Hi, I recently bought this laptop (2ndUser) with Win7 pro, and, after having not used for a few weeks, I forgot my password. I tried a few variations on what I thought it was, but he's now locked (won't not even turn on - power light blinks slowly). Handly get usable again? I know, I should have created a password reset on a USB key.
What finally solved it removed the BIOS (RTC) battery for a few hours AND leaving the battery of the laptop to run right down. He then started OK. It is now under Linux (PCLOS 2010-12-15 XFCE desktop) only and I'm a happy Bunny!
