  I bought simple-app for InDesign Creative cloud membership (one year prepaid) recently and just tried to open the application, but it does not let me. I was on a free trial before and bought the app via adobe.com when they sent me an email saying my trial ended. When I try to open the app, it just says that my trial is over and when I click on this software license and sign send me this: "we couldn't find an Adobe InDesign CC2015 subscription associated with this Adobe ID. You can buy a new subscription or if you have a subscription and are unable to access it, please contact Customer Support. "So I'm now contact support, I have not found or given a phone number to call, that would be the easiest way to clear the air, so I now with the forum for help. I have a receipt of purchase and now searching for answers. Please help if you can, really need this to get the work done.

  If you purchased InDesign CS5.5 as an upgrade then it looks like it's showing that you need to provide information about the old version where you improved since he found nothing that qualifies.  You must only choose the old version and serial number.  (I don't know anything about InDesign, nor how it might relate to PageMaker).

  We recently purchased Indesign CS5 EMEA version, and we seem to have put in Middle Eastern text conversion problems.

  When we use the horizontal flip, the text option is returned to a new location, rather than stay in the same place.

  (it seems that Indesing allows to reverse the text on an invisible line at the beginning of the object).

  We used this option before with CS3 without any problems. Are there changes to this option in CS5, or y at - there a guide on how to make the PAO for the languages of the Middle East?

  I have absolutely no experience in ME editions so I can totally wrong, but here's what I'm 99% sure it will be...  At the top left of your screen, you should see something like this:

  

  Put the black dot in the middle of it and you're away!  You probably never used before, if you don't know what it is but it is quite convenient, say if you want the text box to return it.

  I am currently using COM Indesign and VB.NET interface to automate Indesign.  I was considering upgrading to Indesign server, but another to be able to launch multiple instances of server, I can't find very many advantages.  Has anyone else done (or considered as) the switch?

  Well, there are some technique and also technical benefits:

  1. a permit. When you purchase InDesign regular desktop license you do not allowed for use in Server mode. License Office such prohibts explicitly use, and you must buy InDesign Server

  2 integration. Using InDesign Server, you can access integration API for Java and CORBA. For large systems which can be more than desirable.

  3 64 - bit perforormance (on Windows). CS5 Server is available in 64-bit version for Windows, which means that you can use more than 2 GB of memory. This may mean a considerable acceleration.

However, my boss is still using CS3 and said that she could not open or edit the indesign file that I sent him.  I looked to see if there was an option in 'export' and have not found anything.  I use a mac and I think she uses a P.C., too, when I finally sent him the file, I was still with my free trial - all this make a difference?  Help, please!

  What has been covered time without end, but anyway, I'll do it again!

  You must export a CS5 idml file, and then open the idml in CS4, export a file inx there then that open in CS3 and save it as an indd.  Sorry but there is no way round, presence, end of history etc etc.  If she's using CS3 and you use CS5 there are no roads between them unless you have CS4, and even in this case the road is littered with pitfalls!  Look at here for a pretty long discussion / sometimes write on the subject.

  Ultimately it will have to be upgraded, or you could see if you could buy a CS3 or version 4 but it is very difficult to get a legitimate copy, the only way is to buy it off someone you know and most of the people do not sell because they upgrade.

  Best new last, there is a solution in the short term to this guys blog and you can download a trial version of CS4 that will last for a month.

  I have Acrobat Pro installed locally and recently purchased InDesign CC (2015).  Creative cloud now appears to show that acrobat DC has an update.  When I try to update is said: I have to uninstall earlier versions of Acrobat.  I uninstalled all versions including reader.  The update remains.

  If you have a lot of creative cloud, you have right to run Acrobat Pro DC.

  Also if you have a subscription to a previous Acrobat Pro.

  If you have a purchased version (you don't say you have I think) there is no free upgrade; I think that what we see, it's a bug in the CC application that cannot properly manage the subscription and products purchased.
