  If I start to edit a photo in Lightroom, and then send this photo with Lightroom adjustments (directly from Lightroom with the dialog "change in") on 6 elements to make a few additional changes, then close the elements when I am done without saving the photo, the photo will appear in Lightroom with adjustments to the element, that I just do?  I thought it was what Lightroom Kelby book said to do, but it is not working for me and creating lots of extra files on my computer.  Thanks for any help!  Mary

  Save as paige said, then crush by clicking Yes.

  Normally, you do the round trip from Lightroom.

  (1) Ctrl + E in the library to export with the development parameters

  2) change in elements; then Ctrl + S to replace Lightroom export copy

  (3) Ctrl + W to close in elements and miniature Lightroom update.

  You need Lightroom 3.3 or Elements 9 to process Nikon D7000 raw photos.

  An alternative is to download the DNG Converter (version 6.3) and convert your D7000. NEF files to DNG, in which case your elements and Lightroom versions will be able to process DNG photos.

  I've recently upgraded to LIghtroom CC and it came bundled with Photoshop CC.  I've always used what to change in the past and now is no longer an option of Lightroom Edit - on the menu drop down. The only options for me on the menu drop down LIghtrooms is CC in Photoshop and Color Effex Pro 4.  I am unable to do certain things in Photoshop I did for years in the elements. Can I add items back as secondary external editor or am I forced to use one or the other... Appreciate any help you can provide

  Under the options "Additional external editor", the second line is an application. There is a button to choose, you can click on browse and find Photoshop Elements and that it is the secondary external editor choose.

  The Plan of Photoshop 19.99 includes Lightroom.  I believe the plan of 9.99 has a less busy version of Photoshop functionality or some limitation similar to what get it.

  This is a typical and very common requirement.

  The solution is to store your media library as well as your catalog on an external drive.

  You can connect the external drive on both computers alternately. The performance is very good.

  One way to make the transfer is to use the backup / restore process:

  This is the same process to an external drive or another computer.

  Edit:

  Make sure that the external drive is recognized by the same drive letter.

  Try to completely uninstall LR and then install 6.0 and then 6.3 update.

  Assuming that you are talking about 6 Lightroom Lightroom CC (which version are you talking about?), you must use the Cloud on Sign Out creative application on a computer before you can install it on another computer.
