  To test the performance I use vmkfstools to clone a drive from the local store to the LUN

  On the first host (a DL140 G3) performance is good to 48 MB/s.

  On the 2 DL160 performance is very poor and barely reach 2 Mbps

  During cloning, DL160 servers save also on several occasions by the following in/var/log/wmkwarning:

  My huwawi I have 2 controllers connected to 2 network switches that I have connected 2 each controller ethernet ports to each switch is a pi and 8 multipaths for the SAN/store data.

  I have a big problem:

  I developed a GPI-driver as a single value driver in a DLL. I would like to display and store a large amount of data but DIAdem is slow (or have enough CPU time) to process the data, coming from driver.

  In the my current DAC configuration I use two blocks of entry saw 19 and 16 channels (all of type double) and receive values measured in different data sources, in my case a socket (stl::socket) and a local file (istream).

  Each data source is implemented as a thread and work conversion (MSB - LSB) and buffer incoming data socket and file stream. Each block entry in my plan of DAC is connected to a particular data source and a separate clock system. The blocks of entry, receiving data in "Blockmode" (clock, external clock) by DAC-core transfer via the method InputValueGet of the GPI.

  For some tests, I used some channels to view internal information about the drivers:

  -InputValueGet tiara MaxScanNumber

  -Current Buffersize to the related worker thread

  What I see is that the buffer size of the wire increases very quickly, but tiara is not beeing get data with appropriate speed. He wants only to between 200-300 scans to a call of InputValueGet.

  A PLUG in the worker thread was not in a "non-blocking" mode where the call to recv (...) on this blocked and therefore DIAdem was always running at 100% CPU-Time during the measurement.

  I'm under ESXi on a Dell PowerEdge r310. I currently have 2 x 250 GB HDDs in a RAID1 for configuring disks hypervisor and 2 x 2 TB in RAID1 for VM data store. I thought keeping them separated would be nice in case there are problems with the picture of the hypervisor. It worked for about 2 days now and last night I advanced and moved our VM during the machine production. Today, around the time look, I get this message:

Should I just use all 4 disks in a single table in RAID10?

  When ESXi starts, it creates a virtual drive for its basic file system and therefore ends with minimum requirements on the installation disk I/O.   I suggest you these options:

  (1) 4 disks in RAID 10 / 5 array and have the ESXi installation and the data store on this table.

  (2) 4 discs in a table to store data only and ESXi boot from a flash deivce.
