  We are aware of the first question and studying in its difficulty. It seems to happen especially when you are working with a Wacom on a Mac computer. You can return to the use of Animate CC 15.1.0.210 version for now until the fix is available.

• New text is always black instead of my currently selected fill color.

  Does anyone know a way to change this? So that I could choose, say, a shade of red for my fill, then click to create a new text box and have what I type be red? Now it always sets the fill color to C0M0Y0K100 now, I create a new text object. Which can be a total pain in the * if I happen to work on a black background.

  I have 'new art has basic appearance' off in the appearance palette, this isn't that.

• Over time fill color

  Hello, I am working on an audio model. I'm doing a waveform similar to that which you can see soundcloud. I managed to program an expression to generate the waveform. But I have a problem with filling the waveform with a color based on the time. For example, see you on soundcloud how the waveform fills orange along the song? This is the concept, I am working on that. Here's what I have so far:

  

  I want the blue bar to move to the right over time, but I want only the white parts of the wave to turn blue it progresses (the rest of the hidden solid blue). How would I go to do this? My knowledge in After Effects is limited, so any help is GREATLY appreciated! Thank you

  So just to clarify you are trying create a representation of levels for the duration of an audio file and not an animation audio frequency analysis. If that's what you do just before compose hundreds of layers, or nest the comp in your main comp, then use the cache by approach. If it was me I would probably just import the audio layer in the comp, press the L key twice to reveal the audio waveform, press on the ~ key to make complete timeline screen, expand the waveform, take a screenshot, add the screenshot to the model, apply Keylight, then add a shape layer below the screenshot set the screenshot as a reverse alpha cache approach for the animated gradient and be done with it. This model should be nested in my main computer to complete the effect.

  

  If I wanted a different look for the waveform I edit the screenshot in Photoshop or use a Premiere Pro or any other program to capture a screenshot of the wave. Since you did all the work of your hundreds of layers I just would compose before them, place a layer of shape with a gradient animated below the pre-comp and put in place the track matte.

• Fill color does not work - gray

  I'm using Flash CS5 and I had no problem with the program before. But now when I open a new document - the fill color is grayed out in the toolbar - it almost looks like a grid. I did a rectangle and tried to fill - color picker registered the color, but will not fill the object and the fill color box remains with this gray grid looking thing. I can't fill anything. The text color will change either.

  Anyone know why or what I can do about it?

  The alpha is set to 0%. It happened to me before.

• CW3D chart fill color question

  When I use CW3DGraphLib_CWPlot3DSetFillColor on a lot that I created in the IUR, everything is OK apart that the value of blue is actually red and vice versa with the red color value.

  When I add a new path using CW3DGraphLib_CWPlots3DAdd and then change color with CW3DGraphLib_CWPlot3DSetFillColor the color displayed is not the same when I put the same color value to the plot that I created in the IUR.

  Worse still, it is not possible to set the color in white or black. RED, GREEN and BLUE have the same value, the result is always gray.

  What I did wrong?

  I found the other setting, you need to change to get the fill colors to look right.  When you create a new path, the new path takes the properties of the PlotTemplate object.  In this case, the default PlotTemplate object has the property ColorMapStyle the value "1 - cwShaded" by default.  If you change this "0 - cwNone ', the behavior will be the same as your other parcel of land.  Please let me know if you have any questions!

• Problems with changing colors

  As far as I know, I'm running Vista Basic and Aero for my color scheme.  Don't know which, it seems not switch back.  in any case, I would like to change the color of my windows, but when I go to the customization and windows color and appearance, it is just straight up with the appearance settings.  I made sure that I have all the requirements (as far as I know)... I am running Home Premium and have 2 GB.

  Can anyone give me any help on how to solve this problem?  If you could, it would be appreciated!

  You click Advanced in the appearance dialog box to get the color settings.  NOTE: Depending on what theme or settings you used in appearance, the color you select may or may not apply - it explains that where you set the colors.

  The color scheme by default in Windows 7 (x 36, Premium family edition) offers a combination of a white background for the application windows and black text for information that are there.   But being a visually handicapped person, I find the white background rather irritating to the eyes, and I'd rather have a black background, with white text, as this combination gives me a comfortable environment to work on the computer for long periods.  When I set these colors according to my convenience, using the link ' Customize > window color > color and appearance of windows "and by changing only the colours of the just 'Windows' choice in the dialog box, I think the colors of several other controls, in particular the"Drop Down Lists","Framed"and"Buttons"are also changed, often to be the same thus making the information unreadable such controls.  As these color changes seem to be rather random and apparently 'unpredictable', I cannot set the application window, according to my convenience.  I'm not able to get any useful information from the link "Help and Support" of the STARTUP dialog, about the dependencies of the combinations of colors of controls, or the link dialog box "Customize > window color > color and appearance of windows ' lists all controls that are normally used in any typical web page.  After spending a lot of time and effort - and therefore actually "lose" my time at the computer - through several tests, with all giving them negative results, I am at a loss to get this problem is solved.  Furthermore, I can't go back to the default of origin either.  So my computer is idle for a very large part of the day.

• Merge paths with the same fill color

  I'm trying to use pathfinder to merge paths with the same colors. I have a lot of colors, so that Select > same fill color would solve my problem, it is very slow.

  My typical workflow is basically by selecting the same colorful and using pathfinder (unite) paths to combine. If the paths have different colors that he would do all the unique color of merged paths. It does not work.

  I want to combine only the paths with the same fill color with the other, but I couldn't come up with a good workflow.

  Someone had a similar problem/situation? What are my options?

  Hello world! While working, I have will have to draw the outline of something and then changes to color in, and as I do, I'm changing the fill color using the eyedropper tool, or the Swatches palette. Still my color doesn't seem to change.

  I expect the colors chosen, and it's because for some reason, the program has my color trait selected automatically, even if I use the paint bucket tool, which means that me changing colors is only to change the line color and so, having no effect on the fill color - so I'm frantically clicking to color something with my newly selected color , with does not, because that I do not change the fill color as I thought I did.

  What it seems to boil down to is, SOMETIMES when I draw or change a line, he commutes to line color, and change back when I use the eyedropper and paint bucket tools, as it did in Flash, nice and convenient.   As Colin described - to 0.34 video, you select the part of the circle (stroke) that modifies the active fill color to the color of the outline (you can identify the active color looking at the State of the fill/stroke button in the tools Panel or color)

  The choice of the color swatch in the swatches Panel is the color of the outline (i.e. to the active color). You can just click Fill on the stage with the selection tool to change the active color to fill and begin your selection Swatch reflects in the painting of your filling.

  The main thing is, if you select only STROKE on stage the active color is set to the race and if you select only fill then the active color is the Fill value. Swatches Panel and color Panel will work to the active color.

• Fill color of the rectangle does not?

  I have a document where I'm trying to draw a simple rectangle with a fill color using the Rectangle tool. All of a sudden the fill color will not be displayed. I can't understand why he did this.
