  I don't know how good you are with script/Javascript, but also I have such a function, you may have different ideas 2 based on what you want to do:

  1. you can have a string generator that could be based on information inserted in certain areas of the user.

  for example: you can use the substring function to get some partial information from different fields of the form and concatenate together to create a unique "ID" of the form.

  Unfortunately, this could have IDS that might be the same if a form is filled with more than once by a user, and or (rare) some information could be almost equal to the others...

  2. There is the option which can use the date and time of the form when it is submitted. Using this method is almost perfect never have the same unique ID 2. You can also use a random string generator to concatenate the time with her.

  The best option you have is to have all of the answers above. Unique ID would start with partial information in the form + date/time of the form provided or vice versa.

  If you want more of these 3 options above, you can also add a random string generator in the process. Here is a help for the random string generator, you can modify it as you wish...

  I don't understand what you're saying, so let me rephrase my answer and see that if this may help you - IF your device properly implements the USB standard and has a serial number, VISA uses this serial number.  If your device does not implement the USB standard correctly or if it does not have a serial number, VISA will do for you.

  If your device has a serial number, the VISA can be used to communicate with it.  There are routines that detect and identify VISA devices connected to your PC.

  You can try the steps below to get what you are looking for:

  -Assuming that your criteria has these columns date, the worker and the group. Create another column with fx as rcount (group) and apply the sort on the column group in the application type tab is necessary to generate counts of sequence based on the criteria group.
  -Then apply different conditional formatting on this new column.
  -Now in the pivot put this new column in the measure, the worker column into rows and columns date column. You should get an output according to the image displayed by you earlier.
  -If you must also sort either worker or date column, do it in pivot view, not in the criteria tab.

  I have a block of data in database named: V_PAYUPLOADHEADER_HP, in the property palette I put in order by facility and warehouse.
  
  I want to display the line number for each record of recoveries, so I do: V_PAYUPLOADHEADER_HP. NUMB, which will contain the line number.
  
  
  Here are some methods I've already tried:
  -First I tried to make a database of field element = O, column name = ROWNUM.
  The result is the jump of integer (1, 2, 5, 3, 4 etc. instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) I think it is because of the agenda that I set.
  I have to keep this order by setting, so I look for another way to display the rownum.
  
  -Then I tried to set the data item = N, column name = null, mode of calculation = formula, formula =: system.trigger_record.
  When I run the value of: V_PAYUPLOADHEADER_HP. NUMB is 1. For all recovered records is 1, 1, 1, 1 instead of 1, 2, 3, 4.
  
  -J' also tried to use the trigger after QUERY attached to the block.
  In relaxation, I have this code:

  With the help of this forum, I now have a simple Workbench process that acts as a Web service to generate a sequence number.

  When it is called by a PDF form it reads a value in a database, increment the value and then reads the db to return the value incremented to the form.

  It works fine, but now I need something else: I have about 60 forms and each will have its own sequence.

  The way I see what I have to do is:

  -include a new column in the db table to store the IDs forms (I already did).

  -modify the SQL statements to include the number of Ref form as a parameter of a WHERE clause (I already did).

  -Send the Ref form number from the PDF file during the call to the web service. = > I have not yet figured out how do.

  -receive this Ref number in the workbench to use as a parameter in the WHERE clause.
