Problem running flash player

For a few weeks, I was not able to view videos on the web, such as tv on cbs.com, news on Yahoo, etc, etc.  All show a message that I don't have flash player installed.  This has never been a problem.  I can see the flash player in my folder of Control Panel programs and uninstall it.  Then I download on adobe.com and get a message that the download was successful and that flash player is running.  But when I return to the video on the web, I get the same problem - flash player not installed.  I tried to download with firewall and popup blocker off without effect.  Also I downloaded a newer version of Internet Explorer.  Am running Windows 7 on HP late model laptop.  Any ideas?

can I leave my computer at some risk by disabling activeX filtering for all the web?  Try to do on a particular Web site basis would be a real problem.

I agree on the dispute.  It is my opinion that Microsoft doesn't really have this feature of filtering ActiveX via; It should also give you the ability to disable ActiveX filtering for some controls ActiveX, for example Flash Player.

The alternative is to use a safer browser such as firefox.

However, the biggest risk is really irresponsible web surfing, which is visiting questionable Web sites.  If you only visit known sites and without danger, the risk should be minimal.

  • Problem installing flash player 11.0.1.152 with Windows Vista 64-Bit

    Hello

I can't get Flash Player to install on my computer with Windows Vista 64-Bit - is not serious if I try with Firefox, Opera or IE (usually, I use Firefox).

The download is not a problem, but when I run the .exe downloaded, the file disappears from my download folder and nothing happens - not to mention that the launch of a process called install_flashplayer11x32_mssd_aih_3.exe, which does nothing. The usual installation popup never appears. After that I can not try to start the installation again, until the deactivation of the process via the Task Manager ("that one instance of this application can run"). No matter if I try the download and installation with or without 'McAffe security more' btw - same result.

I have never had such a problem before - Flash Player 10.3 has been and no problem to install and use.

I tried all the measures proposed in the troubleshooting section on the official website, including measures for advanced troubleshooting (uninstall the old version, run as administrator, disable the software firewall, disable antivirus, etc.). Nothing helps.

I have never had these problems with my laptop running Windows 7 - just my desktop computer with Vista 64-bit.

  • Is there a problem with Flash Player running on Google Chrome

Hi, I have a site that has a lot of small flash files on different pages it contains. My problem is when I open it on internet explorer or firefox, everything seems to work quite fine, but when I open Google chrome all flash files disappear and the pages look weird. I've been Googling for the solution but seriously not found response. Some guys say that it is possible to run flash on chrome, but currently google changed something on its latest versions of chrome for which he is once again not to support. I searched this forum and no one seemed to have whatever it is discussed about this. There are some paid software which claim they can do after the purchase of their software, but I don't know if it would be worth. I tried to alternate with javascript and changed a lot of flash files, but in any case, I need to run flash on chrome files. Please help me.

I tried this with Firefox, Chrome and Safari on Mac, and none of the browsers display the film.  I took a glance at the source and saw that you do not give a full path to the movie setting.  Instead of "header.swf", can you change this to 'xxxf' and try again?

  • Ookla speed test, router, there is a problem with Flash Player

I use Dell laptop, running Windows 7, IE11 browsers with Chrome. The router I have is a Linksys AE6900, with built in functionality of Ookla speed test,.

who has recently stopped working. It comes to getting the error message:

FireShot Screen Capture #008 - Linksys Smart Wi-Fi - linksyssmartwifi_com_ui_1_0_99_161129_dynamic_home_html (640x303).jpgSo, I'm not sure if it's a close routerelp, or a Flash Player problem. Anyone

browser is used, both use the most recent version. Flash is automatically updated in Chrome, and the version of IE is 20.0.0.306. The thing that makes

I wonder if maybe it's the latest version of Flash is, after this started, I had to do a restore of the system image of a six-month-old system. Before that I just could not

update it worked until the Flash has been updated. Although the same test on both the site on the site from my ISP and Ookla continued to work throughout. I do not use

Active X filters, but I block third party cookies. That shouldn't make a difference on my router because it uses a secure connection, and basically my own IP address.

This is a wireless connection, but I'm also wireless when visiting other teams as well. Oh, I also tried to reinstall Flash and so the router software.

I could try to install a version archived Flash, even though I'm bit of a stickler on security. Then, someone has suggestions of troubleshooting, which can

help refine it? Or should I wait for when the next version comes out and see if it works then? Thanks to the one who fixed the time to read this long question.

Looks like you have probably installed Flash, but the Web page is not detect Flash Player.  It doesn't really surprise me to IE11, but it is hardly surprising for Chrome.  My guess is that Chrome is blocking an approach using the router for security reasons guys.

You use an adblocker or the plugin anti-tracking?  If so, you could try to disable them temporarily.  Something that blocks Flash or JavaScript arbitrarily may cause this.

If you have not installed an update of the firmware on your router for a while, I would start there.  Linksys may have fixed on their end.  Otherwise, you might be out of luck.  The landscape of security requires that we (like browser vendors and the Flash) move to a more strict set security policies, web technologies, and which does not always leave room for backward compatibility.

While we could spend time trying to identify the root causes of the problem, it is cooked to your router, so is the only way to fix is via a Linksys firmware update.  If it is not fixed in the latest firmware, it's probably easier to just give her to use http://www.speedtest.net/ directly... and if it works, you have a pretty decent confirmation that Flash behaves as expected.

  • Problems with Flash Player

About 2 weeks ago I started having problems with the CBBC iplayer (for my girl not me honest)

He told me to download Flash player. I followed this link, downloaded and everything seems OK. However, I still get the same message.

I tried different download options, save, run, save, run, and save and I seem to have the same problem.

As advised by a Web page, I went into settings > manage add-ons > toolbars and extensions > Shockwave poster as installed and activated

I tried the following Web site and I am told that it is not installed.

    Any suggestions gratefully received

Make sure ActiveX filtering is disabled.

  • Problem installing Flash Player from Adobe.

Hello everyone, I'm here because im having a problem with the Installation of Flash Player. The thing is. The download works like a charm. But once she moves in the installation Phase. It stops at halfway (course of 60-80%) and tells me that I have enough Permission to install Flash. Now, I have read the Forums. I have problems and I tried to run as an administrator. But... It simply doesn't get it. Aaaaand since Firefox requires a bit there. Well... I want the Flash Player to fully settle on my computer so I have no problem!

    However... Thank you for reading my possibly one of many of these requests for help, but I'm really in need. It has just begun to irritate me xD;

There seems to be a with the files permissions issues and the FlashInstall.log file would tell me who, but because you can't get to it, we will try to generate a different log file. Follow these steps:

    1. Download the installer from get.adobe.com/flashplayer(note the backup store).
    2. Open the command prompt window by clicking the Start button and in the Serach box type: cmd.exe
    3. When the lance of the command prompt window, drag the installer to the location that it was recorded on the key to successful space window command prompt and type / debug
      • It should look similar to (the name of the file may differ): C:\Users\labuser\Desktop\install_flashplayer14x32_mssd_aaa_aih.exe/Debug

        • Note there is a space between the name of the file and the / and there is NO space between / and debug
        • If there are spaces in the path of the directory, the command must be wrapped in quotes, for example: / Debug "C:\Documents and Settings\labuser\Desktop\install_flashplayer14x32_mssd_aaa_aih.exe".
    4. Click Enter to continue.  The installation process will begin.
      • When you are finished, if there are errors, take a screenshot of the installation dialog window and close the window.
    5. A file named host.develop.log will be saved in the same location as the installation program has registered at
      • You may notice the lack the Setup online file. It's because it deletes itself once it is executed, so it will be is no longer registered locally.
    6. Post the file host.develop.log by following the instructions How to share a document or using the method that you used in your previous comment to view the screenshot.

  • Problem of Flash Player in Windows 7 Pro.

I try to get the latest Flashplayer on a laptop Windows 7 Pro, IE9 running. Several sites I visit tell me that I have an "old version". I deleted all the Adobe files and clean up the garbage from my laptop. When I try to get the latest version of Flash Player, Adobe says that I have no version on my computer. In the downlaod Adobe then said "a more recent version is already installed on this computer." The download stops at that time here. No installation is complete, either.

How can this be? Adobe, after doing a check of my system is showing nothing for Flash Player on my laptop.

    What's not here?

Download and run the http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html uninstall program

Download and run the offline installer of http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-Windows.html #main - pars_header

Make sure that the Shockwave Flash module is enabled in IE9.

  • Problems with Flash Player 11 and Flash Access 2.0

Hi, we saw some problems with the last Flash Player 11 RC (6 September 2011) and Flash Access 2.0. We do not realize that it is a RC, but we thought it would be useful to raise this issue anyway.

When contacting the license server that Flash Player 11 made a request to the url/getServerVersion/v3, since this end point is not implemented at the request and the license acquisition failed. Endpoint getServerVersion appears to be introduced with Flash Access 3.0 and not something we can implement in our current configuration with Flash Access 2.0. Flash Player 11 will be compatible with Flash Access 2.0? If so, what to do, we do to solve this problem?

    Thank you

    Johan

Flash Player 11 sends getServerVersion demand to determine the features of the Flash Access License Server. If you run a server 2.0, it should return a HTTP 404 error, because it does not support this endpoint. The client understands that it communicates with a server Flash Access 2.0, and transmits the application accordingly. In other words, the fact that your server 2.0 does not support getServerVersion shouldn't the license acquisition failure.

Your server responds to the request of getServerVersion with a 404 error? After the request of getServerVersion arrives at your server, you should see another application for a license. In your server logs, you will see errors in the treatment of licence application?

  • Problem of Flash Player 10.1

Hi, I'm a little new to this thing so...

I have a Win7 64-bit, 64-bit IE8 and IE8 32 bit, Firefox 3.6.13 - 32 bit and recently, for some reson I am unable to watch videos from YouTube and other Web sites that require Flash Player.

I followed the troubleshooting guide to uninstall, reinstall Flash Player 10.1, temporarily disable ad-blocking software and changed my firewall settings, but I can not watch videos.

My situation is: when I open a video store buffer-thingy continues to run while the video NEVER loads.

    Please help me

Hi, one of the first things I would like you to check is an add-on. Using IE, go to tools, manage addons and find ' Show "(very light text) look in 'All addons' and"Run without permission"Let me know if Shockwave Flash object is installed, the version number listed and enabled."»

Then, using IE, go to tools, Internet Options. On the Security tab, place it in the middle of the Internet Zone.

Using FF, look in the folder plugins for Shockwave Flash (SWF) and make sure that it is installed and activated.

If you use Adblock in FF, disable it if you please.

Hi, if you have not disabled the functionality of hardware acceleration, so I suggest you do that. Go on youtube and at the beginning of the video, right-click on it and click on settings and you should see a display setting. Disable hardware acceleration.
It is also recommended to update your chart and the latest video drivers. You can see an improvement by simply turning the hardware acceleration feature. If you have a problem with the video to youtube, then go to this site of Adobe. You should see the Flash logo to the animation (spinning) as soon as the site opens. Use two browsers for this test. Also appears the version of Flash Player. I need to know if you can see the animation for each of the browsers and versions of Flash Player you have.

Let me know about that above.

    Thank you

  • gif of loading in the problem of flash player 8!

    Hi all

    Can anyone help please?

I'm having a problem of dynamically loading a gif file in my swf, running with flash player 8.

I use flashMX to develop my site but I do not understand that dynamically loading GIF and png has recently introduced in the new flash 8 player so I test my swf in a browser window to see the correct result.

First of all, let me explain what im trying to do.

I use myMovieClip.loadMovie("http//:myURL.picture.gif"); I want to load the image into a target clip.

It works well when I load jpg or swf files, but when I try to load a gif file in the same way, nothing happens?

I then used loadMovieNum ("http//:myURL.picture.gif", 2); to see if I got a different result.

This loads correctly the gif into a new level in my flash animation which is good in a way because I know that the flash player to view the gif.

BUT I don't want the image into a new level in my flash movie, I need it in a target movieclip?

Can anyone suggest why the loadMovie does not load the gif.

    Thanks for any help

    Claire Wall

    Thanks Kglad

I thought that this might be the case, I'll have a go at loadMovieNum, but I think it will be difficult for it intergrate into the rest of my film. My employer will decide wheather than it's worth.
