  You cannot format the HARD C drive because the operating system is running on this HARD drive.
  What you can do is to use the 3rd party software that creates the partitions on the HARD disk on the system running. I use partition Magic 8 to create and manage partitions.

  I'm having a problem here... I recently installed * Windows * 5.1.2600 * XP SP3 * v.5657 Build 2600 on my PORTABLE Toshiba Satellite A300/600 PSAG4A.
  the problem is that I * cannot use the FN key * at all. I did a search and I recon the problem coused by Toshiba common modules (1) and (2) Hotkey driver controls.

  I have ' tried many things to install and picked up lots of different drivers, but I came out with * nothing *. And these drivers are not available in toshiba.com.au websire... I tried different toshiba site but my model is not available...

  It says I have to update the drivers for TOSHIBA RAID.

  While trying to install a new version of Norton Internet Security, the drive started making a louder than normal noise and then I was told I should I uninstall all previous anti-virus software before continuing.

  Oddly, Itunes released the error message that ITunes is not properly installed and if I want to import/burn CD, I need to reinstall the software.

  AFAIK the Qosmio G20 was delivered with S - ATA drives.
  The HARD drive is fixed by 4 screws on the HARD drive carrier.
  Did you remove this media from HARD disk?
  This is perhaps a question why the HARD drive does not fit into the case.

  Qosmio G20 supports RAID functionality and you must include the RAID driver during the installation of WIN XP by pressing the F6 key.

  It seems that Toshiba would present only single common Vista drivers like wireless Lan, Bluetooth Stack driver, etc. These drivers are not designed for the G20 series, but you can use it on laptops with the same BT card or wireless network adapter.

  However, Toshiba Vista drivers were not released for Qosmio G20 or F20.
