Product activation Windows 7
Dear Forum... Any help greatly appreciated;
I recently changed my motherboard and reloaded windows 7. Request that I follow the activation process, including using the activation automated phone service only to tell the "activation code" has been blocked (and then cut). I guess it has something to do with it being registered on my previous material? Is there a phone number for technical assistance... ?
If this can help I have not purchased a license for "Home Premium complete 1 User" I have no reason to suspect that this is not a legitimate version!
My report MGADiag is as below;

Problem activating windows 7 after a downgrade from windows 8
I bought a computer with windows 8.1 pro installed and I'm trying to downgrade to windows 7 pro.
- The license key for 7 I am using is used on another pc downgraded, as well as the pc that it originates
- I talked to 2 different people at Microsoft. The first says windows 7 must be uninstalled from the previous computer until I can activate it. Is this true? What the point of having a windows 8 license then?
- The second person told me to contact the computer manufacturer to obtain a license of windows 7. This is not an option for me.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

OEM Windows 8.0/8.1 Professional (Major) comes with downgrade rights.
Windows 8.0/8.1 Professional Retail doesn't.
For OEMS of Windows 8.1 a single system locked preinstallation SLP key is a unique 25-digit product key integrated in the UEFI BIOS.
For Windows 7 OEM SLP credits is entered from the installation media. This key works only if the markers in the BIOS are present, it is that the BIOS is checked by the OEM. For this reason, you need to an OEM license and support OEM installation.

Have you contacted Dell for the product key?
The product key sticker is usually stuck to the tower that provides to the customer of the OEM (Original equipment manufacturer).
If nothing works, you may need to contact Microsoft Customer support to provide you with a new product key

Original title: for Windows XP product activation
I understand that support and security updates for Windows XP is scheduled to be completed April 8, 2014.
Now, here's the scenario.
Suppose I have the installation CD of Windows XP. I installed it on my desktop PC. I need to have activated the or after April 8, 2014.
The Microsoft Internet Server will host for Windows XP product activation?
Hello
This FAQ http://www.microsoft.com/norge/piracy/activation_faq.mspx says:
Microsoft use activation to force me to upgrade? In other words, Microsoft will never stop giving activation codes for all products that require activation?
No, Microsoft use activation as a tool to force people to upgrade. Activation is simply a tool in the fight against piracy, nothing else.Microsoft will also support Windows XP activation throughout his life and will probably make the point that turns off activation at the end of the life cycle of the product so that users would be more needed to activate the product.

Product activation message Windows and I can not get a c prompt
After that a recent installation reboot update, the following message appeared "Windows Product Activation - a problem has prevented Windows to check accurately the status of the license for this computer. To keep your copy of Windows must be activated with Microsoft. You want to activate windows now? Yes No ".
Whether I click Yes it could restart the computer in verification mode of the disc and when the screen finally appeared was so the new message
I tried to restart under different modes and seems the same screen.
Finally got a safe mode screen and the followin message appears "Windows has no start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \system32\hal.dll
Please reinstall a copy of the above file" Note: I don't know how to get to a prompt c from here I rebooted the computer with the professional disc of Microsoft Windows XP that came with the computer and may have to reboot from the CD, but here, I tried 2 options F2 which asks for a Microsoft disk recovery Application that when he uses the Microsoft disk I get a blue error screen "STOP: 0xF78D2524, Oxc0000034, Ox00000000, Ox00000000 ' and told me to run CHKDSK /F
If I just allow it to run the CD it goes back to the root of the windows error.
Please tell me how to get rid of this virus

When I turned on my PC yesterday I got a Windows "in normal search" box saying Windows Product Activation. Given that Windows has been activated on this computer the hardware of the computer has changed significantly. Because of these changes, Windows must be reactivated in 2 days. You want to reactivate Windows now?
My computer has been updated there but nothing for over 2 years. I tried the virus checker & everything looks OK. Is this true? Should I wake? I am running Windows XP.

You bought a copy of Windows 7 for each computer?
You can install a Windows 7 purchase on several computers if you have the Family Pack. When you have the 'Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade Family Pack' for 3 computers, it is a retail copy and you can install Windows 7 on three computers at once. He'll say 'Family Pack' on it.
When you have the regular commercial version, it can be moved to another computer, but it can be installed on a single computer at a time.
If you have a legal copy for each computer, try to activate again. If activation fails, see the Microsoft Diagnostics real link below.
Call Microsoft use the manual phone Activation
If you have trouble activating Windows 7 you can call Microsoft to activate it by following these steps:
1. start by clicking on the start menu, and then type: slui.exe 4
2. press enter on your keyboard
3. Select your country.
4 Select the telephone activation option, enter the number, do not select all options and wait for a person pick up, then explain what happened.
If you are still unable to activate:
(1) download and run the Microsoft Genuine Diagnostics tool:
http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=52012
(2) then copy and paste your results for inspection.
Questions about installing Windows 7?
FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions from Installation Windows 7 & responses -
I recently received a message that my computer is not running genuine Windows. The product activation code is now missing from the computer. I had the computer for two years and I'm a product of the case but no way Code to enter as there is no "Acivate Windows option available". In addition, just slui.exe tells me that he didn't and to communicate with the gateway manufacturer. Any suggestions?

Thank you I enjoyed your attention and your support.
I called and Microsoft went through basically the same things that you suggested.
We did a system restore (at an earlier date) and fortunately he fixed itrself. I'm good to go.
Who knows why it happened.
