  I have 4 paragraphs I want to display on a single slide. To progress, the player selects the button "next". Each paragraph has a 'Next' and a 'Back' button to allow the reader to go any direction and read or reread the material. Once selected the last button 'Next' button 'Continue' ('Let's Take a Closer Look") is set to appear. The "Continue" button should be the only button that allows the reader to go to the next slide. However, once the buttons 'Next' have been selected several times, the blade continues to work and goes to the next slide. Each button Advanced assigned Actions. I can download these images as well. Because now I downloaded an image of Action Advanced 'Next' button and a 'return' image of the Advanced Action button you can see how I course set up.

  Have a working example. I created four containers of text T_one, T_Two, T_three, T_Four and grouped in Gr_T.

  Created a v_track variable user, with an initial value of 1 (because the first text is visible when starting)

  Created Bt_Next (visible) and Bt_Back (initially invisible) buttons with a break point at 1.5 sec (later will be for you if you want to first allows you to hear the audio clip).

  Created the Bt_Cont (invisible) button with a break at 2 sec (later than the other two).

• How can I remove a button in the slides of interaction of process?

  I see that I can add a button when using slides of interaction of the process, but I can't figure out how to remove a button so that I only have three instead of four.  Any ideas?

  Double click on the offending button. When the text of the new label is available to change, there should be a negative sign "-" button to the left. Click to remove the button.

  I then publish, and when I look at the presentation, it takes until I click the button, and then it jumps to slide 3.

  I figured this out.   in the button Preferences section, there is an option "pause after", you need to disable.

  My new mobile Quad TouchSmart HP ENVY 17 t has a touch pad, but no action left or right buttons.  How can I simulate their action.  Apparently a single tap simulates a left click, but how to do a right click?  How to drag a cell in a worksheet (to copy) using the touchpad?  I may end up using a mouse.

  I believe that this model has a ClickPad, which has no buttons left/right click separate but has left/right click zones where the buttons would normally be. For more information, see use and configure the ClickPad .

  I use the Russian version of the HTC sense XE. After the last update button, triggering languages of entry become unavailable. So I can't type on my Russian servers.

  I use a slide show 100% width with text on each slide. I want a button "Read more" on every slide that links to the exact page. I know that the button can be integrated in the text of the slide, but I want it is separate. To have a different color and spacing. Can someone help me?

  1. Create your box to read more.
  2. Highlight the end of the text you inside your caption box.
  3. Copy and paste your box read more at the end of the text string.
  4. You can move the white background up to separate it from the box to read more (see picture).

  I am trying to create a 'simple' (Captivate 7.0.1). Word search puzzle

  The user must be able to find the 5 words hidden in a random order.

  5 necessary items have been found, legend text informed the user that he or she has completed the puzzle and can click on the next button to move forward.

  

  The problem I encounter is that the caption text does not appear in the slide, although the number of clicks/selections required is met.

  Note: When to advance to the next slide, and then enter the puzzle slide text caption shows and triggers. (see below)

  I added 5 buttons to a slide and each of them have been set to go to the URL, but after clicking on 2 of them the blade moves to the next slide.

  None of them go to the next slide in stocks etc... confused!

  Does anyone else have this problem?

Most of our target audience is younger (grade 1-5) and provide more accurate results, if each question is 'read' for them. Of course there are big players in the Pack, but the option should be available to listen to the question and not have to read it. Therefore, there is a button to trigger the audio on every issue. Ideas?

  You don't need a button. Just add a legend of the question bearing slides a sound add you the portion of the legend. You can hide the legend by making it transparent.

  I'm on Mac CP5. In my module, I Dove immediately the learner in a scenario. If they can do it, fine; If this isn't the case, I want to help to be available. My plan was to have buttons to image on the slide where they could see an example, or watch a working tool. I tried just to insert a button on the question slide so I could navigate to another screen to provide help and now I see that CP5 allows me to add a button (or other standard objects) to a question slide. I also tried to copy and paste a button to another slide and that does not work either.

  How can I insert these additional navigation buttons on a slide in question? I did the quiz on option in the preferences.

  Hello Kevin,

  If you are using the Question slides coming with Captivate, you can not insert interactive objects: buttons, click boxes, text entry boxes. It is also not possible to insert the rollover slidelets or Zoom areas. You can insert other standard objects.

  I think I'm repeating something I already told you: If you want to have total control, especially if there is no declaration required for an LMS, create your own question slides. Do you have the link you asked for more details on creating question slides?

  If you want to stay with the default Question slides, you can maybe try to join an advanced action in pass/fail options.

  Also be careful if you have a "Quiz", which means that if you Question slides: you can not navigate to a slide outside the scope of Quiz, which begins with the first slide where something is orchestrated (usually a Question slide) and ends with the score slide. The setting to 'Optional' for the quiz settings change at all.

• With the help of several buttons on a slide

  I am a new user of Captivate 4 and I have questions with several buttons on a single slide.

  I want a button each to send to users in three different places depending on the button pressed. The locations are all in the current movie that I am developing.

  My problem is that using a button or click box is an action "pass" and "fail". When you use the two buttons in a slide I was creating a dummy "button and get the users click on this 'button' where there are only two choices. This procedure meets the success of failure on the button or click box.

  Of course, I can't do this job when I need more of two buttons.

  I must be missing something simple here any advice would be appreciated.

  I'm a bit confused. You say you want to provide only two choices? (Or are you want to create a slide where it acts much like a table of contents when the user clicks the button or click box) 1 and moves might slide 5, button 2 moves to maybe slide 10 and 3 button move maybe slide 15.

  If this is the case, you are overthinking things. All you need to worry is the action of onSuccess.

  I have a created a form with report (page 1 & 2). By default, APEX creates all the buttons.
  I want to display the button CREATE in the SQL report (page1) only if there is no data, if the report shows a line, I'm not display button to CREATE.
  
  Is there any way I can store (returns the value of the report) *... no data found... * as flag '0' to a certain place and then use the CONDITIONAL DISPLAY for the button CREATE based on this indicator.

  I think that these substitution strings are there to custom paging purposes - but this particular one (#TOTAL_ROWS #) is useful for this sort of thing.

  Dembélé - Sorry, just reread your post and saw that you only want to display the button when there is no line!

  Button attributes to the button, put:

  and in area foot region, put:

• CFGRID does not display that left pagination button, other buttons are missing

  Our company has recently updated since CF9 CF 2016 and after doing so, we have a CFGRID that displays only the hand left pagination/arrow of the button. All other buttons on the toolbar are missing.

  

  I've searched and searched and could not find the reason for this. I don't seem to receive script errors. Does anyone know what could be the cause?

  It turns out it was a CSS problem. When a class .table in our style sheet which, for some reason, broke CFGRID controls after the upgrade. Once I removed the buttons toolbar reappeared.
