I use hd6570 with drivers

(I am user of firefox, only I have to install IE8 for a few reasons...)

Could you try to disable graphics hardware acceleration? As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).
Then perform the following steps:

  • Click on the orange top left Firefox button, then select the 'Options' button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to tools > Options.
  • In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, and then select 'General '.
  • You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
  • Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

In addition, please check the updates for your graphics driver by following the steps in the following knowledge base articles:

  • 15 Firefox crashing at the start of the command line in Windows 15

I was loading my workspace through a batch file every day for 4 years.

This is one of the apps that I start Firefox using the following command:

    @start /D "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\" firefox.exe

My batch file run and close without problem.

Update Firefox 15, using the same order now links Firefox to the console.
When I close the console, the closing of Firefox, when I open again since the standard shortcut, I have the "Firefox crashed.

I also noticed that since the upgrade to Firefox 15, some calls to console.log go in the Console Windows while firefox is loading. In particular, is HTTPSEverywhere.

When I drove back to 14 of Firefox, the problem disappeared

As a temporary workaround, you can change the startup command to create a new command shell and run Firefox from this command interface. The following command will do what you need:

    Start "TempShell" / d "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" /B "CMD /C start""Firefox" "firefox.exe".

NOTE: Thunderbird 15 also has the same problem... and the same workaround.

  • Firefox has corrupted the file download. Fix to reset or uninstal, more problem happened

This hours 5 all started there, when I tried to download a file from my school site .doc, but Microsoft Word open with "file conversion" options and preview is filled with unreadable codes. I used Nightly 64-bit on a 64-bit Windows 8.1 system newly installed (about a week ago after I upgraded my ssd).

    1. I tried to open other .exl on the same site, but Microsoft Excel can open not saying at all that the file is corrupted. I used IE 11 to download the same files and it worked perfectly. Problem with every night she looked like.

    2. I have reset every night, then tried to download the same file again, does not. I tried safemode disable all addons and try to download the .doc file. He worked surprisly!. So it seems like a problem with the addon. Then I disabled all addons manually restarted again but tested does not. I was really frustrated at that point so I think that my night has been hacked by malware or hidden plugins.

3 uninstalled every night, then I cleaned all the files on the left with Ccleaner. I checked the full scan with Windows security essential; Download malware cleaner "Malwarebytes". Yes, some malware such as files have been detected and cleaned.

    4. downloaded waterfox 64-bit, but now several problems. It remains impossible to download the file to .doc or exl format now. The right click menu does not appear on a Web page, image or highlighted text. CTRL + click on a link to open the link in a new tab does not work, nothing happens. I try to reset or reboot to safemode, Nope! the Help menu is gone, quite clear!

In short, I wouldn't reinstall my OS for that matter. I wish I could find some remover software that detects the virus of firefox pluggins. I don't want to try the 32-bit version of firefox for this problem.

    Thank you.

If Waterfox works as Firefox, commune of the plugin, you may need to change some settings of the plugin. Here's what I suggest:

Open the page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click on Plugins.

Then check the setting of activation for each plugin in the list:

    • For plugins that must run around the world (such as security software), the value 'ask to activate '.
    • For plugins that all websites are allowed to use, the value 'ask to activate '.
    • For plugins that NO sites should use, or which seem not site-specific (e.g. leads), the value "never activate.
    • Let other plugins on 'ask to activate '.

Then go out and repeat Waterfox upwards to see if that helps with the right-click context menus.

  • Problem opening 26.0 Firefox from the Windows 7 taskbar.

I have Firefox pinned to the taskbar in Windows 7 on the bottom of my screen. I use a desktop PC. Most of the time, when I click the icon it opens Firefox without any problems. However, occasionally, when first, I turn on my computer and click on the Firefox icon in the taskbar, it gets highlighted but does not appear the little circle and the highlight fades without opening the browser. When that happens, I can not yet turned off my computer without pressing the button on the tower. This happens only the first time that I open the browser in the morning, and it seems to happen every two weeks. Any thoughts on what is happening? I just had a virus removal made, so that shouldn't be the problem.

When I run Mozilla Firefox I get the error message "ReferenceError: Globalstorage is not defined." How to solve this problem?

GlobalStorage is no longer supported in the current Firefox (removed in Firefox 13), versions so the extension or Web site that uses it needs an update and use localStorage instead.

  • On Firefox only, I get problems with a few Joomla sites using the JA_purity template. Error: has not been loaded because its MIME type "text/html", is not "text /".

    Hello

I updated Firefox on my computer for 13.01. Now, he struggles to read about 2 sites - both are Joomla and based on the model of JA-purity. What happens is that it fails to load the CSS files to do with the side and the top of the Joomla site menus. The file comes up with this:

because its MIME type "text/html", is not "text/css".
    Source file: http://extensions.joomla.org/
    Line: 0

This error does not appear with other browsers and it displays perfectly in fact in all other browsers.

I'm new on this but I read the following article and think it could be my problem

    https://developer.Mozilla.org/en/Incorrect_MIME_Type_for_CSS_Files

Where Im stuck, it's that I did not fully understand what to make of this article, if I could get a step by step guide to fix this problem that would be greatly appreciated.

I apologize in advance if the answer lies somewhere here - I have had a look and couldn't get out.

    Thank you
    Alex

You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

On my PC, the old site is one that shot of Firefox in again, when I go on Internet Explorer on my PC the correct site is one that appears. It is apparently a problem with the version of Firefox on my PC that seems to me that Firefox is an absolute pain in the neck by flooding users with constant requests to update later. Very annoying!

Same thing as what? We cannot see what question you are referring.

However, he is indifferent to any browser that you normally use. A third-party program interferes with the Windows Internet connection. The only way to fix this problem before the registry change is to deselect the work offline option in the file menu of Internet Explorer. (Internet Explorer is much more than a browser. Among other things, it offers connectivity Internet for Windows, used for example by all browsers and e-mail programs.

  • Firefox crashes at the start even in safe mode

Firefox crashes and makes internet Explorer and also chromium at startup. Chrome works however after reintallation, but may break after a reboot.
It was produced after an update of the anti-virus (avast and avg) both demanded a restart of the computer.
I turned off the antivirus and reinstalled the browser (latest version), but it still crashes.

I think I solved the problem!

It seems to be the new version of "protection avg: zen ', it is to play with all web browsers, is not search for viruses, closes the network connection and not to repair...
So I removed it and everything seems to work normally...

Should have known that avg was problem since all the headaches began after its update.
