  Before you try the procedure below, change the security settings for the firewall at various levels and check if the problem persists.

  I suggest you to update the network drivers.

  Steps to update of network driver:

  1. click on the Start button.

  2. in the search box type devmgmt.msc, and then press ENTER.

  3. Select the network device and right click on it

  4. now, select Properties.

  5. in the Properties window, on the driver tab, click Update driver.

  6. After installing the updates, restart the computer.

  I work on a Satellite Toshiba C850, that my parents recently bought and spin in a certain number of questions.

  (1) wireless won't connect to my network. Have done the following: verified by connecting on two other computers, reset the router, the open network, reset the map, reinstalled the realtek drivers, checked the settings in the networking of Toshiba Utilities. End result is he's going to try, and fail. Wired LAN works fine.

  (2) FN key does not work. Have you checked the region and it is OK, have tried to use the Flash cards - no change, checked with the screen keyboard and can check the FN key does not register.

  For later use, download (download Skype) on this site section, allways will give you the installer for the latest version (7.8 in this case) when available, even if your ' check for update ' tell you that you have the latest version.

  Just make the file skypesetup right click and select Properties, the details tab will tell you which version the Downloader is for (or in the case of a complete configuration file, what version it is).

  I hope someone can help. I am using windows 7 Home premium and I hope it is a simple solution that someone has met before. It's just that I don't know how to describe it so can't type into google to find an answer.

  This happens in all programs, Firefox, ms word Opera, basically any window I opened. The bar menu at the top of the screen is a transparent white color and everything works well, but after 50 or 60 seconds, it turns into a transparent, I can still read the Word editing, display etc. file. This is where the scroll wheel on the mouse and what I'm typing stops working. When I type something with the mounted volume, all I hear is a single beep whenever I tap on a button, but nothing is actually typed. Now, all I have to do is click anywhere in the window and it works again, but only for 50-60 seconds. I had to click on the screen twice since I started typing this because when I look at the screen, everything I typed is not there because the menu bar's transparent again while I was typing. Its driving me crazy.

  I don't remember what is a problem before, if it was I would have surely noticed. The only thing that has changed is I had been using my 32 LCD TV as a screen for a long time, but I moved and did not bring my TV with me, so I use the PC came with the computer screen. It's a PC I bought my sister a few years ago so I never used the PC screen that comes with it so don't know if it happened when she or what, she has, she can remember either.   I have a windows 7 PC!  Machine 64-bit allowing network discovery stay on.  I have several posts and all the necessary services are started.  I tried toroll return the machine when he was working last but nothing is.  I tried in safe mode with networking, the same results.  Same results restarted, used a different network location, same results.  I have nothing seems to change that at all.  All the other computers on my network work fineand I can see and access the device from other computers on the local network and can tire of the broken machineBUT files, I don't see anything else on the network of this machine.  Every day, I shoot files on the network, so it is a very useful tool for me.  Tere is no antivirus running on the computer, but I did an analysis away from the machine with the trend micro software which found nothing on the machine based on a virus.  Any help would be great.
