• Objects not no projection in the layers panel

  I use Indesign CS4 on Mac 10.6.8. I have a problem with my layer panel-> it does not show a disclosure triangle, so I can't expand a layer to show its objects. The objects are certainly on the layer - if I click on "Select all the objects on the layer" all objects are selected in fact so, technically, they are on the layer-> I can't see the fall down in the layers panel.

  When you select an object it must be a square of light color on the right edge of the layer name. Drag on the new layer. Or you can cut and paste in place on the new layer (to paste remembers layers off).

• My layers panel will never appear when I opened PS CS6

  Every time I open Photoshop CS6, say I open a PSD containing like 9 or more layers. Well when I open it, the layers do not appear. In this example, I created a new file and duplicated the bottom 10 times and still without layers show.

• Cannot see the layers in the layers panel

  I don't see all the layers in the layers panel, it happens after working for awhile, I tried:

  -Resetting the workspace

  -Switch to a new workspace and then switching back.

  

  I contacted Adobe support and they helped me solve the problem.

  -Close Illustrator

  -Come on in your local/library/Preferences (if you don t know how, I can tell you)

  -Rename the folder 'Adobe Illustrator 18 settings' to something else

  -Open Illustrator. Now it works!

• Layers panel do not scroll

  Since the recent update, my layers panel scrolls is no longer when it is docked. It seems that it is thinking that it displays all layers, if it is not. When I've disconnect it and have free floating, I get the scroll bar and scrolling works again with my mouse. Is there a setting I'm missing or something? I really need this problem because it is incredibly annoying and slows down productivity.

  I can't make it there.  Try to reset your workspace and if it is, reset the preferences.

• How can I add new images to the layers panel?

  I am brand new with photoshop elements 11.  I'm having a problem understanding how to import new images in the layers panel.  If I type "create a new layer" all that I get is an empty layer.  I want to do is to import an image where I'll cut part of it and layer it on another image.  For example: of lets say I want to put a picture of myself in front of a tree.  I want to take the image myself from a photo and he sleeps on the photo that has the tree on it.  How can I get both of these images in the layers panel even?  I can get the picture of me in the layers panel as layer #1, so I can cut myself out of the picture.  My problem is when I try to import the picture with the tree on this subject, it opens upward in a new tab.  If I try to hit 'create a new layer', only a white layer appears above my first coat.  I tried to drag the new image on the layers panel, but will not join.  All the tutorials I could find and monitor, have already all the images they work with pre-loaded in the layers panel.  I just need to know how to get my pictures in the Panel, so that I can start working with them.

  The layer icon is not updated by an adjustment on another layer - it always shows the current state of this layer, and has always, as far as I know.

• Layers panel behaves died for mouse or keyboard

  I'm a new come in Indesign, but known in PS and Illustrator.  My problem with Indesign, it's that the layers panel is unresponsive to the mouse or keyboard.  I can't change the icons of the eye or the lock by clicking on them and I can't select a layer with the mouse or the keyboard.  However, the commands in the menu of the layers panel are executed when clicked on the mouse or selected on the keyboard.

• Missing layers panel

  I can't bring up the layers in PSE 7 Panel as I did in the previous version of the PSE.

  The three most important pallets using 3d in Photoshop are the layers palette, the Palette of 3d and the Properties palette. Here, I made two mergers 3d.  I merged a sphere, cylinder and a ring.

  T toggle the palette of characters on mac command, try unplugging for the layers palette and let us know what happens.
