  Friends, long since I've updated my tab to Kitkat of JellyBean, I have a problem with Google maps. Whenever I use Google maps, it freezes the tab at some point and then I have to restart the tab.   The Thread I pointed you to and the various "required reading" material, describes how the different network paths are selected by changing the suffix of the URL used connection.  The standard demo does not add a suffix, by default, choose BES connection, so will be.  Unless of course, the carrier has provided a different default value for a feature not BIS, for example, I understand that Vodafone UK will send it via WAP.

  According to the treatment of suffix / default connection, the request will be routed through a number of "gateways" like BES/MDS or the carrier's WAP gateway.  If any of them could give the 500.

  Assuming that it makes actually to your server (I assume this is a URL that you control), then the 500 from the treatment of your Web.  For example, this could be because your processing wait some headers in the http request which are not provided.  Or, that demand has been sent by a gateway changing the headers in a way that is not pregnant with your web server.

  With same URL work on the browser is unfortunately not much of a test as it can be routed through a method of communication that you do not use (for example, on Vodafone BIS devices I think the default browser will use BIS - B) and, in addition, it could provide some headers for the http connection that you do not provide.

  The point really is that there are many places that could break this code.  And there are number of variables, including what method of connection is used (and in the case of Vodafone, effectively forced to use), which carrier is used and which headers were provided.

  But I think the first thing we do is to know who is giving you the 500.  If you can follow the application to your own server, so much the better.  If you can not, in the headers that come back with 500, you should some server information.  The dump out., empty the suffix of connection you use and if possible, get the log records from at the time this was done (which confirms the method of connection actually used).

  I also search this forum for more information on issues people have had with the carriers.  I know that there is some information on Vodafone UK.  According to me, that there is still something at least another carrier.

• Problem with google chrome

  I have problems with Google Chrome, which may or may not come to have somehow responsible for Eve Scorpion.  I was, at first, impossible to uninstall but with the help of Microsoft Fixit, I managed, perhaps.  I uninstalled once and it reappeared; I wait to see if the same thing happens.  I searched "extensions" and didn't see any sign of her.  However, problems continue.  I get the superimposed ads that make it very tip Click on some things.  In the datebase, I use to work, certain words are highlighted, and when I click on these words, an ad appears.     I can access is no longer some documents that even databases even if they are available in firefox.    I don't know if it's related, but I also had problems, only in Chrome, access to google news.  I click on them and get a blank page or am told that they cannot be found.  Any advice?

  I recently bought a new laptop with Windows 8, and I have a problem with special characters. Since I write in different languages, I have my Spanish keyboard and insert all special characters with Alt + ASCII code. But for some reason, it does not now (I tried on different programs, such as Word, Google Chrome, Adobe InDesign etc.).

  I'll leave the answer as to what keys to use for experts, but in the meantime you have table of characters that you can use.  It is located in Accessories/System Tools or on the startup screen, just type Character Map and you will see pop up above.

  I can access it with my version of Firefox. If you find the question with any specific site behavior, consider clear cookies. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Click the menu button

    

    and choose Options.

  • Select the Privacy panel.
  • Under define Firefox history : to use the custom settings for history.
  • Click on Cookies see the... The Cookies window appears.

  

  • In the search: field, type "mountainview". The cookies that match your search will be displayed.

• My problem with Google Chrome

  I use the latest version of the Google Chrome browser on my Windows 7 computer. The problem is that chrome is very slow in the first round. It takes more than 20 seconds to finally load the page (any page, say Google.com). Please consider these cases:

  1 - only my Google chrome is that way. My 11 of IE and Mozilla Firefox are thin and very fast in the first inning.
  2. I uninstalled and reinstalled times that the chrome by method of default uninstallation by Revo Uninstaller Pro to advanced mode, but no change has taken place.
  3 - I have the same version of chrome on my Windows 8.1 (which is on the virtual machine installed on Windows 7). It has no bugs and is very well in the first round and later.

  These cases involve the problem has to do with my Windows 7 operating system.
  What ideas do you have to get rid of this problem with Chrome please?

• Problem with Google Maps blackBerry Smartphones?

  Hi, I'm having a lot of problems with the Google Maps download.

  I just got my blackberry a couple of weeks, and google maps is a feature that I really need.

  I have download it without problems, and then when I opened the application I can search for a place with no trouble.
