Need codes of the SDK and sample
I am in need of SDK and enjoy codes to connect my printer HP Deskjet 3525 of my own app (Android). Any help on your side?
Hi Claudine,
I suggest that ask you your question on The Forums Android. HP supports printing from Cloud Print, Eprint, and a few others, but we wouldn't support options for an application that you created. Perhaps you could contact the assistance platform company. For example, if you used maker apps to store , you could contact them.
Good luck.

@ Otto Davis
Are what plug-in "TM" you referring?
And, no, it does not protect against the 'hacking' or viruses.

Java 32 bits is necessary and how it is used by webworks 2.0 beta
Hello
I develop on Windows 7 64 - bit OS, however I have a 64-bit already installed Java virtual machine. I also installed a 32-bit version of the virtual machine and updated the system and JAVA_HOME path to point to the 32-bit VM. The problem I see is that there is a virtual machine in C:\windows\system32, which is to be picked up before the 32 bit, so by default at a command prompt if you type java-version, the 64-bit VM in the windows folder that is executed.
My question is how beta WebWorks2.0 to interact with the virtual machine on my machine, trying to access via JAVA_HOME or asking him to refer to the PATH variable?
If she uses JAVA_HOME so I guess I'm OK, you can find the 32-bit VM, if not what are my options? In addition, what are the implications of the use of a 64-bit VM with Webworks 2.0 beta
Thank you
Joe
Hey Joe,
WebWorks uses Java to construction tools, signing and deployment. These tools are identical to what is packed in the NDK and they expect Java to be on your WAY.
There should be no problem running a 64-bit version. In fact, we plan to update the requiments of gold to clarify this point.

What is the difference between native SDK and Cascades/qt?
Hi all
Can someone tell me what is the difference between native SDK and Cascades/QT?
When I need to go to NativeSDK and when I go to waterfalls?
These two works in BB 10 or only Tablet?
Please delete me, I can't live without knowing this.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Smiley,
Yes, you need to install the two NDKs. They coexist and separate IDEs and install files.
See you soon

Hey guys,.
I installed the new 1.0.1 SDK and Simulator without problems...
In my prefs Burrito... I chose BlackBerry Tablet OS and change 0.94 path to the 1.0.1 folder sdk...
When I try to set up the debug configuration... I can only run my application locally... Cannot select the option Simulator... It is unselectable and greyed out
See this screen below:
Is there something I'm missing here? Thanks in advance.
Never mind... It's been a while since I deployed Simulator... You must click the radio button device... to select the Simulator... Who is intuitive?

Where to increase Java Heap for Admin settings and the managed server.
Hello Experts
I have issues with the JVM arguments of memory expansion for the Admin and managed servers. I tried in some places to increase the arguments of memory (Xms and Xmx 1024 m) but is not effective. When I start the Server Admin Server and managed, I don't see the segment increased memory settings. Here's what I see-
"From WLS line: / oracle/app/bi/Oracle_BI1/jdk/java - Server - Xms256m-Xmx512m - XX: MaxPermSize = 512 m.
I have the following arguments of memory in the setDomainEnv.sh located in < DOMAIN_HOME > / bin
XMS_SUN_64BIT = "2048".
export XMS_SUN_64BIT
XMX_SUN_64BIT = "2048".
export XMX_SUN_64BIT
It looks that it did not work, so I added an entry in the setOBIDomainEnv.sh file in the hope to increase the memory of Java, but that does not work either. Here is the setOBIDomainEnv.sh file.
Really, try to understand where and how the JVM settings are controlled from. Please guide me.
Enjoy your time.
Rakesh
Under the setobidomainenv.sh you will also find the tag server administrator to increase settings in jvm in there too. Depending on your version of the seller and little Java (Sun, Oracle, IBM, HP and vs 32 - bit 64-bit) so change accordingly
for example:
If the server group is not Olivier then we can assume that it is the server administrator
If ["${JAVA_VENDOR}" = "Sun"]; then
# - UseSSE42Intrinsics required for the server running EM
If ["${JAVA_USE_64BIT}" = "true"]; then
# Server Admin memory for 64-bit Sun JVM args
SERVER_MEM_ARGS = ""-Xms256m - Xmx1024m - XX: MaxPermSize = 512 m - XX:-UseSSE42Intrinsics ""
export SERVER_MEM_ARGS
Similarly, in setdomain.sh, you will find the args as below:
XMX_SUN_64BIT = '512 '.
export XMX_SUN_64BIT
XMS_SUN_64BIT = "256".
export XMS_SUN_64BIT
If ["${JAVA_VENDOR}" = "Sun"]; then
WLS_MEM_ARGS_64BIT = "- Xms256m - Xmx512m".
export WLS_MEM_ARGS_64BIT
WLS_MEM_ARGS_32BIT = "- Xms256m - Xmx512m".
export WLS_MEM_ARGS_32BIT
After setting their just executer./setdomain.sh et./setobidomainenv.sh and then try to start the admin and managed servers and see the processes running with the updated values.

Hello
I put in the control panel of Creative Cloud Desktop for Mac Os X the/Applications/Adobe installation location, the folder that contains the folder Adobe Flash Player.
(before I asked someone to support and I got confirmation that I can do).
After installing a long list of applications, I see that Acrobat, game SDK and Scout are in the main folder and Muse uses the folder to/Applications/Adobe as its own folder; now the folder/Applications/Adobe has the icon of the Muse and inside are all the application folders, app of Muse and a legal folder (which I think is Muse).
Is it possible that ALL Adobe applications are installed in the same folder? Can I just drag these rebel software in place?
Can I just drag these rebel software in place?
Yes, you can. Otherwise, this works because it is designed. You're just whacking things a bit by calling uncleverly to your "Adobe" folder, which causes a mess in installers as - tada - they try to create folders and subfolders under this name, as well. You know, trying to thwart the installer can have all kinds of adverse effects...

Difference between APIs / SDKs and their purpose
Hello!
I have a running vSphere environment and I am a beginner with the vSphere APIs and SDKs in c#. So I started reading with getting started with vSphere SDK - Update for 4.1 SDK release and downloaded the SDK and API packages.
First of all, I got PowerCLI with vSphere SDK for .NET and read the vSphere SDK for .NET Developer's guide. Then, I downloaded the package vSphere web services SDK, samples and DLLs compiled and am reading in the programming guide.
But the bird's-eye view that API/SDK is best for what and how to use it is still missing.
Do I have reason to assume, as vSphere SDK both vSphere Web Services SDK depend on vSphere API that is available on each ESX host?
I found the vSphere API reference , but it seems to me that Web Services SDK and vSphere SDK samples, using the same objects and vSphere API methods directly.
The only difference I found is, that examples of web services use AppUtil who still uses the vSphere API but vSphere SDK isn't. Is - this right and where is the advantage by using one of the software development instead of vSphere API kits? When using web services SDK, can I use the AppUtil of samples?
So you see, I'm a bit confused by the possibilities and usage. In particular the difference between vSphere SDK and vSphere Web Services SDK is not clear for me.
Can you help me by summarizing briefly the differences and the objectives of these packages? Or is it a good document which deals with this subject?
Thanks and greetings
Patrick
Hello
You are right in saying that the vSphere SDK and vSphere Web Services SDK depend on vSphere API.
Just to clear your confusion, both vSphere SDK and vSphere Web Services SDK are logically the same, there is no difference between them.
vSphere SDK using Web Services as the underlying technology/channel to manage any virtual infrastructure. This management is achieved using vSphere API, formerly called VI APIs, which are exposed as web services, that run on each ESX system.
For a better understanding of vSphere Web Services SDK, see the file Readme html doc comes with the SDK package.
I hope that this will help to clear your confusion!
Thank you.

Difference between Flex 2 SDK and Flex Builder 2
IM new to Flex platform.
has previously worked on Flash AS2.
I would switch to Flex.
So, how should I start?
Adobe site offers free download of Flex 2 SDK
and the trial of Flex Builder 2
I would like to know the wats the differnce and wat would suit me more
:)
MohanThe Flex SDK kit is the strict minimum necessary to develop a Flex application: compilers and libraries of components. With the SDK, you will need to use your own text editor, and then manually run the compiler. It's awkward, but at least it's free. I would not recommend this approach (to someone).
Flex Builder 2 is an IDE for developing Flex applications. Under the hood, it uses the SDK, but most of the gory details are hidden on your part really, it streamlines the development process with Visual authoring tools, code completion, etc. It costs money, but if you're serious about Flex development, it is worth the cost. It has a 30 day free trial, to take it for a spin.

Help Desk accidentally uninstalled JAVA SDK and OBIEE no longer works
The java SDK has been accidentally uninstalled. I reinstalled it. However, OBIEE (10g) does more work. I don't know what the previous version of the Java SDK. However, the new version is C:\Java\jdk1.6.0_19. I think that perhaps I have to configure OBIEE to point to the new directory Java SDK, but I do not know where to set it up. Any ideas on how I can get OBIEE working again?User,
File C:\OracleBIData\web\config (instanceconfig.xml)
\Java\jdk1.5.0_14 Restart your presentation services
Try this

Questions about JavaFX, Swing, Touch and Netbeans
Hi all. I'm trying to implement a touch support with JavaFX within a Netbeans application and met with a wall of problems.
When running through JavaFX, everything works fine. Touch events are recorded and processed as expected. However, it seems that the JFXPanel who lives my scene in, or the Netbeans window system itself, interferes with key events.
The Panel is multitouch. I mainly work with JavaFX obtaining buttons to work properly.
- Committee will draw mouse down and mouse released event, but the event of mouse button is raised only AFTER the finger is removed from the Panel. In my mind, the mouse down event should pull your finger touches the Panel, as this event is triggered when you click with the mouse button otherwise. This of course could very well have nothing to do with Java, Swing or Netbeans, since it's the BONE that fires the original event.
- The Panel goes off the pressed key, touch stationary and released touch events correctly, but these events are not detected with JavaFX in Netbeans/Swing.
- The onAction event behaves the way the mouse pressed event. Tire only after removing your finger, not to touch.
- If you move your finger (within the limits of the button) after a touching, onAction and the mouse goes off. But only if.
Does anyone have experience with the creation of tactile support JavaFX in Netbeans framework?
It is on 7u25, Win7 Enterprise Java.
OK, so there's actually a windows control panel to change settings touch. Buried in a settings dialog box is the option to disable press it and hold for right-click fully function. This causes a mouse down event to be fired as planned on the button down.
So, the solution is to disable the right click of press and hold Windows itself. Just enter 'touch' in the search box and you should see an option "Change touch input parameters" in the control panel.

Lose myself just too much time to understand how the hell to get the AIR 4 sdk asdoc to work.
The lack of documentation, the instructions from Adobe becomes overwhelming. It is just unbelivable how a company can release a product without any documentation or such.
Even if there are solutions, example and others, they are still distributed on some blogs... but in this case, as everyone is does not have an information hostage.
Yes, now my freggin question, how to configure the ASDOC on mac in Flash builder!
first when you point external tool on asdoc, im getting the error:
use: path dirname
use: path dirname
Error: Cannot access c /... /lib/Legacy/ASDoc.jar
Then I change the patch in the file asdoc an absolute... and im getting:
use: path dirname
use: path dirname
Error: This Java instance does not support a 32-bit JAVA virtual machine.
Please install the version you want.
Seriously, the 32-bit on mac, what type of defect is who? ARGHHHH
can I change the version you want, 64 and now this...
use: path dirname
use: path dirname
Adobe ASDoc
The 4.6.0 version build 23201
Copyright (c) 2004-2011 Adobe Systems, Inc. ensamr Med? TT.
defaults: error: can't open ' /... /frameworks/Flex-config.Xml.
It's all simply amazing. Why can't there be some decent instructions provided by the supplier which explains what it takes.
So I found a solution that works for now, yet there should be instructions available officially from Adobe, instead of letting developers to spend hours, days or what ever to find solutions...
I suppose there may be a better solution, but I did what I could from my little experience with files, executables and flash builder...
in the asdoc file I put comment out the scripthome and added the static variable instead, the changes are underlined:
SCRIPT_HOME = "/ Applications/Adobe Flash Builder 4.7/eclipse/plugins/com.adobe.flash.compiler_4.7.0.349722/AIRSDK/bin/.
If ["x$ {FALCON_HOME}" = "x"]
then
#SCRIPT_HOME = ' dirname $0'.
FALCON_HOME = ${SCRIPT_HOME} /...
on the other
echo base code using Falcon: $FALCON_HOME
FI
If ["x$ {FLEX_HOME}" = "x"]
then
#SCRIPT_HOME = ' dirname $0'.
FLEX_HOME = ${SCRIPT_HOME} /...
on the other
echo using Flex SDK: $FLEX_HOME
FI
That solved the issue of flex - config.Xml.
Then, when I ran again the external tool, I got error about not finding local sv_SE.
so in regional frameworks/AIRSDK/settings , I had no sv_SE, solution that worked was to make a copy of the file en_US and rename sv_SE.
And since im trying asdoc AIR, ext tool should have of cource external libs added both in the arguments field:
-external-library-path = "/ Applications/Adobe Flash Builder 4.7/eclipse/plugins/com.adobe.flash.compiler_4.7.0.349722/AIRSDK/frameworks/libs/air/airg lobal.swc.
Hope that this help others in some way.

I use NetBeans IDE 7 to make GUI. I wonder if there is a way to let the NetBeans IDE 7 dealing with the construction of management background since JProgressBar and jTextArea does not at all. I have set jProgressArea value and jTextArea text manually - I believe that they must be fixed by SwingWorker (or is there any alternative?) to do their job properly. So my question is: can I do this using the view Design of NetBeans IDE? I don't see this option.
