:

    What is very odd that the period of that December is available for entry to the same users through data entry forms.

    Help, please.

    There are no roles that control. The only role that comes close is the role of reviewer access of management control process.

    Other than that, it is the safety of the classes that control where you can load data. But if you have access to an intersection, you can load.

    If I'm away for any other server on the same network, I can then remote to the server from this server, but not directly, as I have other.
    Can I remotely from my office at work to this server.  I can't just access this server from my home PC.
    We are just confused...

    Hello

    Thanks for the quick response.

    As the computer is on a domain network, the question would be better suited in the TechNet Forums. I would recommend posting your query in the TechNet Forums.

  • Problem loading data HFM

    Hi all

    We had a request for EPMA Type HFM sizes have been local, validated and successfully deployed application.

    We tried to load data into the application of HFM and loading the data has been a success.

    Then, we decided to convert all the local dimension of the HFM application mentioned above as shared dimensions. After the conversion of all of the dimensions dimension shared with success that we get the error when loading data in the same application of HFM (the app is valid and can be deployed after a change)

    The error log is below:

    Load data started: 29/11/2014-10:53:15.

    Line: 216, error: cell invalid for the period Oct.

    Wanted to know if there is something I might have missed if conversion of local dimension in sharing (if there is any sequence to do, or no constraint that I am not aware, although the conversion looks good, as demand is validated and deployed after changes)

    What can be the reason for missed data load, can anyone help?

    Thank you

    Rachid

    Hello

    I could watch the properties of account for this account (89920000) and see the TopCustom1... 4Member. you will find the reason behind the invalid cells.

    When you convert the local shared dimensions, have you checked the "Dimension Association' accounts and society?

    He does not lose the dimension association if a proper sequence is not respected.

    Kind regards

  • Load data for a YEAR in a scenario of periodicals

    Dear,

    I think that it is an easy one, but I want to be 100% sure of what I should expect from HFM.

    Need to load balances for a YEAR in a regular scenario (periodic = default view, zeroview = periodic, consolidate the CDA = no)

    I have to specify the "CDA" string in the file, that I download?

    Periodic data are automatically calculated as the difference between consecutive CDA balances?

    Is there some advise/alert should I consider?

    A big thanks to all the world.

    Yes, you must specify the CDA in the files that you upload.  As a general rule, you want to avoid to load data to a recurring scenario for a YEAR, and vice versa.  In your example, a question if you have loaded data from one YEAR to a flow account and then the amount of your VOE in the month following to zero resulting in your not having data file is not a record for this intersection next month.  For example, if you have loaded $1,000 in January to sell your account but then the amount of the CDA in February is zero (rare but it happens) then you would not have a record of this account data from sale in February so that after loading you expect to see a zero number CDA in HFM.  However, with the zeroview the value of periodic, HFM expects a periodic amount and when you're not busy it assumes that the periodical (not a year) is zero and that it derives from the number of CDA.  In this case, it would show a value of February of the periodical of $0 and $1,000 for a YEAR when you expect $0 CDA and - periodical of $1,000.  Bottom line is that you should take periodic data to a periodic script and vice versa.

  • Creating data Hyperion Planning Server by using SDK

    Hi all

    I am trying to create a database server Hyperion Planning technology using ODI SDK... If the code to find the ORACLE technology is
    OdiTechnology oracleTechnology = (odiInstance (IOdiTechnologyFinder)
    + .getTransactionalEntityManager () .getFinder (+
    OdiTechnology.class)) .findByCode ("ORACLE");

    So what would be the value of findByCode() to Hyperion Planning and Essbase?... I tried several combinations, but nothing seems to work

    Thanks in advance,

    NJ

    Hi NJ,.

    You can find the Code of your technology, if you double-click on the technology in the topology.

    Hyperion Planning: HYPERION_PLANNING
    Hyperion Essbase: HYPERION_ESSBASE

    It will be useful.

    Kind regards

  • Problem loading data using utilities

    Hi all

    I am trying to load data from spreadsheet (550 files) using utilities of the Apex.

    I have a DATE field in the worksheet. And about 100 records could not be loaded.

    I get the below error.

    ORA-01843: not one month valid

    The date in the field format is DD/MM/YYYY. I think that the source must have a different data type. And its cause me this error.

    How can I fix it? Also, I used the built in 'format' function and set it to DD-MON-YYYY(since it's the requirement) before loading the data.

    Versions:

    3.1 and 9i db.

    Thanks in advance.

    See this possible solution. It allows pasting of the excel data in an APEX application... : http://dbswh.webhop.net/dbswh/f?p=BLOG:READ:0:ARTICLE:126300346812330
