• Unique firefox profile all users and profiles on networks

  I am trying to configure Firefox like standard browser for an entire building, and this framework is to ensure that all firefox profiles are registered readers personal network rather than local machines. I can use the Profile Manager to do this on a user base, but what happens if I want that all users of any machine, using the same firefox profile that points to a specific network drive? (This will ensure users always have their browser settings and no matter where they go, allow us to move outside machines without losing all the browser settings, etc..) The contents of this drive is specific to the user account, but still have the same way.)

  As far as I know, the profiles created in the Profile Manager are specific to each user (domain), which would mean a lot of creating manual profile. Is it possible to ensure that Firefox always uses a specific profile of Firefox or the path? Is it possible to have the control of firefox profiles exist (in a .bat file, for example), so I can create the appropriate injector if necessary? Can I use a command line to set the profile to be used by default, or that can be done from the GUI Profile Manager?

  Finally and this can justify a separate query, but I found that when you use profiles that link to a network drive, trying to open firefox on multiple computers will fail (another instance of firefox is open, close it or restart). I can tell Firefox to force the old instance closed, or I have to firefox.exe - no-remote 'differentProfile' Pei each time?

  We are on Windows 7, moreover, for the sake of references.

  Sort of. I don't always have a perfect method to check the presence of a profile, but as a solution, I'm looking in the drive location of my custom profile for prefs.js Server (IF EXISTS 'path\path\Firefox\prefs.js' (thing do)), and that will at least tell me if I have created something here or not.

  Toshiba Bluetooth stack on IBM T42/Windows 2000 test. Motorola S805/multimedia headset supports two audio A2DP stereo of high quality and HFP used as a helmet.

  If I create * only * audio sink profile then I can log in and use the headphones (rather good sound!). If I create * only * a headset profile, then they work well for that, too (not very good sound, but convenient and two-way).

  I am able to create two connection profiles by linking it first as an Audio receiver, then the pairing again as a helmet. The two profiles now appear in the Bluetooth settings window. First of all, I confirm that neither the profile is connected. Now when I try to 'connect' to the headset, it "sounds" the helmet. However, when I press the headset button to accept the connection I get the following message:
  "Now, connect, please wait."
  and then
  "Helmets and headphones can not be used simultaneously. Finished using the headphones and then establish a connection.
  Now the headset (audio receiver) is connected instead of the helmet!

  Note that before I tried to connect to the headset there was no link at all (message is wrong). Also note that if there is only one connection profile (headset) then the headset will connect correctly.

  I want to be able to move quickly from a helmet (good sound quality for music) and headset (for Skype). Deletion and recreation of the connections are too slow, if Skype sounds while I'm listening to music. (the S805 will automatically switch mode headphones while listening to the music, if the call is from a third device such as a cell phone).

  Anyone know if the software can be configured to allow me to do this fast switching between profiles on the same device?

  You must use the hands-free profile if it is supported also by your device for VoIP instead of the headset profile!

  I wanted to highlight the link that is active in the navigation bar for example my navigation bar is [home, user profile, contact us etc.] if I'm in the user profile, then link user profile would be highlighted. Basic knowledge I have is that you can highlight using the: active property in css, but in adf his does not work for me. I want the House as my default link active? can anyone suggest how I can achieve this?

  ago I use af:commandLink: active {...}, but its not working. even if the link is clicked top relays with old style instead of "active".

  (a) go to control panel > everything on the control panel > network and sharing Center

  (b) click on one of my active networks,

  (c) at the bottom left it would merge or delete network locations

  (d) remove from there

  Method 2:  You can try to remove all the listed networks and then restart the computer

  (a) click Start and select Control Panel.

  (b) open the network and sharing Center.

  (c) click manage wireless networks.

  (d) remove all the network connection listed.

  This should give you lists roles and accounts that a user is allowed to.

  Note that LDAP accounts are represented in the form of user groups, but the same is true for the roles.   I think it's really a feature request, but I don't see a forum for this. I used to use firefox almost exclusively, but switched to chrome when I started working freelance for a couple of different companies - the identities of chrome feature really helps me keep my sanity by having a unique identity for each company. However, a problem has recently developed with chrome which brought me back to firefox. The profile under firefox feature seems to have gotten much better since I made the first move, and I'm pretty happy with the way it works... with one exception:

  With firefox, clicking on a link in another application, always opens in the default profile. With chrome, she would always open in the browser window that was most recently active. It's a very intuitive behavior, because everything I do in the other application (e.g. thunderbird, evernote, Skype) is almost always linked to whatever browser window, I had finally opened.

  Rising, I just installed everything on this system a day or two before, so I have nothing really invested in a facility of firefox and have no problem with destruction of the profiles, as I have no data other than a couple of days of browsing history and a few agifts, or what is important to me.

  You cannot use the -no-remote control for your implicit profile / default browser.

  I prefer when I open an instance of FF, my Thunderbird links will open directly in the current instance of the FF I open instead of ask me once again, which profile I want to use.

  Any suggestions of how I can do?

  Change the value from true to false, restart iis, you can see that this missing link now.
