You have installed one or more variants of the Trojan "VSearch. Please inactivate them as follows. This procedure leaves a few small files behind, but they have no effect, and trying to delete all them would be much more trouble that it's worth.

This malware has many variations. Anyone else find that this comment should not expect that it is applicable.

Back up all data before proceeding.

Step 1

VSearch variant you regenerates itself if you try to remove it when it is run. To remove it, you must first start in safe mode temporarily disable the malware.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for other instructions.

Step 2

When running in safe mode, load the web page and then triple - click anywhere in the line below to select:

/Library/LaunchDaemons

In the Finder, select

Go ▹ go to the folder...

from the menu bar and paste it into the box that opens by pressing command + V. You won't see what you pasted a newline being included. Press return.

A folder named "LaunchDaemons" will open. Press command-2 key combination to select the display of the list, if it is not already selected.

There should be a column in the update Finder window. Click this title two times to sort the content by date with the most recent at the top. Please don't skip this step. Files that belong to an instance of VSearch will have the same date of change for a few minutes, then they will be grouped together when you sort the folder this way, which makes them easy to identify.

Step 3

In the LaunchDaemons folder, there may be one or more files with the name of this form:

com Apple.something.plist

When something is a random string, without the letters, different in each case.

Note that the name consists of four words separated by dots. Typical examples are:

com Apple.builins.plist

com Apple.cereng.plist

com Apple.nysgar.plist

There may be one or more items with a name of the form:

com.something.plist

Yet once something is a random string, without meaning - not necessarily the same as that which appears in one of the other file names.

These names consist of three words separated by dots. Typical examples are:

com.semifasciaUpd.plist

com.ubuiling.plist

Drag all items in the basket. You may be prompted for administrator login password.

Restart the computer and empty the trash.

If you are not sure whether a file is part of the malware, order the contents of the folder by date modified, not name. Malicious files will be grouped together. There could be more than one such group. A file dated far in the past is not part of the malware. A folder in date dated Middle an obviously malicious cluster is almost certainly too malicious.

If the files come back after you remove the, they are replaced by others with similar names, then either you didn't start in safe mode or you do not have all the. Return to step 1 and try again.

Step 4

Reset the home page in each of your browsers, if it has been modified. In Safari, first load the desired home page, then select

▹ Safari preferences... ▹ General

and click on

Set on the current Page

If you use Firefox or Chrome web browser, remove the extensions or add-ons that you don't know that you need. When in doubt, remove all of them.

Step 5

The malware lets the web proxy discovery in the network settings. If you know that the setting was already enabled for a reason, skip this step. Otherwise, you should undo the change.

Open the network pane in system preferences. If there is a padlock icon in the lower left corner of the window, click it and authenticate to unlock the settings. Click the Advanced button, and then select Proxies in the sheet that drops down. Uncheck that Auto Discovery Proxy if it is checked. Click OK, and then apply.

Step 6

This step is optional. Open the users and groups in the system preferences and click on the lock icon to unlock the settings. In the list of users, there may be some with random names that have been added by the malware. You can remove these users. If you are not sure whether a user is legitimate, do not delete it.

You can not connect to your database other than the user SYS pending until you Cancel the recovery and OPEN the database in READ-ONLY MODE.

Once the database is open, then only you can connect to the database in waiting for other users.

    You can try it.

  • Create the table and take the name of user who can read/write on this table

    Dear gurus,

I need to add the following column in Oracle 11g DB AND also add the name of user who can read/write ONLY the following table, any table to access the same read?

I use to go to Oracle PL/SQL client.

    My dbname is 'customerdb '.

    TableName: "extractOrders."

+: example of the field data.
    Column0 = logID: 1

Let's say your table than extractorders is the schema of database clientsproperty.

As this pattern create a stored procedure that runs with the privileges of the customerschema. Having this procedure return a ref cursor For example

create or replace procedure ReadExtractOrders( c in out sys_refcursor ) authid definer is
    begin
      open c for select * from extractorders;
    end;

As this code executes with the privileges of the customer schema it can read the table belonged to this scheme.

Now give execute rights on this process for the Joe database schema - and this pattern can create a cursor on the table of ExtractOrders , without being able to access or use directly or refer to this table. Read access to this table is therefore protected by a reliable code belonged schema customers.

Learn about the AUTHID clause and how it can be used to differentiate the code approved and non-approved, which allows to PL/SQL code to run with different privileges than the demand for prescriptions.

  • filling of form of process after update user profile

    Hi gurus,

I try to create connector to provide a custom resourse, I have a create, revoke turn off custom particular to this resourse user
but I am facing challenges in the update in the form of courses,
Let me explain in detail, I used prefill lthe detail as process thread adapter, the adapter user profile update are triggered to update user information in custom resourse, they are processing the form card, but form of process is not be filled with the new values, if I change my mapping to retrieve the data of defination user then it wil work but process form the old data will ,

is that I need to write java code to update the process shape? changes flow to the target resource. ?
and prepopulate the fire dnt adapters when we update the user's profile?

the pointers will be of great help
    thanx

You have created the first name change task in the process of definition of this resource. Here, you mentioned that your work has been triggered.
So that means that when you see the resources of this user profile, then you can see the change of name the task.

    Am I wrong?

Sorry I did not notice a thing. You're talking about pre fill adapter. So when you create the first task name change in the process of definition of this resource, then you need a PROCESS TASK ADAPTER not PRE FILL for this.

Your adapter process task copy value of definition to your process by the user.

Simply create adapter with a variable and a single variable defined logical task.

Attach it to your job of changing name and map with user definition var > name and adapter return the value in the name of the shape of course.

  • Have I not a name of user and password different for each different mozilla page?

Have I not a name of user and password different for each different mozilla page?
FOR EXAMPLE. support.mozilla.org, or the services.mozilla.comaccount.
I can't seem to find out what username/pw I used before on the latter and received no pw reset email that I asked (three times).
Also, what is 'persona', and it is related somehow?
    Thank you!

Sync is currently synchronize personal data to other devices.

Who can be other profiles and/or versions of Firefox on the same computer or other computers and mobile devices.

Some like to use Sync as a backup system to a computer and is not implemented reliably and can fail at any time, especially if you reinstall Firefox and you want to retrieve the data stored on the server.

The services.mozilla.com web page is where you can check your sync account.

This server does not support the connection through Persona (Persona no icon on the login page) and requires its own password.

Persona is just a special way to authenticate on the Mozilla servers independently of the web page (Mozilla server or subdomain).

This requires JavaScript transmit these data to back and forth between the servers, so that the server must support this way to authenticate.

  • name of user and password registration

I have multiple google accounts. I was able to record a combo of name of user and password (auto guest) for both of them, but have not been able to get Firefox to prompt me to save the name of user and password for additional accounts. I checked everything I could think - exceptions of site in the menu 'options', deletion from the list of saved passwords and restart, reinstall the browser - but can't seem to solve the problem. No idea why it would save name of user and password for some accounts, but not others? THX

Have you checked the two articles at the bottom of my post above other suggestions?

Some sites like PayPal, Yahoo, Windows Live, and bank sites use autocomplete = "off" to prevent Firefox to save and fill in the name and the password.

If a site uses autocomplete = "off" then look at this article for a bookmarklet to remove the attribute autocomplete and Firefox will provide store name and password.

  • I forgot the name of user and password and my email has been deleted! Help!

Hello! I have a Skype account with an email, I used to have (it's been deleted) and I can not find the user name and password. Skype account is still active by the way, I just can't log in cause I don't have the name of user and password. Is there any other way (except mail) to discover the password/user name?

Whitout access to registered e-mail, I guess calling the service the customer is your only option, however, if you don't remember the user name or any other information that you can link to the account, retrieve the account may be difficult. If you already use Skype, a computer, you have access to, the %appdata%\skype folder contains a folder with the same name as your username (and all the others who have used the same computer logged in as that user).

Has made many controls, cleaned and repaired the disk removed third-party drivers like Toast or Avira: result is zero. I would be happy to receive any suggestions as to a solution.

Even if you have installed a third-party software ('Parallels' and a 'Promise' device driver) who is likely to cause a kernel panic, the kind of panic you are most likely caused by a hardware failure. I suggest that you take the machine to an Apple Retail Store or other provider of services allowed for a stable service and guaranteed, if necessary.

  • When I open the Task Manager and select "Show processes from all users" there are 2 files virus csrss.exe?

    original title: virus csrss.exe?

I use Vista Home Premium.  When I open the Task Manager and select "Show processes from all users" there are 2 files csrss.exe.  I learned that this indicates that I was infected by a virus.  Is this the case?

    Hi Julie,.

Did you the latest changes on the system?

Csrss.exe is Client/Server Runtime Subsystem.  All the Microsoft system has file csrss.exe running in the Task Manager, but it is likely to be infected by others. If it uses a lot of time processor and extremely abnormal in activities in the Task Manager, you can run a scan of the system security.

You can read the following article to download the Microsoft Safety Scanner and perform a full scan on your computer.
